My name is Hikaru. I'm the youngest prince of are an empire. Now you should know a good amount of information before you read this story. This is a book, based on my day to day life. Simple really, try to follow along and not get lost, it would cause trouble for me indeed, it really would.

Now I live in Qiang palace, don't confuse it with Qi palace, that's my big sister's palace, Aru. I live with Ashi, my servant, and his twin Takisha. But they're a different story on their own. My father is emperor, while my mother was a favored consort, killed by a gang, ya got that much right? Anyways, my father was so angry he banned gangs in our empire, that he knew of anyways.

Now I have lots of brothers and sisters, but I don't care about the ones who are gonna never get mentioned in this story!

So let me explain what's currently going on, My big brother Clouse has gotten himself in another fight with my sister Xi, and now there's a debate going on, where am I, you may ask in all of this? I'm in the seat next to the door sleeping, how I hear this all is due to my power, in which one in five has in this empire, but I'll explain those later shall I? Indeed I shall.

Here's the following conversation,

"Royal father it's Clouse's fault for breaking my priceless Hairpin from royal grandmother," Xi spoke.

"I didn't mean it, I tried apologizing and she flipped out on me." He replied.

"So? Xi, my princess shall control her temper you know how clumsy your brother is, and that's final!" The old man shouted.

In the empire, All men are required to have a wife or more at the age of 17, all women must marry at 15, princesses are when their old man decided.

I am 16, my brothers all have wife, or wives, I turn 17 two days from now. A dreadful day that's gonna be.

"Your highness, Time to go, the debate is over," Ashi spoke.

This guy, he has the power to bend the earth to his own will, turning a blunt stone into a rock sharp as iron, cuts through anything really easy.

I don't trust him what bit, but I play along with it. His brother is far sweeter, and merciful, unlike him at all.

"Alright," I replied.

I was carried by a carrier, The old man knows my legs are in the greatest condition, why that is? Well, that's gone be explained later as well.

"Your highness, I wanna piece of food, can I?" Takisha asked.

"Sure," I replied.

This kid is a mere 16 as well, he can't get married since he's a servant right now, those servants can marry once there 19 that's when they can leave the palace.

I don't want him to leave, well not Ashi, I don't care to about him! The other one, I like him ya know. But I'll wait and see what happens for now.

Anyways I don't really do much throughout my day, unless it's a quiet day, though days always are fun. Something unexpected happens, very fun ya know. But today not one of those days, it's a normal day, in other words very boring! Indeed it is.

I was supposed to be at the studying hall, but I didn't want to go. I mean I'm already past my level, I'm far to smart for this stuff, so I skip, ya know.

"Your highness!" A servant shouted, "There's an assassin after you! Protect his highness!"

The guards surrounded me, as each one was killed. The mysterious man took his sword and slash a wound, not deep enough to kill me though.

"Bloody bastard, You should rot in hell," I said.

"Well. Better than living in this world, with you." The man replied before slicing his neck killing him.

"Your highness we were too late!" The guards spoke.

These guys are under my big brother Chin, he doesn't give a crap about me except for the fact he needs me alive, for what? I have no idea about my self.

"It's nothing big," I replied.

"Call the doctor now." A servant said.

I was carried back to my palace, as the doctor heals me, "Her majesty the empress arrives!"

This woman, I hate the most out of all of them, simply cause...That I'll explain later as well when I'm not in this terrible condition I am right now.

"Greetings to your majesty," I spoke softly.

She gazed at me, man if I was anyone else I would have the shivers and terrified for the rest of my life! But I'm not, hello! I'm the main character, I can't die yet! Not to this weak women, not to say all women are weak, most are scary indeed! Like my big sister!

"You were attacked, You haven't even informed his majesty of this? Why would you dare not!" She shouted.

"I don't want his majesty, to be bothered by such a petty matter, I'll live, and I have people already investigating this matter, there is no need for the empress to get involved in such a matter as this." I replied softly "And his majesty probably getting informed as we speak, there's no need for frantic worry."

She glared at me, "You are indeed a prince who does not conduct yourself with anything, all the things you've been granted and your not greedy and considering all you've been through you still dare show mercy to people, this will be your end. Prince, your great end!"

"Your majesty...There is..nothing wrong with what happened, I will let it go, I'm tired. Please..let me rest..ya..know." I replied softly.

"Very well." She replied.

She left, as the old man came out, "You dare not tell me anything anymore? Why is that?"

"Perhaps I don't know my self, Dear Father." I replied "I wasn't lying when I said that, or when I said I was tired. You should be careful of her, and her son, that is not yours."

My eyes closed, "What son?"

"You will know when the time comes, father, you will know, and your love for her will forever deep out of existence." I replied, "I also think I'm losing my vision far faster then I think, I should, or was told."

"Hikaru, You speak like your mother more and more every day and that's what confuses me the most about you, my dear son." The old man replied.

"Beware, Of the one who will seek your death, be careful of all that's around you, from now one," I recited "Don't take this matter any lightly then a revolution, that shall come two years from now, all shall come and tear this empire apart from the inside out, one woman shall do this, for revenge. You have been warned."

The old man left, as I sighed, see my power is to predict the future, but the problem is they come in prophecies, so some of them make no sense till it is for filling. That's what the scary part is.

Two days later, my birthday, June 17, in the year 1202, I am officially 17 this morning.

I shall have a wife for me this evening, most likely a princess, for political terms as such.

"My lord, you have arrived." Her delicate voice spoke.

"May I know your name?" I asked with a cold tone.

"Soma Akio." She replied.

"Ah, the fifth princess of Wen empire south of us, daughter of there only empress." I replied, "I see, well since you have nothing I like, I'll be leaving now, you can rest easy if it must have been a long journey."
