Chapter 21

Carnage easily caught the Batarang, but on touch, it exploded, throwing me many meters back. Before he could regain his balance, Batgirl shot toward him, aiming a punch at his face.

The punch successfully connected but no damage was done. Seeing this, Batgirl did a series of backflip to gain distance before reaching for her utility belt and throwing three Saw-Tooth Batarang at Carnage.

With purple lightning, Carnage appeared behind Batgirl, grabbed her head, and slammed it down on the floor, causing her to screen in pain and breaking her nose.

"You caught me off guard, but not again." He said, before going to stomp on Batgirl's back using his right leg. "Now, shall we end your entire career?"

Carnage stepped on her back with his left before bending down to grab both her hands and started pulling back. Batgirl struggled to get her hands free from his grip but to no avail. Seeing her struggle, he pulled back more, causing her to scream in agony as her back was bent to an unnatural degree, even for her.

Carnage didn't stop there and kept pulling back on her hands, his left leg still on her back, till a loud crack was heard, making Batgirl scream even louder.

"Your scream is like music to my ear." Carnage said before letting go of her hand and turned toward the stairs. "You will live the rest of your life, unable to use your legs. How do you like that?'

He then looked at the bank Vault and seeing that he couldn't open the bank and was strong enough to break through it, Carnage decided to just steal the rest of the money not in the vault before remembering something.

"Felicia is a hacker, why didn't I just tell her to hack others' virtual account and transfer it to mine? This was a waste of time." He said out loud before zooming out of the bank with a purple streak, running past Robin as Tim Drake and Nightwing who just entered the bank.

Seeing the purple blur pass by, Robin thought, 'Barbara, please be alright.' Increasing his running speed to the basement of the bank where he remembers the signal for backup coming from.

-Rick POV-

"I need you to transfer money into my card using your hacking skill." I said, looking at Felicia who typing at her computer

"Um, why do you need money?" She asked, pushing up her glasses, "You can get anything you want by stealing it."

"Why do you need to do jobs to get money? You can hack and get however much you want by hacking." I said, looking at the news playing at one of her three computers which said, "Carnage struck again killing 81 peoples at the bank."

"Unlike you who can move at Mach speed, I am a normal human with just perfect memory." Felicia said, as she picked up a watch, threw it at me, then continued typing. "You can now see the time, date, the speed you are moving at. I also made it that you can contact me without coming here. By the way, it looks, you will be asking a lot of things from me. It has a voice command installed into it so you won't have to look at the watch while running. It has a voice and facial recognition system so people won't steal it... if they can."

I took the watch and looked at it. It resembles a digital wristwatch but its faceplate is now square instead of round and has a black, purple, and white color scheme. The faceplate was black with nothing on it.

"Hmm, this doesn't look like the Rolex I gave you." I said, looking at the watch.

"That watch didn't fit what you wanted me to do with it so I order a different watch. If you want the diamond Rolex, it in that box on the shelf that says, 'Useless things." Felicia said pushing up her glasses and then continued typing.

I put on the watch and a red light shot out and scanned my face before the faceplate started showing the time in digital form and the date.

"I have transferred 100 million into your account. If you want more, tell me." She said, yawning. "Haven't sleep in for 3 days. Too many requests."

"You are pretty good at science..." I said, looking at her. "Do you want to join me? Become part of team Carnage?"

"Na. If I join you, I will be the arch-enemy of the Bat-family. Don't want that." Felicia says, shaking her head.

'Oh well Shall I see how fast I can go?' I thought, purple lightning appearing around my body before zooming out of the room.
