Tap!

Tap!

And currently Cyrus and Lucus, were waiting for a certain someone to show up who might or might not be going to embark on their journey of life.

But…

"Where the actual fuck is that brat, we have been waiting here for like 20 mins, what is he a princess what's taking him so long, just put your cloths on and come here damn it!?"

Cyrus screamed in frustration, while Lucas face darkened as he was tapping on the table while looking at his watch.

"If it goes on like this, we are going to get late!, Haha"

Lucas couldn't help but chuckle in defeat, just how….how can a man take so long in changing his clothes.

Lucas was about to get up when…

Tak!

Tak!

The sound of loud footsteps reverberated in the hall making the two look towards the stairs from where emerged a boy looking to be 17 years old with shoulder length black hair and deep black eyes which seem to reflect nothing resembling a bottomless pit akin to Abyss, and his lightly tan skin with a decently handsome face and a tall stature made him look appealing.

He was wearing a white shirt with black pants and a black coat with the insignia of the Esper Academy on it, a pentagon.

The boy who was just dressed up was straightening himself and loosening his tie as he nonchalantly looked at Lucas and Cyrus while saying in a monotonous tone…

"Hmm, what are you two looking at, Lucas, we are getting late, what are you doing–Cyrus!?"

"This summer the lion and the witch and the audacity of this never relenting bitch"

Cyrus spat while throwing a fork in his direction.

But before the fork could go any nearer Lucas raised his hand and flicked his wrist changing the course of the fork.

"Zephyr let's go the others are also waiting"

Lucas said while beckoning Zephyr to come with him.

All the while Cyrus was glaring at Lucus, 'this brat dares to ignore me!', is what his eyes said.

Zephyr only silently followed Lucas out of the house, he had gotten used to Cyrus throwing tantrums in the past 5 years he had been living and training here as his disciple.

Cyrus after his first battle with Lucas decided to train Lucas under him as a disciple, Cyrus had taught Lucas the art of wielding a sword while Lucas had taught him hand to hand combat along with many subjects such as strategy and academics.

A small smile appeared on Zephyr's face as he remembered all he had done ever since he came into this world, born as an anomaly among the Blackthorns and soon after dying for the World only to continue living with a different persona, although his decision to jump into the river saved him in many aspects it still had a side effect…

…. Laz's aka Lazarus Blackthorn's memories had become a bit hazy and the only reason he still remembers his past is due to his dreams which keep haunting him, the nightmare of his past life and the dreams where he interacts with Lazarus's.

Although it's vague Zephyr still remembers his goal, to plunge this world into chaos and destroy the world that that bastard had so lovingly created, just you wait ... .it's about to start.

"Hey~, Zephyr is here"

"Yo! How long were you planning to make us wait now huh."

Outside his door stood two figures, a girl and a boy both looking to be Zephyr's age and both wearing similar outfits, just like Zephyr they both were also getting enrolled in the Esper Academy.

"Hmm, it took me a while to decide what to take and what not to Gary"

Zephyr nodded as he addressed the boy named Gary.

Gary had a robust figure with bulging muscles and a towering height of 6'7" which made the others look small when standing near him.

He had brown hair and hazel coloured eyes.

"Oh! So what were you doing yesterday, off bro if you don't wanna tell them at least don't lie, we both know that you were doing what every man does–ugh!"

But before he could say even a single more word an elbow shot straight towards his abdomen making him clutch his stomach and groan in pain.

"Huf, just shut up will you, and you i don't even want to know what you were doing just get in the car we are getting late, oh good morning professor"

The girl named Claire had long brown hair which reached till her waist and hazel eyes with a curvy figure, she could be considered quite beautiful.

Claire, who was bearating Gary and Zephyr, suddenly bowed as she saw Lucas standing behind Zephyr.

And To Zephyr's surprise, for three years he had been worrying about how to get into the Esper Academy accidentally found out that Lucas who had been disappearing and reappearing all this while was actually a teacher at the Esper Academy, and Lucas didn't tell Zephyr this until last year all because, he forgot, i mean what?

And also without his knowledge Lucas and Cyrus had already planned to enrol him into the Esper Academy, and we'll Zephyr couldn't ask for any better because…..

…..Noah Fairborn, the main character of this world and the strongest hero to ever live in the very near future.

Zephyr's goal was to make his life miserable and to do that Zephyr had to start from where the novel begins, The academy.....
