The rain was falling on the tall windows of Black Industries. Ethan sat at his desk, he was thinking about a whole lot of things in his mind.
Lucas was standing very close, his laptop opened, showing a file that Ethan had been looking at for the past ten minutes.
"This is definitive, Funds from Project Hayes were funneled into some offshore accounts under Henry's supervision and that is not all, these accounts were also tied to some hush payments." Lucas said, breaking the silence.
"Hush payments?" Ethan said as his jaw clenched, his voice was low but very sharp.
"It lines up. These payments really relate with the timing of many whistleblowers suddenly going silent. It is possible that Henry used these funds to keep people quiet, including Nora's parents." Lucas said.
