The first call

Confused,tired and hungry just relaxing in bed i hear my phone ringing.

" Hello " i lazily reply back Hello

"Am i speaking to Mercy?

Yes that's me i reply calmly

" My name is Sly and yesterday you dropped your wallet at the train station..i tried to reach you but you had left with the ongoing train.. i decided to keep it and call you since it has your details. unfortunately my phone went off hence am calling now."

Oh my God thankyou so much i really appreciate. How can i meet you or where can i come pick my wallet please? I thought i was pickpocketed and never to find it again.

"Sorry for that..can we meet in the evening over a cup of coffee at Java at the greatwall mall?

Yes we can am available..is 5pm okay with you?

" Let's make it 6pm please am leaving the office abit late today."

I sit up and remember what transpired yesterday and start sobbing again 😭😭😭
