Chapter 11: Black Straw Hat

After making the decisions with the Royal squad leaders, Ivan just went to meet Aarush where they kept him inside the investigation room for two hours. 

The investigation room was made by special mana and spirit force so the enemy can't enter inside the room to save their team member.  

The Raiders are a team member against the Royal rules and they workshop Demon King. They believe only the strongest members can live in this life peacefully and the weakest members need to die. 

They are people who don't care about others' lives or their lives. Their only motive is to bring their Demon King to this world. 

When they started the fight it seemed to be that they were weak. But once they started their attack in the Royal place, countless members of people just lost their lives to them, because of their captain Feron the demon tamper. 

From that day onwards the Royal squad started to gather their strongest warriors, assassins, beast tamer, summoners, magicians, healers, and even anti-magicians. 

Before the attack, there are only a few members of beast tamers, summoners, and anti-magicians in the squad. 

But when the warriors and mages lose their lives.

 The kingdom concluded and gathered the remaining people and with the help of Warlock and Warlord, they started to fight and won against the "Demon Raiders" and Captain Feron lost to them. 

"But it has been a long time since they attacked. At the time of war only Feron we're able to control the black demon beast.

 After that great loss, it had been so many years, and once again they started to attack our kingdom, this time what they were planning. " These are thoughts of the Warlock Ivan. 

Are you thinking about sustaining it? You seem to be so fractured. Don't think too much you can't always win the war. When it's your time you need to quiet and when it's time you need to fight with your full strength.

 So, don't worry we can find the answers today from the Raiders whom they are going to send for their sacrifice for the ceremony. 

After all, they can't escape when we are there. 

These are the words of Warlord Lisa. She accompanied the warlock while meeting Aarush in the investigation room. 

Lilith sensed the strong Mana presents so he altered Aarush to have a low profile about him. 

Then, when they both went to the room. 

Aarush is just sitting at this chair and playing with his black cat, Lilith.

"It's the nice cat Aarush". Warlord Lisa said to him. 

"Yes, it is so beautiful and its eyes glow so beautifully." 

"So you're the boy, I need to know the truth about Aarush from your mouth. 

How were you able to survive inside the Doom forest for such a long time??  ", Warlock asked the question to Aarush. 

He just replied," I don't know, after the blast, I collapsed, and when I woke up after the blast.  I was lost from my group and I went inside the forest there only I found this cat. "

Aarush, don't tell anything more than this that is enough for now. Just tell them, "when I was inside the forest I found this black cat roaming inside and I  gave my food to it. Then, it showed me the way and I followed it and found the cave to hide there. Then he went to sleep mode.  "Red told Aarush to say things that he said. 

Aarush just followed and said the same things. 

When Warlock and Warlord came inside the room. Red and Lilith we're able to say, something is wrong with both of them. 

Just as they both thought that Ivan just made the spell while Lisa was distracting Aarush. It is a spell to find the lie if he lies when the spell is applied. 

He will get ten backlashes. But Red was able to find it out quickly and then he made the barrier against the spell to help Aarush.

 When Red learned about Aura he came to learn how to surpass the powers and he learned how to spell the enchantment for it. 

 So he was able to help him but it was his first life in time using Aura spells so he lost his power and he went to his sleeping mode.  

So the warlord said, ``So you're we're telling us you were lucky to survive in the forest with help of this black cat. "

It's good to know that at least you were safe. It made me happy. Are you thinking those two kids would be able to survive like you?  

I can't tell for sure. But I am thinking if they survive it will be nice. 

"To tell the truth, I don't want to see them back in my life but now they vanish after the attack near the Doom forest. If they would also survive like me it would be nice. " These are the thoughts that were going inside his mind. 

Then warlock Ivan said, "  It seems today is not their day. We have sent some of our searching squad here to look out for those two boys  " 

"Today, you came here to attend your ceremony. Am I right Aarush? " Warlord Lisa asked him.

He just replied, "Yes, I came here to attend the ceremony".

"So it's nice to know. Today is your lucky day because every  Royal squad captain has come here to watch the ceremony. So you can go now. If we get any details about those two kids we will inform your village leader.

 So you don't need to worry about them and just get the strongest weapon or strongest magic in the ceremony. We need some people like you in our  "Royal squad". "  When Aarush said then, Warlock Ivan just told him.

Aarush thought he gave him the chance and time to get out of the room. Then he left the room with his black cat Lilith. 

Lilith just went out and he went to see his teammates and village leader. 

In the way he went through, there was the boy who was waiting next to the fountain for someone. 

He seems to be very suspicious by covering his face with a black straw cat and covering half of his face with black cloth. 

His mouth, ears, and nose were covered except for his eyes. He was waiting there for someone. But the way he looked seemed to be so suspicious. 

Few people were near the fountain and they started to whisper to themself, "It seems what they said was true. It is him.

What are you asking? It can't be him. 

 It's him, he is one. The grandson of Archmage. 

What seriously are you telling me he is the Archmage grandson. 

There is no way.

" What were you guys speaking about? ", Aarush just asked the two boys. Who they were speaking of so highly.

 It seems you don't know that today our kingdom's princess and Grandson of Archmage made it here to attend the

ceremony to know their level of power. 

It's just the show for us after all if we are lucky we can get in the same class as them. But we don't have many chances for that. 

Archmage could have already started his studies in magic and we are just going to study it now. 

The princess will be in the warrior class and her spirit strength can't be compared to anyone here. 

We are all just ants compared to them. 

"So, it's you all who speaks so highly of the Archmage Grandson", the voices came out from the crowd, 

It's the boy who seems to be so high and has a gigantic figure. 

He said," Are you thinking you can just pass this ceremony like this? I won't. 

Just see I will be the one who is going to get the greater power and I am the one who  I am going to study with the princess and he will feel for me. Did you hear my stepbrother? 

 Don't forget your position, you're not from my family but my grandpa just took you as a student. 

The day will come when that old bastard will learn that I am his original grandson

. Only I can fill his position then if one day I become stronger, I will punish him every day and make him regret the mistakes he took in his days.

He just said that then the boy who is wearing the black straw hat just captured the person, with his ice magic he freed his hands and legs and made the weather for him alone get cold. 

Then he said, ``Look Third, you can speak ill about me or princess how you are going to make him fall for you. But don't ever speak ill about my Grandpa. I will kill you even without hesitation. From now on, learn to give respect to our elders "
