- "But I will not join the "Sharp Visors"." - Victor added, stubbing out his cigarette.
- "Why? This will give you a huge advantage," Thomas replied, surprised that he refused.
Victor already had a plan of action in his head that he had conceived since he received the system. There was no point for him to join this gang. Moreover, he already has people around him and he does not intend to force them to work for someone else.
- "Because I have a different goal in life." - Victor replied, and stood up to look around at everyone: - "So I'm a younger brother now?"
- "Em.. Probably yes?" - John said uncertainly.
- "Oh...Okay." Victor replied, seeing that he still looks traumatized after the incident.
Arthur, who was sitting up, grabbed the bottle and walked up to Victor, patting him on the back. He still felt a little awkward, since he had another brother, but he had already decided that he was going to make their relationship less tense.
- "Come on, Victor. We need to properly introduce you to the rest of the guys in the pub so that everyone knows that you are now one of us." - said Arthur, about to open the door, when he was stopped by a voice from behind.
- "I also forgot to clarify that I will not change my last name." - said Victor, which made everyone look at him strangely: - "This.. It's the only thing left of my mother."
- "Okay.. I think you're right.. Thomas answered him on the shoulder and led him into the main hall of the pub.

[Victor's POV]
Time passed slowly. It would seem that only yesterday I saw my so-called relatives from the Shelby family, as a month has already passed. But time does not stand still, and life moves forward.
During this time, oddly enough, we began to get along, especially Polly, who for some reason recently began to behave like a mother. In the truest sense of the word. I don't know what this is connected with, but she watches me too closely, sometimes it seems that my every movement is completely controlled by her.
"Where were you yesterday? We had a family meeting and everyone waited for you for almost an hour, but you never showed up, how do you explain it?" Polly asked, who was pacing up and down the house.
If Emilia had seen this situation, I thought she would have obviously made a scandal with this woman to protect me, but who knew that this traitor would agree with every word Polly said.
- "I have the same question, Victor. Where the hell were you last night that you only came today?" Emilia asked, leaning back in her chair, exposing her legs.
It's starting to strain me to some extent, but I can't be rude to women. Especially seeing how they take care of you.
Taking a cigarette out of my pocket, twirling it slightly, I said after a little thought: "Polly, didn't I say that Emilia has an aunt?"
- "Yes, I did, and what do you mean by that?" - asked the woman sitting down at the table, turning to me with a stern face.
Emilia, who was sitting on a chair, also looked at me with a questioning look. She was also wondering what her aunt had done that Victor had disappeared for the whole night without even bothering to warn her about it.
- "Amy, you know that your parents had several factories in Birmingham, right?" I asked her, but I didn't stop: "The problem is that this woman finally decided to carry out her plan."
- "I know about factories.. But what do you mean about the plan?" Emilia asked, clearly confused by my words.
I can't even imagine how to explain it to her so that it doesn't hurt her feelings too much. But sooner or later she will have to find out about it.
- "Amy.. This woman agreed.. To take you under my care because of your parents' money." - I said looking at the girl in front of me.
There were different options in my head for how the girl would react. There was only one relative left in her life, and that was Elizabeth Johnson, but also one who had ulterior motives against her niece. To say that not the most pleasant relatives is an understatement.
"Is that a reason not to tell me where you are?" The girl asked, clearly ignoring what I said.
* Sigh*
I think all my so-called variants of events that should have been expected were completely meaningless. Still, I needlessly worried about this.
*Knock* *Knock*
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door several times, which caused everyone to pay attention to the door. I already guessed who had come, so I got up and headed for the door. When I opened it, I saw Oscar, with a folder in his hands.
- "Come in.." I said, letting him in.
- "Victor, all the documents are now officially issued. Here it remains only to leave your signatures and everything will be ready." - said Oscar putting a folder on the table and took out some papers.
Seeing a bunch of documents with seals in front of her, Polly took a few and read them. Her look was a little strange, but I guessed what she was thinking at that moment. When she put the documents on the table, she turned to me.
- "Do you know how much it will cost?" She asked in a slightly raised tone.
Instead of answering her, I took the sheets of documents and carefully read each form. There was a right to the ownership of factories. Although the factories were abandoned, they were still useful. Taking a pen out of my pocket, I approached Emilia.
- "Amy, all you have to do is sign the papers." - I said, handing everything over to Emily.
She looked at me, and then at the pile of sheets in her hand. Then, a little hesitantly, she took them in her hands to sign them without even looking at what was written there.
Oscar, who was standing on the sidelines, was shocked by this action and could not help but ask: "Victor, are you sure about this?"
"It belongs to her by right." I replied, not paying attention to the noisy Oscar.
...
...
It was late at night. Several people were standing inside a large abandoned building. Broken windows, a huge pile of garbage, in simple words, a complete mess.
Due to the fact that all the windows were broken, the wind penetrated inside without any problems, which is why my black hair was now in a complete mess.
- "So guys.." - turning my head back, I looked at Noah and Oscar: - "This building will be the first task on our list."
Holding a three-dimensional drawing in my hand, I looked around the entire factory. Now that this factory belongs to me, I will finally be able to do what I have planned.
When the system offered me the idea of the mafia, a banal idea was born in my head. Create a hotel called "Continental". It may seem silly to people from my past world, but here I want to create something special.
I want to create a place where, at the mention of which, people will be afraid to even say it.
- "I still think that the idea of transferring all the right to Emilia's property was an ambiguous decision." - Oscar replied, still not understanding my reason for this action.
* Sigh*
- "Oscar, you must understand that what belongs to me belongs to her," I replied, looking at him with a twinkle in my eyes, but then going up to him continued: - "Hold the drawing and do everything as indicated here. And try to do everything as quickly as possible"
Looking at the drawing from the side, Noah's eyes lit up at that moment: - "Hotel Continental". It l-looks interesting."
I see that many did not understand the meaning of Victor's words.. He didn't leave Emilia in Shelby's care, he meant that if something happened to her because of them, they would have a conflict. He will have connections with Shelby as they will be valuable allies for his Romanov family in the future.
