Combat Ensues 2

Veronica's Perspective -

A vice warden? At least he isn't the head honcho so I must stand somewhat of a chance. He didn't look too tough. He dawned the same golden pallet of the average Victorian. He wasn't that built, but it was as if he streamlined his physical training for a more streamlined build. He wasn't armed and he didn't even have the standard issue armor for the guards here. He was simply a man unarmed and unarmored. Of course, he had vector, but my reaction speed should be more than enough.

I took a deep breath and braised myself for combat. I have to be reactive because my speed isn't enough to actually hit him. I must counterattack when the opportunity arrives. The best course of action was for me to provoke him.

"So, are you gonna attack or what?"

"Sorry I was just analyzing your equipment."

"All you have on you is a pair of electro gauntlets."

He already knew my weapon with a mere glance. I didn't even activate it or use it yet. Well, whatever, so what if he knows what weapon I'm using. It's not gonna stop me from giving it my all and helping Viola out.

"Welp enough staring."

The warden immediately vectored towards me after saying that. He went in for a solid flying kick. He probably doesn't expect me to even be able to see him moving. This is my advantage. His underestimation. As he's about to make contact with the kick I grab his leg and redirect the kick to my left and go in for an elbow to his face as he's flying leftward. The force of the hit left him flipping in the air. I use this time to punch him in the back with my electro gauntlets turned on. The electricity started flying through the air. This startled me. This gave him the opportunity to capitalize.

He vectors back towards me while i was in shock and knee'd me in my stomach. I immediately felt nauseous. The extreme urge to vomit consumed me. He wouldn't even give me the chance to vomit. He grabbed my hair not letting the force of his attack let me fly away. He then knee'd me again, and again, and again. He hit with one more final knee. Sending my flying into a wall.

As my body slid against the wall the only thoughts that appeared in my head were those of futility. I can't win. He's too strong. How could I possibly win? How can I win?

Suddenly It was as if the universe itself shined upon me a sign. As I turned my head to the left, I could see it. A cell with a bearded Victorian with in it. Viola's father. If I can't beat this guy. The Big Papi V can. I have no idea why I thought that. I have no Idea why I knew which cell he was in precisely. All I know is I must get him out of there.

I felt euphoric in a sense. Maybe it was the joy of finding salvation. Who knows? I got up from the floor and took off one of my electro gauntlets off. I turned them on and proceeded to run towards the cell. Vice warden Vecken immediately used vector to give chase. He caught up to me, so I turned around and got ready to counterattack. He went in for a punch which completely broke my nose and then he kicked me in the rib and shattered them. This however did not in fact happen. It felt real. It seemed like it could happen.

As I turned around and braised myself for a counterattack, he threw the exact same punch. I reacted and slapped it away. I then kicked him in the ribs. It barely had an effect.

"Is that all you have?"

"That was absolutely pathetic."

Yes, that over estimation will be your downfall. I threw my gauntlet on him electrocuting his body. I then tore off a piece of my skirt and tied the gauntlet down on him to keep him stunned. I then sprinted towards the cell. I maxed out my electro gauntlet's output and slapped the pad that kept the cells running.

The laser cell bars fade away.

"Viola sent me to save you."

After mustering those words out my head began to ache. It was an intense migraine. The pain was so severe I passed out.

Viola's Dad's Perspective-

It would seem Viola's finally found a piece of the puzzle I gave her. No one who isn't worth protecting wouldn't go through this much trouble to help her out. Yes perfection. It would seem the bloody warden is still up and kicking. He took off what seemed to be an electro gauntlet off his body. Pretty clever trick the lass pulled I must say. Not enough to keep an elite Victorian incapacitated, however. The guard took got the gauntlet off of him and looked at the girl with sheer rage. What kind of dad would let his daughter's friend get bullied.

I immediately vector towards the guard. Using my velocity to increase power I went in for a punch. He raised his arms to block the blow. As if that would be enough to stop me. The scourge of the Andro Galaxy. Both of the guard's arms were broken and the punch sent him flying into a wall. It wasn't enough to take him out however. As soon as his back hit the wall, he vectored towards me in rage and began spinning to increase the power of a kick. Pretty common technique for us Victorians. The more we move and the longer we move the more powerful the end result so spinning mid travel can lower how far we travel and result in more power being built up. Of course, I would know I invented it. He attempted to kick me in my chest. Before he could even make contact, I vectored my finger to stop him. I then rotated my other hand and went in for a punch. Now that's how you do a spiral kid. It completely decimated the poor guy. He was only doin his job. Oh well, his job got in my way.

Now for the lass that helped me out. I walked over to the white haired, crimson eyed girl and began looking at the damage. As I was looking at the damage, I heard footsteps approaching the cell facility. As I turned around to look at the entrance, I got a glimpse of a familiar face. It was me daughter Viola. She had the most worried look in her eye. She wasn't looking at me but her friend on the floor. This made me smile with pride.

"It would seem you've taken a massive step to becoming the perfect warrior."
