Leaving the city
Ava quietly slipped out of Jake's residence, determined to leave the city behind and start anew. She had very little money and no clear destination in mind, but she was resolute in her decision. The weight of her pregnancy and the tumultuous emotions she had endured fueled her determination to find a safe place for her and her unborn child.
Ava walked for a few metres, her mind racing with thoughts of her uncertain future. She avoided crowded areas, wary of being recognized or followed. Her journey was slow and arduous, but she pressed on, driven by the hope of finding peace away from the chaos of her past.
