Pinch my cheeks, I'm the villainous AI

My name was Finn and I wrote... Stella and the celestial bodies! A wonderful novel I wrote to get girls. That was by far the dumbest thing I've ever thought of. Though that wasn't the whole truth. As that's what I told my friends who read the female oriented novel. Now however... Now I regret every version of the story. With my early death of slipping on a lego and falling off my balcony while live-streaming. So by far, my most embarrassing moment. To my surprise though time stopped just before I hit that ground and I heard a voice. It asked me if I wanted to be saved. Saying yes, I now say I regret my decision. ----- I don't own art obviously and its AI generated

Lies and Disguises

Hazel asked for the 3rd time, "Can we really meet them? CAN I REALLY MEET PATELLO!"

Patello was apparently the player she liked the most, at least on the teams that were playing. Nearth didn't have national teams or whatever, but more regional teams. I thought they were the same, but Hazel had some weird rant about it on the way down here.

Patello was apparently one of her favorite players. Truth be told with all her hype I was hoping they would make a good data mark. I responded to her again, "Yes, but don't say anything suspicious. Remember I got the tickets and this opportunity through 'Work'."

I put emphasis on the word work so she got it. So I continued, "If it come up about who you are, you can say a talent within my agency." Not like it was a lie, I did plan on dragging her in.

Hazel paused, "Do you actually run a talent agency?"

I nodded, "Sort of, it isn't established completely yet."

Hazel leaned against the wall and laughed. "What talents you got currently?"

I didn't give her a response because a man with a round belly opened up the door. "I hope you didn't wait too long." He gave a light chuckle before continuing, "My name is George Sacho, I am the man you talked to over the phone."

I met his hand in a hand shake and he put some force behind it. "Haha, you have a firm hand shake."

I gave a smile that matched his own jolly smile. "It's all in the wrist. I am Finn Ryle, from the Ryle Foundation. This is Hazel, she is one of the people from my agency. She loves football and so I took her along."

George shook her hand with a lighter grip, "Nice to meet you, Hazel." She smiled and gave a short greeting. George then turned back to me, "So Mr. Ryle, or can I call you Finn?"

I nodded, "Sure, if I can call you George."

He laughed, "Great, Thank you very much Finn. Now You have business to discuss?"

I took out the cube and Hazel looked a little confused. "This is HADI, that's an acronym. However to keep this short its a scanner. What it does is scan people and compares the data to other people. I wish to scan the players of both teams to put them into the data base."

He nodded, "Right, I said this over the phone, but you mentioned this could improve their performance? Though as you might imagine that word is a sin in the league."

Hazel's expressions shifted wildly, it was rather cute. However I excluded her from this. "Yes, you see it scans a person's muscles, their brain, even blood and so on. With this data, you could use it for varying means like discovering if a person has leukemia. However, if say you knew what you were looking at you could tell what exactly a person could do comfortably."

He smiled, "I see, prevent long term injuries form ever occurring, improving the way they move and play the game. You look at the specific muscles and you'll even be able to tell if they are pro material or not."

He was a smart man, and a good manager of the sport. He knew his stuff, "Indeed, however that's not all. You can simplify the results so you get rounded numbers in simple terms. Like say Strength, Stamina and Dexterity. Perhaps, it's untested yet, but even the compatibility and effect of certain technologies."

The last part he seemed to be tripped up on, however a look of discernment appeared. "Could you explain a little more. I believed I know where you are heading with this, but I am not entirely sure."

I smirked, "Who wouldn't want to see superpowered individuals duke it out in a more competitive version of the sport? I mean in the last 5 years a drop off of 40% attendance occurred. Younger people still appreciated the sport, but they don't want to shell out the cash or time."

His face grew into a massive grin. "I see, that would certainly be a great opportunity."

Hazel also seemed to shift into a more joyful expression. It seemed she was getting her own ideas. I smiled, "So do you have a deal?"

George rubbed his chin, "I will have to think on the rest, however you can scan the players. As long as you give us the data."

I grabbed his hand a shook it, "I'll even give you my analyzed version."

George smirked, "You are a fine man, Finn Ryle."

With that the conversation between us ended. He had my number and would no doubt call me back. So as I exited towards where the players were, Hazel followed with her eyes sparkling.

Hazel practically exploded, "Can you get me into that superpower shit you talked about? That sounds sick as hell!"

I couldn't agree out right so I looked as if I gave some thought. Eventually I asked, "You aren't wondering about the HADI? or anything like that?"

She rubbed the back of her neck, "Uh, well I, uh..."

I smiled and joked with her, "What? Talked about how those studious bastards are all so annoying and all your parents talk about? and new inventions are stupid?"

She sighed, "Alright, I still think all that is kind of dumb. However the news kept talking about superpowers and well, uh, you taking me here. They make my outlook seem dumb as well. Specially since I may not be very academically smart, I can still see you planned recruiting me into your talent agency thing, if that is real..."

I laughed, "If it is real?" I rubbed Hazel's hair, "You'll have to be a good girl in the future. Just try not to fall in love with your boss. Currently however are you ready meet those football players?"

Her face was flushed red, and she bit her lip. "You know, has anyone told you are kind of an ass?" She shook herself slightly, "But yeah, Let's meet Patello!"
