"The week went by fast, didn't it?" May asks while sitting in the office in the afternoon.
"Hmm." Alden hums in agreement.
"The celebration event is in a few hours. Have you both decided what you are wearing?" Lexin asks.
"I spent the entire weekend deciding what to wear." May said and sighed. "I still haven't checked if I even have clothes," Lexin spoke as he shifted his gaze to the ceiling. "Because I have been busy with those two." he thought.
"You better hurry up then. Leave early today. I don't think we have any more work.." Alden said.
"Ok.. I'll leave in a few minutes."
"I am quite nervous." May spoke in a low voice.
"This always happens. You'll be fine once you reach there and start socializing with the guests." Lexin said in a reassuring tone.
May remains quiet and puts her head down.
Lexin then got up and said, "I'll go now. Meet you sometime later then."
"Ok/Bye." May and Alden spoke together.
At Lexin's House-
"Hmm... This black suit looks good. I'll wear this.." Lexin said holding a dark black suit in his hands while standing in front of the mirror.
"Blue would look good on you."
Lexin's eyes widened and he turned his head. He saw no one.
"Did I just imagine his voice?" Lexin thought and turned back just to face Lucas.
His face was a few inches away and his eyes were staring right into Lexin's eyes. "I hope you are ready for the event tonight. Hmm?"
"Not y-yet." Lexin stuttered and moved a few steps back.
"If I am wearing a black suit and you are wearing a blue one, we'll look pretty good together." Lucas said and came closer to Lexin.
"I don't have a blue suit." Lexin said, moving further back.
Lucas stared at Lexin and then gave a slight smile.
"Here's a gift for you. You don't have to thank me. Wear it tonight, alright?" Lucas said and gave a box with white packaging and a neatly-tied bow on top.
"I can't accept this.." Lexin said. "You already did, love," Lucas said with a smirk and started walking towards the window.
"See you at the party." he said with a wink before jumping out the window.
Lexin gasped and rushed towards the window. "Why did he just jump... Where is he??" he thought and tried spotting Lucas but failed.
"Well, I guess he knows what he is doing."
Lexin then looked at the box and sighed. He opened the bow and the cover of the box.
The suit laid out before him, was a stunning midnight blue. The fabric was neatly folded and creased to perfection. He noticed a letter resting on top, waiting to be read.
The letter-
Yes, it is a suit. A blue-colored one. I had been thinking of finding a good suit for you and finally found it. This suit was MADE FOR YOU. Zane helped as well. Wear it tonight. Don't disappoint me, love.
"Huff..." Lexin sighed heavily. Just then, his phone rang.
"I reached the place. Where are you both?" Alden asked on the phone. "Alden, you reached way too early. The party hasn't even started yet." May spoke with a giggle.
"Exactly." Lexin agreed. "The earlier, the better. You two, hurry up now. Just a few more minutes."
After reaching the place-
"Woah, this place is huge." May spoke. She wore a velvet bodycon, which defined her goddess-like curves. Her hair was tied in a messy bun which exposed her jawline and slim neck.
Alden wore a dark green suit. His long, black hair tied into a small bun at the back of his head. His glasses, as usual on the tip of his nose.
"That suit was a good choice." Alden commented on Lexin's suit. Lexin wore the blue suit Lucas gifted him. His black, messy hair was combed properly to the side making him look chivalrous.
"You look pretty good yourself. You are going to attract a lot of girls." Lexin said with a smirk on his face.
"Lexinn!!" someone shouted and Lexin turned his gaze towards the person. "Enzo! I didn't see you this entire week. Where were you?" "I got busy with work... You look pretty handsome." He said.
"Oh, thanks. Enzo, if I am being honest, you look like a completely different person." Lexin spoke.
"Really? I tried my best to dress properly for tonight. When do you think Mr. Zane and Mr. Lucas will arrive?" Enzo asked.
"Don't know." Lexin answered.
The gentle melody of a piano began to fill the room, drawing the attention of all those present. As everyone turned to see where the music was coming from, they were greeted by the sight of a choir, their voices blending together in perfect harmony as they performed. The sound of the music and the sight of the choir created a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere, filling the room with positive energy.
"When'd they come?" May asked loving the atmosphere.
"No idea." Enzo said.
"Mr. Eavenson?" a lady with orange-blackish hair approached Lexin. "Yes?"
"It is such an honor to finally meet you. I absolutely love the thought you put in this." she said with a huge smile spread across her face.
"Thank you. May I know your name?" he asked with a soft smile.
"Calista Berrelleza, I am a member of group 2." she said.
"Pleasure to meet you."
As a few moments of light conversation passed between them, she gracefully excused herself and walked away.
It was then that the distinguished guests, whose presence had been awaited with great excitement, started to arrive, each one greeted with utmost respect and admiration.
Lexin noticed Lucas and Zane walking into the room, both dressed up in body-sticking black suits. As soon as they walked in, many people crowded then.
The chaos calmed down later and they both headed to their table.
Their secretary, Miss Iris Bazzle, walked in after them. Her gaze, almost suddenly, shifted towards Lexin.
Lexin noticed her and passed a slight smile. She started moving towards him and upon reaching said, "Hello, Mr. Eavenson. How are you?" "Am feeling great, what about you?"
"I am good as well. Marvelous party, isn't it?" she asked looking around.
"For sure. You look beautiful." he said.
She looked at him and smiled. "Thank you, Lexin. You look good in... this suit too." Finishing her sentence, she picked up two glasses of wine.
"Here is to your success." she offered a glass to Lexin with a smile.
