Phoenix's Realm

The magic in this is from the Arcane Adventures series. I might add other elements like Awakenings if that's a wanted thing. Haruno OC, but the lack of Chakra doesn't really matter when you don't use it. First Magic: Fire (nostalgia) Enjoy! Yes, this was recently renamed.

Aureus Haruno

I inhaled a sharp breath, waking up in an unfamiliar bed with a bright pink hoodie and black sweatpants pants on, looking around with confusion.

Where am I? I thought, trying to get up from the bed but tripping on behalf of my smaller legs, faceplanting on the ground.

Getting up, I looked around, analyzing the room. It was entirely pink, and there was a girl sleeping on the other side of the room, with a shrine of what I assumed to be who she stalked. There was a photo of a boy with jet black eyes and equally dark hair.

'Sakura.' The word came to my mind, but I didn't think anything of it. I walked out of the room, closing the door behind me. I closed it quietly, navigating the house like it was muscle memory. That was weird to me, but I yet again didn't think anything of it, entering the backyard.

I have an odd urge. I thought to myself.

I clapped my hands together, closed my eyes, and focused.

A fiery aura surrounded me, heating up my surroundings, and I stretch my palms out.

"Fireball." A small spell circle formed in front of my palm, and a Fireball fires from it, exploding on impact with a tree, causing a small fire.. and naturally I started to panic, doing whatever I could to stop the fire, but soon realized there was nothing I could do, especially due to the sudden migraine I got that completely immobilized me. As the fire spread, I groaned in pain, as memories started flooding into my head, about this world, and the people in it, and me, Aureus Haruno, a kid born without Chakra Coils, and therefore unable to produce Chakra.

After the migraine, I ran to my parent's bedroom, and slammed the door open.

"FIRE!" I yelled, waking them up, but they looked angry.

"Aureus Haruno! You set a fire?!" My mother angrily yelled.

"No... I..." I looked up, and the two people were gone, leaving me utterly confused at where they went. The next thing I knew, I was also outside, next to my mother and father.

"what-"

"It's out! But your yard is gone." A shinobi informed us.

"You did what you could, Chunin Mochizuki. Go and get some rest, it's the middle of the night." My mother said, turning to me with a stern look.

"What happened?" She asked me, as both my parents looked at me with a questioning gaze.

"You know how I don't have Chakra?"

They nodded.

"I have somethin' else.. Didn't know what the hell I was doing until.." I pointed to the charred yard.

My mother sighed, as my father chuckled.

"We'll go get you checked out tomorrow..."

I walked into the Academy with a pep in my step.

For one, I wasn't powerless in a real fight anymore.

For two, I found out that my ability, which I immediately called Arcane Magic, or just Magic, grows stronger the more I use it. The same with my physical abilities.

I did find out what happens when I overuse Magic though...

I can't form any magic spells!

So, I 'charge' my Mana. I just get into a stance that feels natural to me, and let the mana flow. When I charge, an aura of fire surrounds me. It seems my magic has an element, and the element is fire. It might sound weaker than Chakra, but my spells slowly get stronger every time I use them, meaning with enough work, my spells will easily overpower a Fire Release Jutsu.

As I walked into the doors, I sat in the corner with a smile. That smile faded when Iruka yelled at Naruto for being late.

I raise my hand, and Iruka calls on me.

"Iruka-sensei, why do a lot of people dislike Naruto? I get pranks, but clearly it's more than that."

Iruka looks at me for a moment.

"It's best if you left some questioned unasked, Aureus." He said with a frown, before saying that we'll have to do the Transformation Jutsu because of Naruto's antics, which deepened my confusion, as well as my frown. No Chakra, no Transformation Jutsu.

My name starts with an A, so, I'm first. But Iruka gives me a different task. "Since you lack any Chakra, I'll spar with you at the end, and I'll grade your Taijutsu."

That made me turn my frown upside down, and I gave him a soft smile. "Thank you, Iruka-sensei."

The class complained that I got to fight, but Iruka reasoned that I was physically unable to use Chakra, so it would be more unfair for me if he just automatically failed me. Everybody except Naruto agreed with this.

As everybody did the assignment, I felt an odd sense of Deja Vu.. but I didn't think anything of it.

Other than that, Sasuke, Iruka and I were the only ones that didn't get mad at Naruto. Sasuke didn't care, Iruka was knocked out with a nosebleed because of Naruto's perverted transformation, and I just wasn't the type of person to get mad at much of anything.

At the end of the class, I sparred with Iruka-sensei.

"Everything besides weapons and Chakra are allowed." Iruka said, and I smirk, getting out of my stance.

"HAJIME!"

I fly towards Iruka, a Fire Magic Circle over my palm as I punch him high into the air with an uppercut, leaping slightly above him, a magic circle in between us.

"Wha-"

I smirk.

"FLAME SPLASH!"

I spin kick him with a flaming leg, sending him flying into the ground with an explosion of fire.

As Iruka is disoriented, I send a Fireball Spell at him, right before diving into him, slamming my heel into his stomach right after he's hit with the Fireball.

With charred clothing, Iruka gets up, coughing up a storm, as I charge my Mana, putting all my energy into my fists, as they ignite in flames.

Iruka dashes at me, and I dash at him.

"Let's see if this works..."

As Iruka throws a punch, I use his momentum against him, slamming my flaming fist into his gut.

Iruka buckles over.

"Winner, Aureus Haruno!"

Sakura cheered for me, as I was her brother, but I don't pay attention, watching Iruka get treated with a frown.

I didn't realize how fast I grew..

-- CHAPTER END

Let me know of any mistakes, and definitely let me know how the growth was compared to the AA series. (do note that it's really hard to place growth since I'm converting a video game's time system to an actual story.)

Also note that Strength Level 1 is presumably adult human level, so when Flame Splash is unlocked at 11, which is like before even the first actual enemy, the player is theoretically 11x the level of an adult human.

Have a good day or night! Bye Bye!
