New World

"what's going on?" a devilishly handsome man sat on a dragon throne, looking around in confusion. his actions confused those in the throne room, they all straightened, awaiting their lord's words. 

"My lord, did something happen?" an old man with an eyepatch asked with a serious look while bowing slightly. the handsome young man stood there dumbfounded for some time while looking at the mouth of this old man.

"you're mouth... you're talking?" He was dumbfounded, confusing the old man with his lord's weird speech. standing up, the man looked at the other 4 people in the throne room with a stunned look... he could feel things, and smell things, and his eyesight was so sharp. he even felt unimaginable strength flowing through him at this moment,

'did everything turn into reality?' Thinking this, I tried calling open window, I tried to see if I could log out of the game or not, but nothing came. My weird actions only confused everyone else, making them grow uneasy at their lord's actions. in the end, I pinched myself, but all I felt was pain which wasn't... painful. I mean it hurt, but I could easily ignore it,

'It became real? does that mean they too became real.' thought touching my face, and feeling while it was changing. I could even feel the small bits of twitches, so many details, this couldn't be a game. this couldn't be a game, my senses were so sharp, I could sense not only everything in this throne room but outside

"Odin... tell me, who are you?" Turning around, I asked the man with the eyepatch old man, stunning him for a moment, but he stepped forward, bowing respectfully.

"My name is Odin Eyedragon, created by Lord Igneel. I was created to stand by my lord, be his right hand, and manage the Dragon Palace on his behalf, and also the leader of the floor guardian" Odin said respectfully, hearing this the black-haired man turned to look towards the other 4 in this world.

"Who are you," I asked, to which the Butler with hair slowly turning black stepped forward, giving me a respectful bow. he had on a butler outfitted, and although old he was handsome

"My name is Alfred Armstrong, created by Lord Igneel. I was created to be the leader of the maids and be my lord's personal assistant," he said with a bow, to which I nodded and looked toward the 3 maids

"I'm Ember Flameheart, created by Lord Igneel. I'm one of the 4 elite maids, I'm my lord's flame. ready to light the way or born all enemies to the ground." a beautiful, scarlet red-haired woman said softly. She was a beauty, a perfect figure that could make one's mouth water

"I'm Indira Thunderheart, created by lord Igneel. I'm one of the 4 elite maids, in charge of ensuring not only our lord's protection but everything in the palace is working smoothly." a beautiful lightning blue-haired woman said with a bow, her beauty rivaled Ember, but she seemed more lively.

"I'm Raven Shadowheart, created by lord Igneel. I'm one of the 4 elite maids, the lord's shadow." a black-haired woman, with an emotionless stone, almost like a robot. her beauty was not any less to the 2 other maids,

these 3 maids were part of the elite maids, they had one maid uniform with a unique touch to suit their element. Ember maid uniform was red, Indira's was lightning blue, and Raven's was black without a hint of white.

"My lord, is something wrong?" Odin asked, a worried look on his old face. I looked at him for a moment before speaking

"I'm unsure... Raven, go out and look outside the palace, the rest of out, call every floor guardian to the... first floor." I said to which Odin although had a confused look nodded. everyone felt to follow my orders, leaving me stunned

'so they could follow orders which the game would normally not allow them to be able to follow... I should go to the first floor before everyone.' thinking thing, I disappeared. this used to be a game world called YGGDRASIL. The game was shutting down, and I was waiting to be kicked out of the game. yet to think was brought to what seemed to be a new world.

YGGDRASIL was a DMMO-RPG released in 2126 by a Japanese developer. According to the developers' website, YGGDRASIL was a game of exploration and so many things were mysteries left unknown for players to discover on their own or in groups. It was a game where all you were told was the controls before being thrown into the deep end. In other words, the unique thing about YGGDRASIL was the incredible amount of freedom given to the players compared to any other DMMO-RPGs out there. 

YGGDRASIL required an exclusive console to play, which recorded logs for the week. Though the game was a complete virtual reality, it did not provide a sense of taste or smell and had a limited feeling of touch. Due to the lack of technology when the game was developed, facial expressions and artificial intelligence were not supported. However, there were statuses like hunger and thirst, which existed among players and the mounts they rode on in the game. 

The most distinctive feature of YGGDRASIL was its flexible system to allows players the freedom to make choices. Players could select from many races, jobs, and various tools, allowing for customization in the game. If a player were to use separately sold creator tools, they could freely alter the appearances of weapons, armor, interior data, character visuals, and advanced settings of their in-game persona or home. The customization system was far-reaching and broad, even allowing basic programming. 

Teleporting to the first floor, which was a city, that was over 25 km in all four directions, random spawns could be seen walking the city, normally they would have been mindless monsters... but they looked alive and self-aware. upon seeing me, they all bowed, paying their deepest respect to me.

"Greetings lord Dragon King," they said with worship in their eyes, some even having tears as if they saw their god. these were all random spawn monsters, but they were special as they were all of the dragon race. there were 3 types of NPC.

Spawned NPCs: Spawned NPCs are entities that are produced by the guild base. In other words, they pop up automatically from the dungeons. With a maximum level of 30, they have enough power to protect the stronghold. POPs don't need gold to summon but have maintenance costs depending on their type. It is zero for undead, but living creatures, in particular large creatures, had maintenance costs increasing proportionally to the size of their bodies and could rack up a ruinous maintenance bill for the guild. Nevertheless, they could spawn continuously at no cost after a fixed period of time is over. In contrast to Custom NPCs, Spawn NPCs have no player-made character settings and it isn't possible to change their appearances and AI programming.

Mercenary NPCs: Mercenary NPCs are entities that players could buy out through the use of YGGDRASIL gold. It could also be summoned by spending guild finances. some players hire them to make a team. They are vastly inferior to players in terms of AI or equipment. Before heading to unknown areas like a dungeon, players tend to hire NPC Mercenaries from towns.

Custom NPCs: If a Guild possessed a castle-grade guild base, the owning guild would be allowed 700 levels to be distributed between any number of NPCs they wanted. Because the highest level in YGGDRASIL was 100, by those stipulations, a guild could make 5 level 100 NPCs and 4 level 50 NPCs, or any combination thereof. They can be customized freely, with their power level depending on the overall limit of NPC data provided by dungeons or other means like in-game cash. When designing an original NPC, one could use customization tools for AI, levels, weaponry, and other equipment. This includes clothing and appearances too. As a result, one could create NPCs that were far stronger than the automatic spawns and place them in key locations. They are particularly made and then used as powerful guardians to safeguard the Guild Base. Of course, that doesn't mean every NPC had to be designed for battle anyway. A guild is totally free to customize its NPCs just for decoration purposes.

In YGGDRASIL, dragons were considered the strongest enemy race feared by players. Not only did they have powerful physical attacks, physical defense, and endless stamina, but they were also able to use numerous special abilities and magic. In fact, the central World Enemy of YGGDRASIL, the final boss, the Devourer of the Nine Worlds, was a great dragon that continuously tried to eat the remaining leaves of the World Tree.

Of course, to have something like a spawner that spawns a dragon was rare. but Igneel was special, normally dragons were not a playable race. Remember how I said the game told you nothing about the game and just threw you in it to explore for yourself? Igneel did just that, 

Igneel at first played as a human, but when he became a world champion for all 9 realms, he reached a hidden requirement, to gain the hidden racial class dragon. with this race, Igneel could instantly turn into it, but at the cost of returning to level 1 and starting all over again. he of course stood it, and as a dragon, he gained many rewards.

The Dragon Palace was one of such rewards, but it had a harsh limitation, only those of the dragon race could join the guild, and all NPC within the guild had to dragons. this led to Igneel being the only guild member within this guild, and for him to all over all types of Dragon-type NPC

In YGGDRASIL, there were only nine dungeons in the game which offered 3000 levels of NPC Data Storage. A city-based dungeon as the lowest-ranked guild headquarters provides only 700 levels to be shared between Custom NPCs. but the dragon Palaca gave Igneel 2,900, an extra which Igneel got later on.

World Champion is a special title and job class bestowed upon a selected few players in YGGDRASIL. There are only nine World Champions in total, one for each world. Asgard, Álfheim, Vanaheim, Niðavellir, Midgard, Jötunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Múspellsheim.

World Champion is a type of job class that one needs to clear various special conditions to use. Only the victor of the developer-sanctioned tournament could possess the class of World Champion. Moreover, the company will thereafter gift a special piece of equipment to the nine champions befitting their new class as their prize for winning it.

there once existed a World Champion of Múspellsheim who managed to turn himself into a World Enemy, one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Thus, his power grew into tremendous might to the point that he could fight evenly against thirty players by himself alone. 

Igneel looked at the many people below before he forced a smile and waved at them. this city was called the Draco City, it was easy to create as he copied from elsewhere and just printed. the sky you see above wasn't a real sky, it just reflected the real sky above,

it had many spawns which would spawn dragons of all types, they were each like mini-bosses, yes they were only level 30, but their strength, even more so when they were in their dragon's forms could reach level 45. adding their numbers, they were extremely troublesome to any party that entered this place.

This city was created by me when invaders attacked, they would meet with these guys. flying over to the center of the city, one would see a mansion surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. there one would find a greed-haired woman, this was the Arbol Dragonleaf the floor guardian of the first floor. She was a beauty on a level above the likes of Ember, and the other elite maids,

"My lord, what brings you to the first floor?" Arbol quickly greeted Igneel, although he was confused as to why her lord came here, she was more than happy to see his lord. since she knew this floor was special to him.

Arbol the guardian of the first floor was a life dragon, she was both a long-range fighter, an area effect attacker, and a healer. She was not the main fighter here, her 3 followers were, the earth dragon, the forest dragon, and the water dragon. these 3 along with Arbol made this first floor extremely annoying to deal with. 

"I have summoned all of the floor guardians here, something huge should have happened," I said calmly, to which Arbol nodded in understanding, 

"then lord, place come inside," Arbol said with a slight bow, I nodded slightly before going inside, while Arbol followed. I was on guard the whole time, but it seemed like it was for nothing as Arbol was indeed

'it seems like everyone is I programmed them to be... although, I don't remember making this mansion be able to be entered. now that I think about it, on the way here all of the buildings were real.' I thought while sitting down, looking at the house filled with plants, and many of Arbol's unique touches

"would you like something to drink? I have juice or even some tea. if you want something I don't have, I will rush to the store to get it." Arbol said with a gentle say, to which I thought for a moment, before shaking my head and having Arbol come to sit next to him. Arbol blushed slightly but did as I asked and came to sit next to me

"give me your hand," I said softly, to which Arbol did with a bright red face which I ignored, i took her hand and felt her heart beat. R-18 actions were considered to be strictly forbidden in DMMO-RPGs. Violators would be publicly listed on the game's official website, and their accounts would be deleted, or worse. Once the records of these R-18 actions were publicly released, they might be punished for damaging moral culture and thus violating the Social Order Maintenance Act. As such, most people would consider these acts off-limits.

'I can't log out, I can touch a person, and even smell things. either I'm being forcefully kept in a game, or that I have truly been brought to a new world.' I thought while letting her go, while Arbol faced the ground, too embarrassed to say anything. I looked at her for a moment, she was indeed a beauty, but I had no time to admire a beautiful goddess charm. 

"We seem to have been brought into a new world... well, let first await everyone's arrival," I said softly, to which Arbol just nodded. it didn't take long, other than Odin and Arbol, there were only 5 other guardians who all soon arrived.

Arbol seeing all of their arrivals got up and stood behind Odin, before they all moved at the same time, kneeling.

"the guardian of the first floor, Arbol Dragonleaf. I bow before the supreme one." Arbol said with a gentle smile

"The Guardian of the Second Floor, Hel Doomdragon. I bow before the supreme one." Hel, a black hair woman bowed with a slightly cocky smile. she was opposite to Arbol, whose smile could cause the plants to grow, her smile would kill them. he was death, pure and simple.

"the guardian of the 3rd floor. Aqua Seadragon. I bow before the supreme one." a woman with pure sky blue hair said with a bow, Aqua floor was special, it was completely water. don't think each floor was straight up, no it didn't work like that.

Starting from the first floor, one must make their way down to hell, then make their way up, where they would find themselves underwater, 

"the guardian of the 4th floor. Mout Dragon. I bow before the supreme one." Human Golem, the only one without intelligence of their own amongst those here spoke... honestly, I don't know why he was here.

Anyway, after clearly the 3rd floor, you make your way up a mountain, where you face this golem. it was currently in its human form, but in its dragon form, it was the size of a mountain, 

"the guardian of the 5th floor. Zeus Skydragon. I bow before the supreme one." a white-haired man, with a godly beard said while lowering his head. yes, I created him off someone else, creativity is hard. After the 4th floor, you would find yourself in the clouds where you would have to face Zeus

"The Guardian Of the 6th floor. Stella stardragon. I bow before the Supreme one" A blonde-haired woman said with a gentle bow. once the 5th floor is cleared, you go to space, where you have to face Stellal a star dragon.

"The Guardian Of the 7th Floor. Odin Eyedragon. I bow before the supreme one." Odin said softly. after clearing the 6th floor you enter a star, and within you find the dragon palace which you enter and have to make your way to the throne room.

along the way, there were of course many traps, and other NPC you have to deal with. Plus, the guild didn't have to play a lot for the spawners due to the unique guild, so there were a lot of dragon spawners on each floor along with many other NPC.

of course, behind these 7 guardians were the elite maids and Alfred, I looked at all of them for a moment before speaking.

"Have any of you seen anything... different on your floors?" I asked to which Odin turned back to look at everyone to see if they had anything to say, but no one had anything to say

"no, everything seems to be running perfectly," Odin said, making me frown deeply. they seem not to find it strange that the spawned NPC are acting normally,

"Then, you all feel nothing that has changed?" I asked, to which everyone looked at each other in confusion before they shook their head. I nodded slightly, before looking towards the door where Raven entered

"just in time, what do you have to report? is everything normal outside or what?" I asked to which Raven shook her head slightly, 

"The Dragon Palace which once stood proud on top of the tallest mountain is currently resting upon the ground within a forest. I looked around, and with my senses, I was able to find many things. but they all seemed to be simple animals or monsters without intelligence," Raven said, making everyone's eyebrow raise

"as expected, we seemed to have been brought to another world. Raven, leads a group skilled in stealth to search the area... in fact, Odin fo and join her and see if there is anything you can find. avoid fights, information is all we want." I said calmly, to which Odin nodded slightly

"as for the rest of you, be on high alert. until we know what is going on, you all should not let your guard down... also, minimize YGGDRASIL spending. although the guild income is enough, no risk for the time being." I said calmly, to which everyone nodded slightly.

"then go, report to me if anything remotely off happens. understood?" Igneel asked, to which Odin and Raven nodded with a serious look. nodding slightly, I left, leaving Odin kneeling there for a moment before he got up.

"We already shamed ourselves enough by not noticing the strange happening, returning to your floors, and making sure everything is as it should," Odin said seriously, looking towards Zeus above everyone else.

"w-what did I do? keep looking at me and you will need two eyepatches." Zeus said coldly, Odin one turn sharp.

"With the way you smell, it clear all you have been doing is rolling in bed with some woman, to dare appear here without taking the time to make yourself presentable," Odin said angrily, 

"It was sudden, how could I make my lord wait?" Zeus said, feeling wronged, he looked towards others for help, but all of the females stayed away from him. Zeus was a pervert which disgusted them all, so why would they bother to try and defend him?

"Our lord... created us all, while other guilds had 100s of members to take care of it. or lord alone did everything all by himself. I will not let you bring shame to his hard work, I will kill you if I have to." Odin said seriously, Zeus opened and closed his mouth for a moment before lowering his head

"it would not happen again," he said with a sigh, Odin said nothing more and left, with all of the others leaving as well to go over everything on their floor. yes, each floor was huge, but they were all dragons, and their senses were sharp.
