Restless, Si Mu took up her phone as she called Si Han's number. 

After two rings when Si Han took up the call, Si Mu's eyes were glistening with tears as she suddenly felt the urge to kiss her sweet and caring brother!

'I'll remember to pay you back tenfold, brother! You are the best!' Si Mu quickly took the phone in her ear as she thought to herself.

"Mu'er, where the hell did you go? I searched the entire site, but there was no trace at all! Do you know how worried I was?" Si Han almost made Si Mu's ear explode by yelling loudly. 

But Si Mu didn't mind at all as she tried to coax her brother with a sweet tone, "Brother, I just came to the barbeque restaurant next to the site with a friend of mine."

"I'll come back after eating. Can you wait for me in the car park?" Si Mu wanted to make sure about her escape route so that she could leave safely even if there was a commotion.

"Well, fine. If you say so, it's just so happened that I don't have any other schedule today either. So I'll stay there to wait for you." Si Han was flustered by how easily he got persuaded by Si Mu's sweet voice.

It seems he never really can get tough with this younger sister of his.

"You are the best, brother! I love you to death! Muah! Bye!" Si Mu was literally in heaven after she heard his agreement. 

So she sent a flying kiss to Si Han unconsciously as a habit before cutting the call which left both Si Han and Lin Mei dumbfounded.

After half an hour, 

Si Mu and Lin Mei were full after eating barbeque to their fill, and now they were finally preparing to get up.

That was such a great feast!

"Alright then, see you tomorrow, Mei mei." Si Mu bid goodbye to Lin Mei as she stood up ready and was preparing to head back.

"Okay! See you on the set, Sister Mu!" Lin Mei waved her hand towards Si Mu happily.

It's good that she didn't encounter any of the male protagonists around here, so she safely can leave the place without anyone noticing. 

A faint smile appeared in Si Mu's face before she looked behind Lin Mei, her face turned into ashes in an instant. 

Sure enough, speaking of the devil, and there he is!

'What the hell? Isn't that Zhou Jihan?'

Si Mu suddenly felt that her stomach was upset and she would throw up at any moment, but she tried her best not to in front of him.

The guy directly dashed towards them with long strides as he stopped right in front of Si Mu. 

His piercing glare made Si Mu feel irritated, but she stood there with a flat emotionless face. 

But then he turned his head towards Lin Mei as he asked her sweetly, "It's a surprise to meet here, Miss Lin. How have you been?"

'What a drama queen. This pretentious bastard! Look at his one hundred degree change of attitude, no one will say that he was glaring at me just now!' Si Mu was cursing the blockhead inside her mind, but didn't say anything out loud. 

"Ah! I'm well. How is Mr. Zhou faring?" Lin Mei frowned a little as she looked at Si Mu. 

'A third generation rich Young Master, of course he won't pay any attention to me!' Si Mu knew this much well, because she showed that her background was very simple with a simple family when she entered the industry for the first time. 

This was to hide her real identity, as she didn't appear in the banquets often, no one knew that she was actually from the powerful Si family which was actually the heart of the capital. 

Anyway, Si Mu didn't wish to talk with this insignificant person, so she went aside as she started to walk away. 

"Wait! Sister Mu, where are you going?" Suddenly, Lin Mei grabbed her hand as she stopped Si Mu from leaving. 

Si Mu was stunned as she looked up at Lin Mei.

What is she doing?

"Yeah? Didn't I bid goodbye to you just now? I'm leaving, there is someone waiting for me outside." Si Mu said with a sweet smile which made Lin Mei frown even more.

She didn't let go of Si Mu's hand as she held her back from leaving.

"Mr. Zhou, you didn't say hello to Sister Mu. She is my friend!" Lin Mei looked at Zhou Jihan with a headstrong look.

Wait! Why are you bringing up me in this? I'm only a damned supporting character, I don't want to die yet!

"Is that so? When did you become friends with Miss Si?" Taken aback by the sudden change of talking, Zhou Jihan tried to smile politely as he asked Lin Mei.

"Just today. And Sister Mu is a nice person, so please do not treat my friend coldly, Mr. Zhou," Lin Mei looked at Zhou Jihan with brooding eyes.

"Ah! My apologies. I'll be more careful from now on, Miss Lin." Zhou Jihan didn't spare a moment before apologizing as he gave in easily to make sure Lin Mei won't get upset with him.

"Let's go, Sister Mu, I'll go back with you," Lin Mei didn't stay there anymore as she dragged the stunned Si Mu out of the restaurant.

Why did she act this way with a Male Protagonist?

Si Mu didn't know what the reason was, but she came back to her mind when she finally got out of the restaurant and stopped walking. 

"I'm sorry, Sister Mu. I didn't think that such a thing would happen." Lin Mei directly apologized without holding back.
