First Day inside the Dungeon

The Demon Bear got closer to where he was hiding and as if it was confirming if life was truly there, it started sniffing away.

Qin watched from below and had his voice repressed, he tried his best not to make any kind of movement. Trying his best to make himself as little as possible, Qin was acting base on his instincts.

He was able to see the bear's full form, with its abnormally enormous body jet black fur, sharp claws, and three eyes the name <Demon Bear> was truly fitting.

Qin was not surprise to see such a monster exist, many monsters have been discovered and recorded ever since the first dungeon appeared but seeing its level Qin knew that this beast was trouble.

Its name was fully red and the level was the same, with a 78 level difference Qin knew that one hit was all it takes for him to be taken out, now he knew why those people before all died.

Thinking this way Qin asked himself this question;

"If a random monster is this strong then how about the king and the ghouls?"

He did not have any kind of base point on how strong is this Demon Bear is but at least he knew that with his current strength he will never survive long enough to see the exiled king.

Most people in his situation will most likely lose all hope, however, he's not like most people he has a reason why he has to come back to his family and if the chances of survival are not zero then there's ever only one answer to the question of what he should do.

'I need to get away.'

He looked at the mini-map and started seeing a red dot next to his blue mark. While looking at the red mark a line appeared from out of nowhere and the name of the monster, <Demon Bear> appeared.

He browses through his mini-map and saw various places of where he could go, there were four different places he could take refuge on the only problem was that these places were the [Dens] and [Nest] of monsters or near it.

The Demon Bear was cautiously sniffing away some kind of trace and after some time, its nose twitches multiple times and then its mouth started to water and the most obvious change it had was that its three eyes lit up and became purple in color.

Roar!!

Boom!!

It roared and from behind the trees, it fervently made he ruckus of flailing around. It then made another move of raising one of its huge arms and as if it was a giant mace it slammed the ground like a tool of destruction.

Qin looked towards his left and saw the mark left by the Demon Bear's heavy hit from one glance alone Qin knew that the single strike it just made was something he can never hope to take, he even thought that a fully armed rank-B Seeker will die from that.

His gaze was then drawn to Demon Bear's eerily berserker eyes, he shuddered at the sight of such bloodlust filled sight so he got up from the ground and through some mysterious force he got the strength to run away.

Roar!!

Crash!!

The Demon Bear saw its 'prey' run and through sheer brute strength, it forces its way through the trees having it fall down with a loud bang.

Qin run and run with a monster too powerful for him to even scratch with the sword he was holding, he did not know what kind dungeon this is or what kind of [Ratings] this monster will get in the outside world but Qin was sure that it will be above A-rating.

Then, as Qin was running he felt the blood run down his face, he touches his head and felt the blood slowly dripping down on his pained expression.

'So it was my blood? Shit, this is too much for a level 1 noob, isn't it? Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! SHITTTTTTTT!!!!'

He rained curses inside his head but soon after he checked the minimap on his side Qin showed a smile on his face, he looked behind on the monster and motioned with his middle finger.

Swoosh!!!

The sound of falling waters was heard from nearby and just as he did Qin made his speed go up as he desperately tried to quicken his pace.

Graaaa!!

The Demon Bear was getting closer to Qin and little by little the difference on them dwindled to a mere couple of inches and as it got close to Qin its jet black fur experienced another change.

Slowly, it became red and seemed to have caught fire.

Woosh!!

Scorching flames ignited behind Qin, he felt the rising intensity of the temperature and as if he felt the reaper of death get closer to him he hurriedly sped up and finally, he reached the end of what seemed to be a never-ending forest.

Woosh!!

Woosh!!

Woosh!!

The sound of water crashing down from unknown heights echoed inside his ears. In front of him was the only thing that could save him from the blazing demon chasing him?

An unknown waterfall presented itself to him the bottom of the waterfalls cannot be seen but Qin took the opportunity to take the leap of fate and just before he was about to jump a single thought flash inside his mind.

'I will live through this.'

With that thought, his first day inside the Phantom Dungeon came to an end.
