29. HER TRUESELF

They turned around to see and it was non other than Chen Qi.

"Hey lil sisters!!"He came running to them and Xing Xi smiled and greeted him but Lili rolled her eyes.

"Hey bro!"They high fived and Lili started walking with them behind her.

"He's now with Huan and we need to do something!"She said and they both were serious now.

"How about we attack first?!"Chen qi said but lili denied.

"If we did then we'll be in a big problem." He nodded and the three of them sat in the car,Chen qi on the driver's seat and the girls at the back.

"Let them do what they want!!" Lili said while thinking something.

"Wait stop!! I can't go home like this!!" Lili said and Xing turned to her.

"Bro, you're coming with me!!"And she sighed a relief. She litrally had forgot that she's going at her place.

_UNKNOWN PLACE_

"They know about us, we need to attack before they do!!"A young man who looked like in his late 30s said to the elder one in his early 50s while standing up from his chair.

"Calm down young man!! Drink this and calm down.."He said coming towards him and handing him the alcohol and he sat down drinking it in one go.

The old man lighted up the cigarette and inhaled in deep before exhaling. "Now if they had come to know then why not play a game??....a death game!!"He said the last words dangerously and the younger one looked at him confused.

"What do you mean??!"He asked.

"This!!" He showed him a paper and both of them smirked.

_THIRD PERSON'S POV_

"Uh Xing...lemme choose the movie!!"Lili said while catching the remote from xing.

"No not today!!, I know you'll again play that boring action movie...today let's watch a romantic one !" Xing said choosing the movie while protecting the remote from Lili.

"Okk then I'll bring some snacks till then you choose the movie!" She jumped off the bed and after a while came back with so many packets of chips and cans of cold drinks.

"Don't forget about skincare!!" Xing said and Lili rolled her eyes but Xing being stubborn make Lili wear the sheet mask too and they both continued watching the movie while munching chips.

_NEXT DAY_

The girls were sleeping peacefully while the room was filled with packets of chips and cans. And Someone was knocking on the door loudly.

"Yeah yeah coming!" Xing said and got upto open the door but when she did her eyes widened.

"Oh hey!!" Cheng Lang said but she closed the door on his face and turned around. Her face heated up and she quickly set her hair and again opened the door.

"Uh hey, good morning!"She said and he was confused at her behaviour but found it cute.

"Uhh actually it's good afternoon!!" He said and her eyes widened again and she looked at the clock in her room. It showed 2pm. She looked at him and smiled awkwardly.

"Who's it?"And just then Lili's voice came and he looked beside xing where stood lili while rubbing her eyes.

"Oh hey lang, what are you doing here?" She enquired.

"Hey Lili, actually I came here to pick you up. Shiyi was busy so he sent me!" But that was a pure lie.

_FLASHBACK_

_SHIYI'S MANSION_

"Lang you finish the paperwork and i am going to pick Lili up!" Shiyi said while walking towards the door of his study.

"Uh..no!!"Lang shouted.

"Huh??"Shiyi turned back but lang scratched the back of his neck.

"I'll go to pick her up.."He said and Shiyi looked at him while raising an eyebrow.

"I mean you do the work and I'll go!!"He said while taking the keys from shiyi's hands and went down running.

He narrowed his eyes at his retiring figure but sighing he went to his study.

_PRRSENT TIME_

"Ohh yeah??!!" Lili raised an eyebrow at him and he smiled awkwardly.

"Yeah, it's true!" He said.

"Ohkk, you wait downstairs, I'm coming" lili said and went inside the room to get ready and lang looked at Xing who was still standing there.

"I.. I'll go now!!"he said and xing nodded but he didn't moved from his place. She looked up at his face and saw him staring at her and coming back to reality he went downstairs leaving a dumbfounded xing at the door.

"Bye babes!!"xing said while hugging Lili.

"Bye..." Lili said back and went in the car in which Lang was sitting on the drivers seat.

"How about we go and eat snacks first?" He said and lili nodded and they went to McDs.

...

"Bye sis, i gotta go, see ya later!"and he left without hearing her reply. After droping her.

She entered in the house but saw no one so she went upstairs and again there was no one but just then shiyi came out from his study making her breathe stuck in her throat.

His white crisp shirt sticking to his body, outlining his well build muscles and the sleeves rolled up till his elbow making his viens pop out. His hair disheveled and his glasses resting on his nose bridge while he set them up with his index finger.His eyes red and light dark circles indicating that he didn't slept last night.

"Uh..hey!!"She said but he looked at her and stared for sometime and then said.

"You didn't called me?"

Rude!!

*But hot!!*

She didn't had time to fight with herself as she have to come up with a lie.

"We were asleep early!!"She scratched the back of her neck as this was a pure lie. They had been watching movies till late night.

"I'm talking about morning,today i called you but you didn't answered." He said while picking up the food lang placed on the table.

"Uhh we were..uh... sleeping..yeah!! And my phone was on silent."she smiled at her excuse and praised herself internally.

"Ohh but what is this???!"He said while showing her the box of fries and burger.

"Food?!"She replied.

"I don't eat junk food!"He said and placed the box on it's previous place.

"Oh come on!! sometimes we should eat it too!!"She said but he raised an eyebrow on her and she quickly stood straight.

"Ohkk then I'll eat it!" She took the box and ran downstairs.

But he was hungry, he hadn't even had his meals since night due to work and now he have to make something for him to eat.

He cleaned his study as there were so many files here and there and being a cleanliness freak he can't tolerate this. But when he went to kitchen,he was shocked.

Lili was wearing an apron and was running here and there in the kitchen making something.

Her hair tied in a messy bun as she smiled when she saw him making his heart beat drop.

"What are you doing?!"He asked while coming in the kitchen.

"Making lunch for you or what?!" she said casually while placing the dish in the plate.

"But-" he was cut off when she held her arm and made her sit on the chair before placing the plate in front of him.

"What's this?" He asked as he never ate or even saw the dish which was in front of him.

"It's aloo ke paranthe or you can say chapati of potatoes..A punjabi recipe "She replied happily.

And he looked for spoon or chopsticks but she laughed and said "we eat it using hands!!!... with curd and sour pickles..." She said and took a morsel from his plate, dipped it in his bowl of curd and ate it,and moaned.

"Ummm.... it's sooo yum!!"And looked at him who held a morsel and put it in his mouth.

And his eyes widened,it was like a yummy, delicious, and so much spices bursted in his mouth...the butter was a cherry on the top.

"How's it?!"She asked and he looked at her,casually which made her face lit down thinking he didn't liked it.

"It's so good!"He said and she looked up at him who started eating like his life was dependent on it.

"Thanks!!"She chirped and just then got a notification. She looked up at him and then at her phone.

"I'll be back."She said and went somewhere while he just looked at her retiring figure.

"Yeah?!"she asked on the phone.

"Hey!!"Xing chirped.

"You called me just to say hey?!"she raised an eyebrow.

"Ohh come on actually I wanna say that what is our next move?!"She can feel her rolling her eyes.

"Nothing" Lili said casually.

"What do you mean by nothing!! We have to do something!!Okay?! We will be in a big problem actually we are in a big problem!!-" she kept ranting but lili cut her off.

"-hey hey hey calm down babe calm down!!...take a deep breathe and relax..." lili calmed her down and started speaking.

"Let them do what they want, I'm sure that they are planning something so let them and we'll wait, I have my plan ready so just relax babe.." she smirked and talked for some more time before hanging up.
