Week 17: Extensions of Magic

You: "You didn't tell me about that black magic I see there. You sure keep a lot of secrets don't you?"

Kore: "It was not my intention to keep anything from you, I just didn't think about it. You see, dark magic is just an extension of light magic. Just like healing is an extension of poison magic, and cold is an extension of fire magic. To create darkness you simply remove the light. To heal you undo what poison magic could do. And to create Ice you remove the Fire from Water, which is why any thermal magic is under Fire."

Kore: "Also, anything else I may not have told you yet is because you haven't asked directly about it and there has yet to be any other specific reason to tell you... you can't expect me to tell you all my millions of years of knowledge can you?"

You: "Ok, fair enough. So can you tell me more about all the magic in this world?"

Kore: "I don't really know where to start, I mean I've told you about the basics, and what's an extension of what. Oops, I just remembered, I didn't tell you about lightning. Lightning is strangely able to be an extension of 3 different elements separately. You can combine all 3 to make better lightning, but that's not necessary. The 3 elements are Fire, Air, and Light."

Kore: "However after that I really don't know what to tell you unless you ask directly."

You: "Ok, so that knowledge about lightning magic is cool and all, but what else do you have to show me?"

Kore: "As far as magic or this world, I don't really have any more ideas, unless you just want to wonder around and explore a bit. But I can take you to the next world if you like. If you want to go to the next world it could either be the apocalyptic one or the one a lot like yours."
