CHAPTER 3 CHRIS.

Mr Anthony sat on a chair in his home office , his table few inches away from him he was so engrossed in his MacBook that he didn't hear his door bell ringing, whomever was at the door of his condo wasn't going to give up until he answered, but Mr Anthony knew who was at the door.

He slowly stood up, and walked out of his study room towards the door.

He opened the door.

Two teenagers a boy and a girl of the Early age of fourteen rushed in.

CHRIS they yelled as the hurriedly hugged him.

He smiled, has he hugged them back.He broke the hug but they wouldn't let go of him.

Alright you can let go now he said. They but shouked their heads in refusal.

He walked forward a little and closed his door. They were still in their uniforms that means they had just gotten back from school and decided to come all the way here he thought.

Lori, Larry, you can let go of me now he said trying to tickle them off.

These are his step siblings and he was older than them with at least over a decade.

His mother left him when he was 5, he didn't know why he was never told the reason anytime he asked his father would lie that she was died in an airplane crash, But when he turned nine, he had overheard the worker's gossips around the house about how his mom abandoned her only child and left her husband, he couldn't understand, how could his mom be dead and Abandon him at the same time?.

But it seemed the news got to his dad because days after he fired all his workers and employed new ones, could it be true? did his mom really Abandon him?.

Some months later his dad would come home with a new wife, without any father and son discussions, without any heads up or hints, this was not like his father because they were really close, they had that father and son relationship, he didn't know what was happening, but the reign of the new wife was terror even the worker's knew it, he was only nine, there was not much he could do.

When he turned 11 she got pregnant and birthed twins, a boy and a girl, he hated her, because she acted all high and mighty, but he loved his siblings, he was happy he was no longer alone, because all the toys and friends in this world could never amount to the bond siblings share.

Sadly Mr Gray Anthony died four years later, He was Assassinated, while with Maggie (His wife), They had just walked out a five star hotel in Las Vegas, and he was shot.

Maggie mourned, but not as long as chris expected, because after a month she was back to shopping and vacations, He had to put his foot down, and when she was around all they did was fight and argue.

you are an irresponsible mother he would tell her, because she was, she didn't care for her twins like a mother should.

when dad died, Chris became the father figure to his two younger siblings, he was too young to run his family's company, so his grandfather came out of retirement, and ran the company, also being a father to Chris.

They kept holding on to me even while I tickle them Larry finally let go, but Lori held on to me.

You don't come around anymore, don't you love us?, she asked..

don't be silly of course I do, I just, I have just been busy I said as playfully scattering Larry's hair.

Mom schmom, Larry replied as he dropped his bag on a sofa what's for dinner? he asked again trying to divert the question.

Well I have some uncooked pasta, there's all the ingredients all I need is a pair of hands or two.

I'll help with the tomatoes He volunteered.

Don't look at me Lori said, am not a cooking person, she defended.

I and Larry worked in the kitchen for awhile.

your gonna come to my game Right big bro? he asked has he tried chopping some raw tomatoes.

Yeah, when is it again, I asked.

It's Friday, I might just get a chance to play in the field and not get benched as usual coach says have got potential.

I walked over to where Lori sat watching TV.
