Milo was being violently shaken by Merlin, who was gripping his collar like a madman.
Out of nowhere, a knee jerked into Merlin's stomach.
Merlin released his grip as the blow landed, clutching his stomach in pain and staggering away.
"You …" His chest heaving, he pointed at Milo.
"Yes, I kicked you right where it hurts," Milo said coldly. "Who said you could talk to me like that?"
Merlin had injured his ribs and abdomen on a roller coaster in the past and had not fully recovered, so a blow to his old wound was still painful.
To his surprise, Milo's line of attack …
Merlin didn't argue anymore, instead, after taking a couple of breaths, he turned his attention to Tutu, who was sitting fallen on the ground.
"Tutu, how are you?" He knelt down to check on her, and when he saw that her elbow was broken, his eyes moistened immediately.
"Tutu, here, take this," he offered her a pill. "It's a strong painkiller. It should help you for a while."
