Intermediate Mage

[Mark of Fenrir

Effects:

Increases Magic Cultivation (Heaven Grade) (99%)

Armour Regeneration

Passive Cultivation {Evolvable}

Magic Nullification]

[Increase Magic Cultivation: The fatigue due to cultivation would be cured, allowing more time to practice.]

[Armour Regeneration: If the armour is damaged, it would be repaired instantly at the cost of Soul Essence.]

[Passive Cultivation: Recovers the lost mana after usage passively, while allowing the user to passively cultivate when not in a state of meditation.]

[Magic Nullification: Using Soul Remnants and Essences to nullify any kind of magic directed at the host, imbuing the armour with anti-magic properties.]

"Damn..."

Looking at the new features his Mark of Fenrir had provided, that's all Damon could mutter. He was too speechless to say anything else as he looked at the description.

"That's fucking overpowered."

Reading the descriptions one by one, Damon's heart beat with excitement.

After the consumption of the underground holy spring, the Mark of Fenrir jumped to the Heaven Rank, skipping the Soul Grade completely.

The new mark provided him with new abilities and had unlocked new features. Armour Regeneration: if something ever happened to the armour, it could automatically be repaired with just the consumption of Soul Essences.

'But I doubt I would ever need this function...' The armour was made of the bones of Fenrir, which, according to the system's description, was at least an Emperor Rank creature. Damon doubted he would ever need this feature unless he battled with Emperors.

The next feature was Passive Cultivation. Reading its description, Damon couldn't help but frown.

In a novel, when Mo Fan first upgraded his little loach to Spirit Grade, this option was first introduced. When Damon's own mark upgraded to Spirit Level, he was quite disappointed that he didn't unlock this feature. But now, he finally had it for himself.

The mark now allowed Damon to recover his mana passively, even in the middle of fights, which was honestly a boon for mages focused on fighting. This also allowed Damon to cultivate passively without needing to meditate.

The quality of the cultivation would be relatively slower compared to the state of meditation.

'But still, passive cultivation is the greatest cheat I could gain at the moment.'

Being able to passively cultivate would save Damon time in ranking up his cultivation, allowing him to give more time to other important things like control and training.

But above the feature of Passive Cultivation, Damon was more excited about the last feature he had received.

Magic Nullification.

Using a Soul Essence to activate this feature, Damon could temporarily enchant the Armour of Fenrir with anti-magic properties. With this, he could cut through magic and nullify it if he wished.

This was a life-saving feature for Damon. In the future, if he were attacked and had no capability to evade or defend himself, he could just activate this feature and protect himself from the incoming attacks.

The Armour of Fenrir, with anti-magic properties in Damon's hands, could become the best weapon against mages one could ask for. The only downside of this feature was the consumption of Soul Essences and Remnants based on the strength of the spell Damon wished to nullify.

Admiring his new armour and its features, Damon sat up straight. Stealing the underground holy spring was totally worth it, and now very little of the energy of the spring was left in Damon's hands.

"The energy left is very little..."

After upgrading little loach in the novel a considerable amount of energy of holy spring was retained but Damon's mark being superior required a lot of more amount of water resulting in retaining such little quantity of it.

Damon thought with a frown as he looked at the amount of water remaining, but his expression quickly turned into a smirk.

"But enough to upgrade me to Intermediate Rank."

Entering his spiritual mind, Damon observed the four Stardusts of his illuminating the dark void.

The purple, red, silver, and black Stardusts began to emit a strong, then weak, radiance.

A canopy of faint light was enveloping his four Stardusts on the outside, while inside, the Stardust blossomed a radiance that was about to break through the hazy light canopy.

The light canopy was like an eggshell, or a cocoon, holding energy capable of breaking through the shell. It seemed immovable under the attack of magic energy, yet a clear swelling was caused by the rummaging energy within. On his arm, the armour's radiance transferred into the power of Damon's Stardust. Its original emanation had turned into a sudden condensation.

Just like many small rivers converging into a great river, the once-quiet great river suddenly rushed forth. The surging wave ferociously smashed into the dam across the river!

"Break!"

Cracks finally emerged on the outer shell. The light grew weaker, no longer like a distant star, and it looked as if it were about to disappear into the dark night.

At this moment, Damon suddenly opened his eyes.

His pupils expanded inhumanly. In his eyes was an endless universe, and in the deepest depths were his dimming Lightning, Fire, Space, and Shadow Stardusts.

His pupils widened, and Damon's entire being trembled.

The four deathly still Stardusts suddenly burst out with an incredibly hot radiance, flooding his entire spiritual universe at an incredible speed.

The purple was so gorgeous that it brightened the entire star universe, beautiful and stunning.

The fiery red ignited the darkness, sparkling and surging, while the silver and black shone with equal intensity.

Their flight and their shrouds looked as though they were creating their own little universes, their own star homes.

The 7 stars that originally floated all alone now were accompanied by another 42 stars within the nebula. As the dense celestial clouds radiated otherworldy aura.

However, what was created was no longer the small Stardusts that had once sat in one corner of the universe. Damon had created a star cluster like a cloud, condensed into a dense cluster, reflecting upon one another!

Intermediate Mage! Damon had finally reached the Intermediate Rank!

{A/N: First of all thanks for reading, secondly most of you would be curious about the passive Cultivation and how much percentage of boost it gives, honestly the thing wasn't mentioned in the novel in the numbers so I can't give you absolute figures and for my novel also I would like to refrain from dwelling into that so I can control the growth of mc with my pace rather than messing up in the future when the numbers doesn't add up}

Edit: I had a question for you all. Which summoned beast would you like?

No wolf and dragon please. I know would makes sense as he owns mark of Fenrir and is cool but I have another plans for wolf so please others.

Bird type beast

Lion

Tiger

Horse

Leviathan: A large water type beast, Shadow, space and water element. Grows to extreme size and found deep in oceans. Inspiration: Baxia and Little purple (Shark) both of Zhao Manyans, both are extremely strong and weird that's why Damon may not hunt for them but he can have oc beast like them if his own
