Chapter 168: Ill-intentioned People Come, Well-intentioned People Do Not

After sitting awhile and having a drink, the young master of the Clegg family got restless.

Shawn Clegg always had a rebellious streak. Whatever he was told not to do, that's exactly what he wanted to do.

He didn't understand why he couldn't tell Victoria that he was going to do a paternity test with the baby. He didn't believe that Victoria would be disturbed by this news.

Above all, he wished Victoria already went with him to get the results.

He wanted to tell Victoria that they had truly been together, and he wanted to see if this information would have cause Victoria to reconsider their relationship.

This was what was in his heart.

Hank Clegg was right.

He had always been too afraid to face his true feelings.

He couldn't leave Victoria behind, and he didn't want to let her go either.

If he let her go, then someone else would take his place.
