Be Lonely Idiots Together

<David pov>

"Bye." Pearl said and walked out of the door.

I sighed, picked up my phone from the table, and called Arthur.

*boop* It sounded as it got picked up.

{What?} Arthur asked from the other end.

"Are you busy?" I asked as I closed my laptop and put it aside.

{Oh? Why do you ask?} he said teasingly.

"No reason. Just thought we could be lonely idiots together." I said as I stood up and paced the room.

{Hmm, why don't you go spend some time with your wife, huh?} he teased.

"She's busy." I stated as I continued my pacing.

{Hmm, so she left.} he said with a small chuckle.

"So? At least I have a lover." I retorted.

{Hmmph, touché.} he humped.

"So, when will you be getting here?" I asked and sat down.

*sigh* {Be there in ten.} He said with a sigh and cut the call.

We sat in the lounge about fifteen minutes later as Mrs. Gray served us some coffee and snacks then left.

"So what was I called here for?" Arthur asked as he put down his glass.

"Nothing, to be exact." I answered as I sipped my coffee.

What?" he asked with a glare.

"Just felt like annoying you." I said with a shrug.

"Ughh. I hate you sometimes. Where's the game room again?' he asked as he stood up and crossed his hands over his chest.

"Can't you think of anything better to do?" I asked leaning back in my chair.

"Like what?" He asked.

"Relaxing? Reading? Maybe some chess?" I said as I closed my eyes.

"Nope. Now let's go play something." he responded and started pulling at my arm.

"Geez, I'm coming. Let go of me." I said as I pulled my arm out of his grip.

We went upstairs to one of the extra rooms which I had converted to a game room a while back.

As we played, Arthur kept on ranting about how I needed to get some new games and stuff.
