Everything went quite and my body moved on its own, before I knew it my foot was on a man's shoulder as I walked over their heads to get to her, was I an undercover athlete? because even I had No idea how my body moved the way it did.

My heart was beating ten times faster than normal.

I was in panic was she Okay?

Lory!!!

A number of five people surrounded her.

What were they doing?.

where was the freaking paramedics?

some one is hurt I yelled in my head.

Lory!, move.

Are you alright? I asked as I wrapped my hands around her.

She needs air, move I gestured for her team mates to give her space.

PARAMEDICS!,

I thought this was an elite school? where's the freaking first aid people?.

I was like a mad woman.

Larry? where's Larry I called out.

I'm right here he said squatting next to me. He was with me the whole time and I didn't even noticed.

Take, I said and handed him my phone. Call 911, call anybody.

Are you alright?. I said looking at the girl crying in my arms.

I can't move my left leg, it hurts so bad Willow, I need help. She begged.

It's okay, it's gonna be alright okay? I'm right here with you I reassured.

10seconds later they were here with a stretcher one person on each side they gently carried her, She held my hands tightly has we ran out of the field. The game had already stopped momentarily, searched around with my eyes looking for Larry.

Larry I called out.

I'm here he answered.

I did it again.

I wanted to ask him if he would wanna stay back, he was finally gonna play today, he was so excited but now that wouldn't be possible because even if he played he wouldn't be able to concentrate considering the fact that is sister is about to be hospitalized.

Before I knew he entered the ambulance with me.

The paramedics people placed a huge clothe under her leg as we all sat tight.

we would be there in no time she said from under her mask.

Larry, My phone I said cause I suddenly remembered I hadn't called Mr Anthony he should be aware of what was going on.

He handed it over to me and quickly dialed the number of his Personal assistant.

Mr Antony can't come to the phone right now, he his occupied in a business meeting.

Wait! The other caller yelled.

It's about Lory she's been in an accident please tell Mr Anthony to come quick.

is she with you? He asked her.

Yes we are in an hospital just up town. she replied.

Okay be still and take care of them, when Mr Anthony is done with his meetings we will be on our way he said and hung up.

I was in my office sorting out some files when my phone started ringing.

I picked it up.

Mr Antony?

Yes? Who's this?

It's Willow, the childrens care giver, I called 30minutes ago but your PA hung up on me, Sir, lory is in the hospital we need you to come quick, you need to sign some papers before they'll attend to us.

Wait. What? Why's she at an hospital? I asked as I stood up picking my keys from my desks

She broke her ankle whilst doing a routine today at the football game, she slipped and fell landing on her ankle, please come quick.

Okay I'll be right there I'm on my way.

RJ! I called out.

Sir.

Drive me to the State hospital.

Okay sir.

He drove with speed.

Hurry up I said impatiently from the back seat.

You and me have some scores to settle he said has RJ parked at the parking lot.

He hurriedly got down from the car before RJ could finish parking.

Nurse? Nurse? Did a young woman with a girl broken ankle, came here also a young boy.

He struggled with his words.

Calm down sir. I'll lead the way just follow me she said.

Here sir, she showed him to a room, I stood outside i could see the inside from the clear glass frame. My sister laying there on the bed doctors hovering round her, Willow and Larry by the corner.

I rushed in.

All heads turned towards me.

Chris Larry rushed to hugged me.

It's okay kiddo.

Sir are you the guardian? The head doctor in charge of the case asked.

Yes.

Then you need to come with me to sign some papers, your girlfriend here hold us you would be here any minute but it has been almost 2 hours.

Sorry sir, but I'm not his girlfriend he's my boss she corrected. As she slowly looked away.

I apologize doctor something came up, and I'll need you to transfer her to the vip rooms so she can properly be treated.

Miss Willow, Stay by her, Larry come with me. I ordered and walked out the doctor following behind.

Is she gonna be okay? Chris asked me

She will be I answered patting his head as we walked down towards the new room where lory was, the doctors were done putting on the cast

they assured me that all she needed was bed rest she shouldn't try to use her legs for atleast two weeks, I'll need to take care of her, if only I had been attentive she wouldn't have waited so long before getting attended to.

I walked in and saw Willow seating by her side holding her hands firmly as lory dosed off.

She looked tired, it was 12 in the morning and neither Larry nor her were in the comfort of their bed. I sighed.

It's okay Miss Willow you can head home now. I said.

Sir she stood up, it's okay I can stay. She rejected my offer.

You look tired, to top it off you haven't had anything to eat, you're excused I don't want you to be over worked I can handle things here. I persuaded

But sir, I want to stay. They are my responsibility and I'm sorry I let this happen on my watch. She apologized.

No it's not your fault "it's mine" I thought,

Larry will stay here with her while we head out to go get something to eat for the kids.

She nod.

Sir I didn't want to undermine you in front of Larry but the doctor said Willow isn't allowed to take in any solid substance for now, she whisper's.

Oh. Then will just get her something less solid I said.

I had already taken off my suit we walked down to the elevator and I pressed the last floor.

"I never got to thank you"

What? She asked looking at me.

"Thank you for taking care of my siblings all this while I am away".

It's nothing sir, I was just doing my job, and I love them both as my own, the thought of anything bad happening to either one of them scares the life out of me and I'm not saying that because I could probably end up behind bars if anything happens to them, but because I genuinely care about them.

She concluded with a smile.

I laughed.

The elevator was quite for a minute.

I had made up my mind to stay off work and be with lory to take care of her.

The doctor said If she didn't get enough rest she might never be able to do acrobat again, and I know how much she loves it how much she's good at it, I wouldn't let a dream dry out I just wouldn't.

"RJ I told you to go home, what are you still doing here"?

Sir I said I was sorry I didn't know better.

"You didn't know better? You got a call that my sister was in the hospital bed and you hung up, what meeting would be more important than the life and health of my baby sister"?

Sir, we have waited for that deal all year and it was finally at our doorstep I knew the caretaker was capable of handling the situation that was why I didn't inform you I didn't want you distracted.

"Distracted? Go home RJ"

But sir? He resisted.

"Go home"

RJ gave me a hateful glare as he walked away.

I'm sorry if I might have been the cause of your fight I didn't want that to happen.

I apologized.

"You tend to do that a lot, apologize, don't worry you did the right thing" he told me,

A smile found its way to my face as he opened the door for me to enter his car.

He closed my door and I watched him as he walked around, who knows how he might be feeling right now?, I have seen him care for his siblings like they were his children I wonder how sad he must have felt when he heard the news.

He opened his door and sat in the drivers seat as he raised his engine and drove off.
