Wild Suspicions

After yuki entered his room's bath, he started thinking about all the things that had happened so far since he died in his past life. He realized everything about him, whether mannerism, behavior or even his laughter, they were all the same as the past yuki. He had also started adapting to his new identity as Yukiharu Akio and has accepted the past yuki.

"System, do you have any idea why our mannerisms are the same? I mean practically everything about us is the same am I right?" asked while joking. He was expecting an answer but unexpectedly the system kept quiet without replying which yuki found strange. "Host has unlocked new abilities; one combat technique and one movement techniques. Would host like view it now?" asked the system which surprised yuki as it changed the subject thoroughly without even giving a bit of explanation, hell it didn't even offer an excuse. "What about what I asked?" asked yuki not giving up.

The system still didn't reply and yuki asked again, when yuki decided to give up the system finally replied "host does not have access to this information yet" but yuki detected an emotion hidden within, that the system tried to hide. Yuki realized the system he had was not a normal system the type he read in mangas and he just got more intrigued though all this sealed abilities and information got on his nerves. Seeing it was also part of the information he couldn't have access to until he grew stronger, his desire to grow stronger just increased.

"Show me the abilities I just got then" said yuki given up on the subject. "A palm strike called vanishing palm technique and a movement technique called vanishing movement technique but they are both in their beginning phase and will improve as host grows stronger" explained the system. "Yuki decided to try both of them out later the next day as he was still bothered with all this secrecy. His instincts were telling him there was more to it than he could see.

After leaving the bath, as yuki was physically and mentally tired he decided to have his food in his room and told the butler infront of his room to get it delivered.

Knock knock "Yuki can I come in?" said someone moments later after he ordered the butler to bring his food but he immediately knew it was his mother with her sweet voice. "Mother, why are you here?" asked yuki as he opened the door but he immediately knew why as he saw her holding a plate with food on it. "Yuki why didn't you join us in dinner and request for your food to be brought to your room?" asked his mother with concern written all over her face. "Nothing mother, I'm just tired from today's training" he said not elaborating about it, he didn't want his mother to get worried but his mother already heard about it when shadow came to seek his father. "I heard you fought shadow today for more than five hours, what are you up to, don't you know you're still recovering?" reprimanded his mother with a loud voice. Seeing as she had already heard about it, he could only smile wryly and assure his mother. "Mother I'm fine, I'm not that weak, as you and father's son how could I act so weak and let a little mishap stop me from training" said yuki trying to assure his mother. But when he said the part about being her and his father's son, her face wrinkled up a little bit which immediately disappeared, it appeared so fast he almost didn't notice. Seeing this scene happen before him, he couldn't help but think back to when he mentioned his resemblance to the former yuki. He thought his mother knew he was not the original yuki or knew something about his reincarnation but little did he know he was very far from guessing her reason for quieting down. "Okay son just enjoy your dinner, I'll send a servant to come and retrieve the plate" said his mother hurrying to leave the room which just intensified yuki's suspicion. Perceiving the aroma of the food, yuki but all that at the back of his mind and decided to just enjoy his dinner.
