"Sir, we can arrange a better quality awakening stone. There is no need for you to use these ones."

Evan, the one handling everything for Crown Group in Crown's Domain and holding the highest position just below Damon in the group's ranking, couldn't help but say this as he handed Damon the awakening stone.

Like Ye Chen in China, Damon had recruited many individuals from all over the world and provided them with wealth, power, and positions within the group to have them work under him.

Evan was one of these recruits, known for his exceptional management talent. The man had just graduated from college when his mother fell ill. Having no father or relatives, it all fell on Evan's shoulders to pay her bills and take care of her. This lasted for a year until Damon recruited him, offering a job under one of the top executives of the newly formed Crown Group, changing both Evan's and his mother's lives.

For Evan, Damon's existence was nothing less than that of an angel sent by God who helped him during his darkest days. As a result, Evan was one of the most loyal members of the group.

"There is no need for that... I don't require any high-grade stones to awaken, nor do I have any preferences about which elements I wish to awaken," Damon replied calmly as he held the awakening stone in his hands. Evan could only sigh at Damon's response as he and his men took their leave.

Damon, if he wished, could use any high-grade awakening stones to awaken his powers, but they held no importance in his eyes.

An awakening stone is used by a magician to awaken their elements, either to become a mage or to gain additional elements when they advance in rank. The stones come in various grades, and some are attuned to specific elements to increase the chances of awakening a desired element. However, there is still a high chance that one might fail to awaken an element, even with a high-grade stone, due to the individual's natural talent and concentration.

For Damon, none of these concerns about the stones mattered, thanks to his system, which allowed him to awaken any element he wished with the highest possible talent. The only prerequisite was that he had to be in contact with the stone.

After three years of hard work, it was finally time for Damon to awaken his next elements. During those years, Damon had often wondered which elements he would awaken next, and now the time had come for him to make his choices.

Inside Damon's dark spiritual world, illuminated by the four glowing nebulas, a grey light suddenly shone as the stars of Chaos slowly manifested, surrounded by grey dust.

"Healing!"

Following the Stardust of Chaos, a bright lime-colored light suddenly illuminated another corner of the void, radiating a soothing, holy light.

"Summoning!"

Similar to before, a white-translucent Stardust made its appearance at the end.

Damon paused to admire the beauty of the three newly born Stardusts before turning his attention back to the system screen.

Chaos, the best element for defense and one of the most mysterious, with properties rivaling those of Space. The Healing element, for mending injuries and treating others. Although Damon might not need the Healing element for himself, as his Mark of Fenrir could heal him at the cost of a soul essence, he decided to awaken it regardless. He couldn't rely on the Mark for everything, and using the element would be more effective than turning to the Mark every time.

And if anything ever happened to someone he cared about, be it his team or someone else he wanted to heal, the Healing element would be invaluable, which is why Damon chose it as part of his intermediate set.

The third element, Summoning, would grant him the ability to summon beasts from different planes and form contracts with them. It was one of the best elements to have, offering excellent support and power based on the strength of the beasts he nurtured.

'Fiery Hetera and Apas… both are now secured with this element.'

These two overpowered beasts, which had become pillars of Mo Fan's strength, had joined him thanks to his Summoning element, and now Damon had the possibility of acquiring them as well.

Thinking about this, Damon couldn't help but grin wildly, though the grin quickly faded into a frown as he looked at the system screen with confusion.

"What should the next element be?"

Damon had planned which three elements to awaken, but he was in deep confusion about the fourth.

There were many options, but Damon already had the essential and strongest elements, covering all domains of magic.

"Should I awaken Earth? It's great for defense, but with Chaos and Space, there doesn't seem to be an immediate reason."

"Light is good, but only at super level with its spells… and as for Wind, it's also a good element."

"But among the primary elements, I think Ice and Water should take priority for the upcoming attack from the sea."

Damon's frown deepened as he rested his chin in his hand, contemplating his options.

Yes, Ice and Water could wait until his next rank, but Curse—being one of the strongest elements with the ability to affect the soul—couldn't be ignored.
