The small cafe was in a quiet corner of the city, the place felt like a very odd place for a meeting with someone as more calculating as Lila Montgomery.
Nora sat at a table near the window, her hands was holding a cup of coffee. She looked at the entrance very nervously.
Moments later, Lila walked in, her heels was sounding sharply on the tiled floor.
She was dressed perfectly as always, her sharp eyes was scanning the room before they actually landed on Nora.
"Miss Hayes, You look so... tense."
Lila greeted with a small smile as she slid into the seat opposite from her.
"Can we skip the small talk? I need answers, not greetings." Nora asked, her tone was firm.
