Three continental competition (5)

Leon had Zen bring him to the World tree again.

"It's been around a day. The leader should be getting tired now." Leon thought as he had Zen go through the barrier in ghost form.

Leon could see the first had become utter chaos. The Ifrit was flying and sending waves of flames with its sword as the elven soldiers chased after it on their beasts. The leader was still fighting the commander of the elven clan. As for Isaac Leon couldn't see him.

Leon looked at the scene and thought it was better to not interrupt. He had Zen put him on the ground and shrink. He then walked towards the World tree. The large eyes on the barrier saw him but the commander was to busy to attack Leon.

Leon arrived near the opening over their be saw Harrison fighting a dozen soldiers. Harrison had summoned a Spiked Defender beast. It held its shell in front ans blocked all tacks from the beasts of the elven soldiers.

Leon saw this and used Lightning step to run towards Harrison.

Harrison saw Leon and didn't understand why he was coming to him but he needed the support. He had his beast create a shield around Leon blocking most of the attacks on him. Leon then dodged the rest and made it behind the shield beast to the door of the World Tree.

"Leon what are you doing here? You need to support the leader. I'll be fine go back now." Harrison said commanding the spiked defender beast to use a defending ability again to block the attacks.

"The leader said it was better I came to you. Isaac and him are doing fine." Leon walked towards Harrison as he said that.

"Fine, help with this battle then we'll go back to the plan." Harrison walked forward and looked at the beasts and soldiers readying their next spells and abilities.

"Right together we can end this quick." Leon walked behind Harrison and with a lightning sword he cut his head off. Assassinating Harrison Leon made his way to the World tree door. He then had Zen create the strongest ice wall it could make to block entry.

The elven soldiers were surprised seeing Leon kill Harrison. Even the Spiked Defender Beast didn't really notice what happened until Leon had already left. It roared and smashed at the ice wall created but couldn't break it. It continued to smash to get revenge for its summoner.

"They had a fall out between themselves. Kill the spiked defender beast and then break that ice wall." An elven soldier that was given command over the squad shouted.

Leon walked up the stairs. "Now I just need to steal the branch and leave as if this has nothing to do with me." Leon thought. He was planning on letting Pandora take all the blame while Leon Black disappeared as if he never existed.

Climbing the stairs Leon enters a large hall. It had many injured elven soldiers. He walked around and saw one of the two Pandora members that had gone in.

"Luke are you okay?! The leader sent me in as reinforcements since you two weren't reporting the progress you made." Leon took out a pill a medical pill he had laying around in his spatial ring.

Luke woke up and coughed blood, "Leon?! Seth went ahead. He should have started cutting the tree of life you should go protect him. There were too many soldiers waiting in the tree. The information leader got wasn't accurate enough, one of the soldiers knew about the whole operation. Their is another group who wants to take advantage of the situation." Luke then fainted.

Leon nodded, he then formed a lightning sword and killed Luke.

"Clearly the commander fighting the leader outside didn't know about the operation. So are the elves divided?" Leon thought. He walked up another series of stairs.

As he got closer the exit he could feel a soft and comfortable aura slowly encapsulating him. It was similar to the life aura the butterfly released but just stronger and purer. He could hear the sounds of bells as he walked off the last stair and into a room.

Leon saw that the room wasn't guarded or had corpses around it, Leon believed Luke a bit more. "It looks like they are divided, one of the groups wants the branch of the Tree of life to be stolen." Leon thought.

The room was large, with dark wooden walls formed of hundreds of roots coming out from the floor. At the center of the roo stood the source of light. It was a regular looking tree but so much more at the same time.

It was the Divine tree that supported the whole Nature Continent. It had lush and Verdigris leaves and a heavenly brown bark. As leaves touched, the sound of heavenly bells could be heard in the space. The graceful structure stood in solitude in the opening of the world tree. It was forever to be protected.

Leon saw Seth sitting on the Tree branch. He held a pair of golden scissors and was using them to cut the branch off. The scissors had dug deep into the this branch but were now barely moving even when Seth put in all his strength. With him were two fairy like beasts with ropes trying to pull the scissors shut.

"Even with the Holy all cutting Scissors it'll take a while to cut the whole branch off." Leon thought. "Seth continue cutting the branch. The leader sent me to protect you."

Seth had contained to focus on the scissors he just gave a slight nod to Leon. If he let the scissors go they would fall and the tree branch would recover almost instantly.

Leon sat down and waited for the tree branch to be cut.

Outside the World tree the leader fought with the commander elf. His beasts were tired and he was at a disadvantage, "Where is Leon and Isaac, they were suppose to come and help a hour ago." He thought. The leader took out a token. "Elena, come to the World tree as back up." Although there was a barrier, the leader had set up a place in the ground that would create a hole in the all surrounding barrier.

However Elena didn't respond, "Elena! respond!" Seeing his efforts wasted, he thought, "Did the messenger kill Elena? Damnit! Jeanette go with plan Beta. Elena couldn't stop the messenger."

"Yes sir." A voice answered. The leader then continued to fight.

Back at the arena the archery match was about to be held. Leon and Ariel silently sat again at the back this time. The other teammates were a bit worried and would look in their direction periodically.

The three people participating in the event walked to the stage.

The carefree referee appeared, he summoned a small golden fairy, the fairy waved her hands and three small stars appeared above her.

"The three of you will need to shoot these stars down. But the twist is..." Three large Bird beasts landed next to him. He placed a star on each bird's chest. "You have to shoot the star down without injuring the beast. Your score will mainly be judged by the time. Now begins." The bird beast flew away.

The three summoned a flying beast and a bow and chased.

Half way through the event time a person took out a communication token. Soon almost every other person from the Fire Continent took out a communication token. As most of them people from the Fire Continent were members of the Council of Fire, so they had been given communication tokens.

Even Pace and Anastasia who were sitting and watching the competition took out a token.

Pace read the message on it, "All Council of Fire members are to return immediately and report to the Council, A national Crisis has occurred. What?!"

Summoners started leaving the arena, at the moment only a few left.

The Monarch of Nature saw this and was surprised. Soon a person knocked and entered. It was an elder from the Council of Fire.

"The Council of Fire has come to the decision that we will be withdrawing from the competition due to sudden events. I hope the Monarch can understand." The elder then got up and appeared above the arena. "All Council of Fire are to return immediately to the Council. The Fire Continent has withdrawn from the competition."

People were surprised by the sudden change in events. Abigail stopped and looked Oren wondering what to do, he called her towards him, he then spoke, "We need to return return to the Fire Contient, the situation isn't clear but all members are to return including us." He used the communication token to tell the other team members as well.

After the announcement people started leaving at a faster rate. They summoned beasts and flew away. While others just left the arena in chaos.

The Chimera watched the scene, it didn't have the communication and so didn't get the message, however it and Ariel had heard Oren speaking with Abgial.

The Chimera and Ariel didn't have time to discuss as they both looked to the side.

Pillars of light could be seen from the source of the sound. The situation suddenly turned worst.

The elder of the Council of Fire looked at the Monarch, "Is this your way of saying we can't leave Monarch?" He said.

The Monarch didn't know what was happening either. He appeared above the arena and announced, "The Nature Continent has always fully supported the Fire Continent and shall in this situation as well. The tournament is cancelled, All Nature Army soldiers help the Fire Continent people leave the area safely. Nature Elders go and find that person responsible for the act explosions."

The Monarch then looked over the situation. As he did a man could be see riding a LeafFariy Griffin. He stopped in front of the Monarch, "Urgent matter the branch of the Tree of life is being stolen."

The Monarch was shocked by the sudden news. "Is this all a distraction?" He thought. "Well done reporting." As he was about to teleport away he was mesmerized by a Black lotus.
