33. WE'RE HERE

The doctor came out of the ICU after a couple of hours and all ran to him expect Lili. She was sitting on the seat,numb and rage filled inside her. She tried to get up but she got no energy to do so.

"Doctor, how's he?!"Xing asked him.

"Yes he's fine, but he lost so much blood so we need to keep him under treatment till he's fine." Lili sighed.

"Can we meet him now?!" Xing asked.

"Yes you can but please don't stress him out because he had a severe injury in his head" Lili tried to get up again but she fainted and Chen Qi caught her before she hit the floor.

...

Flutter opening her eyes, she roamed her eyes around but it was an unfamiliar room and it was dark. Her head pained and then she remembered what had happened.

She tried to get up but her body was not with her. She felt like trash, with no energy. She saw a needle in her hand. And was about to remove it when she realised someone's presence. A very familiar presence and she immediately looked at her left and there he was. Sleeping with his head on the bed while sitting on a stool beside her. His head and arm bandaged.

His hand holding her firmly and he was sleeping like a puppy.she smiled at him. His face looked pale, and lips dry and the next thing she heard was the sound of thunderstorm.

It was raining heavily and the sound of raindrops which were falling on that full wall window eased her mind and she fell back,half sitting half laying on the bed.

Her eyes closed and she started remembering everything which happened after they came back from India. And after kidnapping Jiang and killing that gaurd she was sure that it was not a coincidence. Nothing was a coincidence.

The attack after they came back, her kidnapping Jiang and that gaurd telling her everything. But one thing she didn't understood was that why did Jiang made an alliance with Huan.

The chain was not connecting here. She looked at Shiyi and huffed as her head started spinning before she drifted off to sleep again.

...

"Oh...you are awake!" He saw Chen qi coming in while he was sitting on the bed,just woke up.

"You know what, you had been asleep for almost 3 days." Chen qi said simply but his eyes widened.

"3 dAYS?!!?!?!" He shouted making him flinch and he immediately shut her up.

"And she's sleeping, not YOU want a scolding in this early morning??!!" It was like he dared Shiyi to utter something else and see the consequences by himself.

Chen qi slowly went to her side and breathe a sigh of relief after watching that she's sleeping soundly.

"She didn't woke up?" Shiyi asked and Chen qi nodded as 'no', without knowing that she did last night.

Shiyi remembered when he woke up,his head was on her bed as he sat down on the cold floor. And he quickly got up not wanting anyone to know how 'he' the multi billionaire slept on the floor last night.

And just then Lili got up slowly. And Chen Qi helped her to sit. And her eyes went on the man sitting beside her. But he didn't looked up, not even once and she sighed while looking down.

"Brother!!!!!....my bro!!!!" And just then Cheng Lang came in shouting with his arms wide open.

"Don't shout." Shiyi said and lang immediately looked towards him and gave him a bone crushing hug.

"Oww!!" Shiyi muffled while touching him arm and Lang immediately pulled away.

"Oh sorry sorry!!" He apologized when shiyi gave him a death glare.

Shiyi looked at the gifts behind him and asked " are those for me?, You know i don't like chocol-" and he was interrupted.

"Well I didn't came here to meet you, I came to meet my sisi and these gifts are for her only." He said and hugged Lili before taking the stool and sitting beside her totally ignoring him and giving her all the gifts.

And doctor came inside." You both are awake!, Well it was unexpected.." he said.

" You both were in a critical condition and there were high chances that you both may go into a coma, but luckily you both are up now." He added.

"Now let me do some tests and then tomorrow you can go back home, but you need atleast one month bedrest and don't stress youself you both. And based on you work, I know you both are not gonna rest but the more you rest, the faster you heal." Doctor knew Lili for a long time and is team's doctor since then.

"Thank you doctor." They said and  he went out and Chen qi too while lang and Lili were talking.

...

"How are they?" Xing asked to chen qi on the phone.

"They're okay and doctor said that they can go home tomorrow." she sighed a breathe of relief.

"How about there?" He asked.

"They are going to meet today, so I can't come there, let me speak to her." She said and Chen qi again went in the room.

"Lili..." Xing chirped.

"How are you?!" She decided not to be stressed out infront of her but Lili got her with just her voice.

"How are you?!" She asked.

"I... I'm fine..Guess what, I will catch them today!!" Xing said in a victorious voice but Lili knew she was low like her when Xing met an accident and She can feel how much it hurts when your friend in in the hospital and you can't be close to them.

"Don't stress yourself out okay, I will watch here ..." Xing was the one who can handle all the things in Lili's absence and she trust her fully.

"Bye,  see you soon i gotta go now, take care!!" Xing switched her phone off and went to get ready for the mission. She wanted to be with Lili but she was needed there.

_NEXT DAY_ SHIYI'S MANSION _

"How can you both do this to me??!!" Mrs Lu said to them sitting on the stool beside their bed in their room.

"I said I'm sorry mom..." Shiyi tried to convince her but she shut him up.

"Don't you dare to talk to me!!" Lili took her hands in hers and started.

"Mom..??" And she looked up at her.

"We're here right?? With you... All fine.." she spoke softly but Mrs Lu was sobbing continuously.

"Please, now, don't cry!!! We are fine look!!" She showed her eyes to Shiyi and he immediately spoke up.

"Yeah, mom, we're fine!! You don't have to cry!!.."

"You don't talk to me!!! Lili is my daughter!!" Lili laughed and rubbed her tears before hugging her.

While Shiyi looked at both the women in disbelief.

"Now you both take rest and I'll bring something to eat for you." Lili nodded and She left the room.

And she immediately looked at shiyi, glaring.

"Now what did I do?!" He asked

"What was the need to yell at her!!" She shouted.

"I didn't yelled,she did!!" He refused.

"Oh yeah???" She asked in a sarcastic way. And she was about to speak but there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Shiyi said in his dominant voice and the door opened and a maid came in with two bowls of soup.

"Here's your dinner, master,madam....and elder madam strictly ordered to finish it" Shiyi nodded his head and the maid left without looking up at them.

"Eww!!! I will not eat this!!" Lili yucked at the vegetable soup.

"Didn't you heard what mom said?!" He simply picked up his bowl and started blowing on it.

"I did but it's looking so bitter!!" Lili filled a spoon and again placed it back in the bowl. She turned the telivision on and realised it's her favourite drama going on.

"Drink the soup!"he ordered but she ignored him. So he picked up his phone and switched off the tv.

She tried to switch it on but it didn't work.

"Uhhhh....switch it on!!!" She whined.

"Drink it or I'll not do it!!" He was back on drinking his soup.

"I don't want to!!" She whined again and tried to get his phone as they were sitting on his bed.

"Drink it or I'll made you drink the way you won't like." He looked serious and he smirked looking at her terrified face.

She know what he'll do so she immediately picked up her bowl and started eating the vegetables from it.

_AUTHOR'S SPACE_

I know it was sooo late but you know how busy the life of a student is and the assignments,test and extra work is just frustrating...and I was not in mentally fit for a few days and Now..but tried my best to think and write.

Next chps are gonna be super exciting as it will the start of the war...so stay tuned.
