Lin Mei stood up from the ground as she thanked the people and went back to the group of girls.

"Her acting skill is good, what do you think, director?" the assistant said from the side as his eyes were sparkling in excitement.

"Next!" Director Ning didn't reply to him as he asked for the next girl to give the play.

Si Mu also felt a little bored watching the same scene again and again.

After more than three girls played the role, Si Mu finally got the call as she went forward and picked up the wooden sword.

"Ji Mubai… You were the last to betray me in my list." Si Mu pointed the sword towards the invisible Ji Mubai.

"Wait Director, she is changing the plot line. Should I stop her?" The assistant wanted to stop Si Mu, but he stopped when he saw the serious expression in his boss.

He moved his finger to tell the guy to stop right there. So he didn't dare to step up as Si Mu continued the play.

"It doesn't matter, I have lived my life to the fullest… both for me and my decisions!"

"Regardless… My life will end here, I'll pass without remorse. Unlike you!" Si Mu started to laugh hysterically as if she was possessed by something. 

Which made the girls and the crews to feel as if this remorse of hers was for real.

"Mubai… you are now… my enemy. But I could never… truly bring myself to hate you." Si Mu lowered her head as she said with a weak voice. As if she was on the verge of death.

Some of the girls started to wail all of a sudden because the scene was truly emotional and painful, but she continued her play without paying any attention to them.

"It seems this is the end… If there's such a next life, I hope not to become your enemy… "

"I'll swear my sword to you—" the voice slowly died as the entire room fell into silence. 

"Excellent!"

The director stood up from his seat as he started to clap his hands, the others also started to do the same one by one.

The role was really great with a mix of various emotions, and Si Mu also played the role very well.

Si Mu also stood up as she placed the wooden sword away. 

'Did I do well?'

"You played the role very well. Exactly what I wanted! What's your name, young star?" Director Ning asked as he went forward towards Si Mu. 

"My name is Si Mu, director. Thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate it." Si Mu laughed silly as she scratched her head a little. 

Director Ning furrowed his eyebrows when he heard her name. As far as he could tell, Si Mu wasn't a good actor.

A silly D-listed actress with a bad reputation in the circle. But today the play was quite up to his expectations. 

"You are Si Mu?" Director Ning asked her once again to confirm her identity. 

"Yes, it's me. However, you don't need to be discouraged, Director. I absolutely won't make any trouble during the cast! I promise!" Si Mu knew why he was doubting and dilly dallying after knowing her identity.
