Chapter 7: Now What ?

"WINTER ? NOW WHAT ?" Aimer screamed on top of his lungs after pulling me in his room.

"Aimer stop screaming. I told you everything will fall back to its place. But for now you need to help me out." I sat down on his bed and gave him the calmest yet reassuring reply.

"Help ?" He asked with his doe-eyes, how I loved these eyes of his so bad.

"Sit here." He did as I said, and sat beside me.

"So Milan, my so-called step-sister is a human made of plastic. And you plastics are harmful for our environment. So we need to first, understand her motive, her plans and her true personality. After collecting all these informations, we'll need to make a plan within ourselves and destroy her. But the fact is that it won't be successful just with the two of us, so, if possible could you add your younger brother too ?" I stated my observations and my future plans.

"Of course. I'm sure he wouldn't want a bratty sister-in-law as well." Though he had cracked a joke, but his smile was absent due to all these shitty politics of his and my parents.

"But um why don't you want to marry? You like someone-" I couldn't complete my sentence when he interrupted.

"I don't like anyone." Somehow my heart calmed down a bit.

"I love a girl." But his next line, somehow brought a wave sadness, hopelessness and a sense of losing someone in my heart.

"That explains your disapproval to this mariage I guess. 'Cause clearly this marriage would benefit yours and my kingdom a lot." I replied while looking down at my feet.

"Even if I didn't love someone, I would have never agreed to a marriage for the benefits of my Kingdom, where my heart and mind are not at peace. Many marry for this purpose, but for me, if the King and the Queen are not at peace and don't love each other, then the Kingdom despite being rich and successful would shatter one day." His words were light yet so heavy, calm yet so deep and simple yet so effective.

"Oh, good good. Fight for your love." Maybe it's only me who could understand how difficult it was to utter those words, when my throat was as dry as the Sahara Desert. How tough, it was for me to control myself from not stammering.

"I'll leave now." Saying that I hastily exitted his room without even waiting for his reply.

Entering my room I slammed the doors and jumped on my bed. Why the hell is he making things resilient for me, more than they already are. Why did he become the one for whom my heart started recognizing those lost emotions once again. Why did I have to fall for him in just three days. Why is it always me. While thinking about all these mustered up emotions and feelings of mine, I didn't realize when drops of warm tears started dripping down my eyes.

5 years, after freaking 5 years these tears showed up. And that too for a guy who already loves someone so much, to even go to any extent just to escape from getting married to the most powerful King's elder daughter. His words made me fall for him deeper. All the guys I met so far, would only focus on how to expand their Kingdoms and turn them potent. But Aimer was the only Prince, who had such a different yet beautiful thinking. His definition of love and power co-relating to each other was the most fascinating point ever.

"Why the hell did he have to be so perfect ?" Even though I wasn't interested in any Kingdom, especially any Prince, but still when I met him for the first time I just recognized him right away. I was always keen to attend all kinds of royal competitions to find someone of my level, a healthy competitor. Most of the times I saw him being the best, whether it be the swordsmanship or the horse scrimmage. Though, I appeared to be shocked in the party, which I honestly was, as I remembered how I had ignored to recognize his identity that morning, I was pumped to have him around me.

"But for the time being I have to focus on my revenge planning with Aimer and Lubert." I had not had a proper conversation with Luber, so I decided to head out and ask Aimer to help me with that, since, there was no time left to waste. I know it will be difficult for me to face Aimer for the time being, but I have to suppress my emotions till I don't return to my room.

Calming my racing heart, I stepped out of the room in a progress to ask Aimer for the whereabouts of Lubert. Out of a sudden that plastic human being aka my elder step-sister appeared in front of me. For a moment I flinched looking at her horrible face, full of makeup, but tried to hide that expression.

"Hello dear sister ! I am-" She couldn't complete her sentence when I interrupted her.

"I heard you in the courtroom already." Of course I wanted to make our conversation short, since, I didn't have much time to waste on her useless introductory lines.

"Oh yeah, sorry. I'm quite excited you see. Meeting you all and having a wedding out of sudden, I hope you can understand how much of pressure I have." Her over dramatic voice was getting on my nerves. I could feel that internal smirk in her words already and how she was thinking that she would be getting ahead of me soon.

"So why don't you leave him." I mumbled while secretly glaring at her.

"Huh ? Did you say something ?"She asked, stepping closer, as I backed away to maintain a safe distance.

"No nothing. I guess I'll have to leave now ! Bye, see ya." I quickly replied and left towards Aimer's room. Inhaling a deep breath, I gave a slight knock on the door, and waited for him to open it. As expected, my racing pulses didn't help at all, and those three minutes felt like an eternity.

See ya~
