The man looked at Amelia with his scrutinizing eyes while Amelia stood beside Mrs. Schneider, who instantly grabbed her grandson's hand to pull him aside, "Amy dear, could you please wait here. I'll be back in few minutes." saying, Mrs. Schneider nudged her grandson and then took him from there while Amelia was left in the corridor.
"She was an interior designer, Adrian," Mrs. Schneider said to her grandson after bringing him into a room. "And what does it have to do with us?" Adrian questioned her.
"She'll work as an interior designer for our new resort." the woman stated.
"Grandma, you don't even know her qualifications and how could you let her join without knowing anything about her." Adrian irritably commented because of his grandmother's decision to help an unknown woman work under him.
"She is a nice woman, Adrian. If she didn't find me that day, God knows what would've happened to me!" Mrs. Schneider let a cry.
"Grandma, your being dramatic now. If that woman didn't take you to her home, I would've found you way before." Adrian recollected the day he found his grandmother was missing.
It was one of the coldest days during winter. That day, when he came from a meeting, he was informed about his grandmother's absence, she didn't return home. He was tired but the news of his grandmother's absence in his house made his heart ache. She was the only family he had. He was afraid that he might lose her too. He was fifteen when his parents died in an accident, it was too much for a fifteen-year-old to take the bitter truth. But the truth has always been bitter, yet he had to accept it. When he turned twenty-one, he took hold of his father's business. Years later, he reached his goal, to become one of the top billionaires.
"But you didn't, and she did. I want to help her. She seems to be in difficult times now and I believe her to be really good at whatever she does. It's just that I want to give her an opportunity" Mrs. Schneider said sternly.
"You could've given money or something else but job? Seriously? I have invested a lot on that new project I just can't hire some random person just because you recommended. I am not running a charity."
"She is going to work and that's decided!" Mrs. Schneider didn't give her grandson a chance to protest. He knew his grandmother was being too kind. He overheard their conversation but not completely and mistook Amelia thinking she was the one to ask his grandmother for a job.

"Where were you. I told you to wait for me in the hall, didn't I?" Skylar who found Amelia, asked her.
"I was lost," was the only reply Amelia gave her. Amelia was still thinking about the conversation she had with the old woman, before her grandson interrupted them. It has been only a few days since she started to live in Kinsale, she has not yet given a thought if she could work again as an interior designer but it would be a risk if they ask her qualifications.
"Let's leave," Skylar said but didn't step further when she heard Amelia speak.
"I...Mrs. Schneider asked me to stay." Amelia said.
"She what?" Skylar asked, her eyebrows pulled together at the information.
"She is the woman I found in the market," Amelia whispered.
"So, you both are here." the two women heard Mrs. Schneider and turned to see her. Amelia was calm whereas Skylar had many questions on her mind and knew she had to wait for answers to her questions.
"Amy, I want you to fill few details to this mail address. As per your request, you will be given a post according to your qualifications," Mrs. Schneider said giving her a business card. The woman knew she was taking a quick decision without knowing about Amelia, but she also knew she wouldn't regret her decision for she has been a businesswoman for years and she knew what kind of people can be trusted and what kind of people cannot. On the other hand, Adrian was right too. In his eyes, Amelia was a person who approached his grandmother to help her find a job to which his grandmother kindly agreed and offered a job because she took care of her. He was grateful to her but not to an extent as his grandmother.
"Thankyou... Granny," Amelia thanked her. Skylar who stood beside Amelia was slightly surprised to see Amelia address Mrs. Schneider as Granny.
"You just have to mail your details to us. I will take care of everything." the old woman assured her.

'Why am I not allowed to work?' asked Amelia with tears in her eyes. She was angry, angry that she was not allowed to work anymore.
'That is because I don't want you to work in a small company.' Amelia heard the man who stood in front of her speak to her in a cold tone. The man was none other than her father who thinks she was a disgrace to his family for she had worked in a small company by hiding it from him.
'But I want to work there. Why can't you understand?' She pleaded but saw him shaking his head.
'You will not step out the house from today. You will be at home until you realise your mistake.'
'You can't take away my freedom, father,' she voiced to protest.
'You're being rebellious, Amy." Amelia's father glared at her. Rebellious? How could he call her rebellious when all she wanted to do was work in the place she dreamt.
'I only wanted to work,' Amelia gritted her teeth to control her anger.
'With fake documents?' her father snorted. 'How could you even think to use your fake documents to work in a company. I cannot believe, you dared doing such thing behind my back.'
Amelia was speechless. It was true she used fake documents to work but it was because to hide her name so that her father wouldn't know about her but all her plans went in vain.

It has been more than two hours since Amelia reached home, on their way back home, Skylar showered Amelia with a bunch of questions about Mrs. Schneider and her encounter and Amelia answered to all the questions with patience. She has been debating with herself in her room, if it was a good idea to work under the Schneiders'. There was a high chance that she would be recognised if she mailed her details, yet she wanted to risk. She signed in, on Skylar's computer and went through the company's details which Skylar showed her. Thankfully, Skylar gave Amelia enough privacy while she was filling her details. It was not that she wanted to hide her identity from Skylar, it was just that she never had a chance to tell Skylar about herself neither did she know much about Skylar nor did she try to know more about her roommate. Both were fine with each other having enough space between them. It has been only half a month since she started to live in Kinsale, and she knew it would take time for her and for Skylar to open up about their personal life.
After Amelia was done filling her details, she hit the send button hoping only for one thing, her name cannot be known to people especially Adrian Schneider who has connections with many people.
Days later, Amelia received a mail regarding her job and was asked for her presence in the resort office after three days. Skylar squealed in happiness for Amelia and gave her a tight hug. Three days later, Amelia along with Skylar, reached the resort. Skylar dropped her in front of a huge building wishing her luck.
"Aren't you nervous?" Skylar asked Amelia after seeing her neutral expression since morning. She was neither excited nor nervous.
"Why would I?" Amelia replied with a question. "Well. Isn't that normal to be nervous before you start to work in a new place?" Skylar shrugged as she said. Amelia laughed and raised and head to look at the huge building. "I am not," Amelia answered, and her eyes found something she didn't expect. She saw a man standing near the window who was already looking at her. Amelia nonchalantly shifted her gaze from the man to Skylar. "Why do I have a bad feeling?!"
