34. SHE'S COMING

It had been three weeks. Three weeks since their accident. And they are back to work.

"Boss, We had handled all other things but Mr. Alex is still waiting for your reply and he had invited you to dinner tomorrow." Lili's assistant reported.

She decided to handle the company as it had been waiting for her to be the CEO but so much happened in these last weeks. She layed her head on the chair and relaxed.

"Do I have any meeting left?" She asked.

"No Boss" her assistant replied

"Then you can go back, I'll also go." She picked up her blazer and went out of the building.

...

"How was your day, madam??!" Bao asked while giving her the glass of water.

"Very tiring" Lili fell on the couch.

"Is Shiyi back?" She asked.

"Yes madam, master is in his room." Lili nodded.

"Did he ate dinner?" She asked.

"I went to his room, but i don't think he ate it, he was busy." She nodded and went up.

"You are back." He said when Lili entered in the study and saw him working on the laptop. His dinner was left untouched at a side.

"You didn't ate dinner?!" She asked while going to the book shelf.

" Lili, don't disturb me I'm busy." He didn't looked up at her.

"Where's the book I was reading yesterday?" She asked.

"Here." He said and she went to him and picked up the book.

"I'm going to sleep." She informed and he nodded a little.

He was finally done and came out of study when he saw Lili sleeping on the rocking chair,with her book and glasses on.

He went to her and picked her up after staring at her for some time.

"Clumsy." He mumbled and smiled a little before laid her on the bed and himself beside her.

He looked at her by resting his head on his hand,while she's sleeping like a baby. "Shiyi." She mumbled in her sleep and he smiled "yes?"

"Don't do that" she again mumbled.

"What?"

"Don't eat the cake." She frowned in her sleep and he chuckled.

"You're such a foodie, dreaming about food." He smiled at her.

She slipped closer to him and he looked at her affectionately. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and placed his hand on her face,feeling her soft skin.she pouted and he smiled.He looked  at her who was sleeping with her mouth open and he picked up his phone and clicked some photos of her. But he then realised what he was doing.

'What is happening to me?' He thought to himself before going to his side.

_NEXT MORNING _

Lili woke up and looked at her side when she saw shiyi so close to her and was holding her hand.

"Aaahhhh!!!!!!" She shouted and kicked him off the bed.

"Why I'm here?!!!" She remembered she fell asleep on the chair.

"Ouchhh!!" He got up and looked at her in disbelief.

"What??!!" He asked as he was still in sleep. She sighed and got up from the bed, going towards the washroom.

Shiyi was sitting on the dining table,checking his phone when he received a call. His eyes widened immediately as he read out the caller's id.

"H...hello?" He cleared his throat.

"How are you my boy?!" A voice came from the other side.

"I am fine grandma, are you okay, you never called this early in the morning." He asked and Lili looked at him.

"I'm coming!...on Friday." She said strictly and his eyes widened and before he can speak the call ended.

'why is she coming here, she doesn't know about this marriage....ohhh f#€k!!!'

Bao noticed his tensed face and asked "what happened boss?"

"Grandma is coming, Lili come with me." He said and got up from the table being followed by Lili.

"What's the problem if grandma is coming?" She asked.

"She don't know about this marriage as she strictly follow traditions and she will not spare us if she find it out." He explained

"Then what are we going to do?" She asked.

He looked at her and thought of a plan.

"What are they going to do there?" Xing asked Chen Qi.

"Probably smuggling but our spy found out that there's a contract they will sign today." He answered.

"So we'll be dividing into four teams of eight members and last will remain here for controlling the system. Team A will go with me and B with Xing. C will be the backup and last team will be informing us every little information they get.Clear?" His voice loud and clear.

"Yes Boss!!" All shouted and started to prepare.

"They will surely come here and this time I don't want any mistakes!!" The voice boomed through the room.

"Yes sir!!" They all shouted.

...

"Here are the things you should learn before meeting my grandma." He started

"Talk politely, show her you the best granddaughter-in-law, and behave like we are real couples.

She must not know that we are in a contract." She nodded.

He was about to go when he turned back again.

"Call me with any nickname infront of her." She widened her eyes.

"I'm not gonna do that!!" She spoke.

"Then let me add a penalty to our contract." He smirked and she crossed her arms.

"What will you do?" She raised her eyebrow. He took out the marriage contract and wrote something at it before handing her to him.

"The contract has been extended for a FIFTEEN DAYS!?!" She shouted the last part while reading.

"Don't shout." He said simply and turned his back towards her.

"Wait!!!  it...you can't...you..ahh!!" She sighed heavily as she know she can't do anything now.

"Don't shout at me like this infront of her." He added and went out of the room.

"Pig!!" She spouted at him thinking he's gone but he came back and said "A MONTH." She looked at him and than at the contract.

"Ohh...i was calling myself a pig!!

Not you.." she fake smiled.

"But I didn't asked why I said this." He stated while smirking.

She slapped her forehead and he chuckled before going.

"Come for dinner." He shouted.

She sighed heavily as she sat on the bed.

_FRIDAY MORNING_

The Lu Mansion was busy preparing for her arrival. "Bao, please go in the kitchen and help there." Mrs Lu said and ran away to do her part of work.

"Shiyi, call your dad, i told him not to go to the company today but he didn't listened to me!" She muttered when Lili took all the things from her,placed it on the table and made her sit down.

"Here, drink this." She gave hed the glass of water.

"Lili, I have so much work to do." She was about to get up again but Lili stopped her.

"Hua, please take this." She called a maid and gave her instructions.

"Just sit here, I'll get these things done." She smiled at her daughter in law and patted her head.

"Learn from her! And you are just sitting there like a lazy pig!" She taunted Shiyi who was about to speak something but the main door opened.

An old lady walked in elegantly wearing a red dress with black hat matching her branded bag. She was old but her figure declined. She had perfect curves.

All the servants and maids,even the bodyguards bowed to her,including the family members.

"How are you mom?" Mr Lu hugged his mother.

"I'm fine." Then Mrs Lu and she stood before Shiyi. She looked at Lili and she bowed to her again.

"Hello Grandma." Her voice polite but she didn't replied and asked Shiyi.

"Why didn't you told me about your marriage?" While looking at Lili again.

"Grandma, everything happened so fast that i-" she interrupted him.

"That you forgot me?"

"No grandma I didn't, actually I thought to give you a surprise but you came suddenly and I wasn't able to do preparations." He explained.

"But yo-"

"Grandma,You must be hungry, let's have breakfast." He went with her signaling Lili to follow.

They finished their breakfast and were sipping on the coffee/tea, talking with Grandma.

"I really didn't liked it when I came across the news of you getting married. And the worst thing, you didn't even cared to tell me. I wouldn't know if I didn't saw it on internet." She scolded all of them.

"Mom, we're very sorry, but We didn't wanted to disturb you there." Mr lu said.

"Disturb?!... I would be happy and will immediately book tickets!" She raised her voice and all went silent again.

"Grandma, sorry..but There's still our reception left and you can organise it the way you like." Shiyi said and she patted his head.

He was the youngest and the beloved one. His grandmother was the one who loved him the most, she was the one who understands him as his parents work, not able to give him time in his childhood.

She fulfilled his every wish and spoiled him. There's no way she will be angry with him more than five minutes. 

" Okay, fine." She smiled and looked at Lili. "Come to my room right now." She ordered her and went to her room.

Lili looked at Shiyi who nodded and she followed her with small steps. Reaching, she knocked the room. "Come in" she opened the door and saw her sitting on the recamier.

"Come here." She said and Lili took steps towards her.

They both came out laughing in the hall, suprising all of them. Grandma isn't easy to deal with. But here they are, walking towards them laughing.

"You are really good Lili." Grandma praised her.

"Thank you grandma." She thanked politely and looked at Shiyi who's eyes were widened.

"What are you looking at??" Grandma asked and they all nodded as no.

...

"How did you?" He asked once they were in there room.

"What?" She asked.

"How did you impressed grandma?!" He cleared.

"Aww...are you jealous??!!" She smirked and he raised his eyebrow.

"Why would I be, I'm grandma's favourite!! I am just asking that how did you did it.." he said with a proud face.

"It was simple." She casually spoke.

"Simple??!!" He was truly shocked now.
