25. ENEMIES

"Shiyi... what's this!!??"She asked looking at him.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you!!"His voice was firm but there was an emotion she can't describe.

He increased the speed and Lili clutched the seatbelt tightly. And it became worse when they started firing. They were on the highway and there was mostly no car there as it was late midnight.

"But who are they??? Why are they chasing us??!!"She asked him but he just looked at her.

"Lili don't worry okay??? I promise I'll never let anything happen to you!! Now just do as I say?"He tried to be calm and made her understand.

He opened the drawer of the car and there was a gun in it. He gave it to lili and just then took a sharp turn. But unfortunately they shoot on the tire and their car punctured. Shiyi cursed under his breathe and got out of the car with lili. They ran on the narrow path in the trees and reached an abandoned building and they went in it before they come behind. Shiyi was holding her hand firmly.

Shiyi opened the large gate and entered while guiding them to a particular room. Lili was still holding the gun and was looking at the place,it was clean from inside, till they entered in a room. She realised that there were so many men in the room in black suits and the room was filled with various types of guns.

Once they entered all the men bowed to them and one man came to them. "Boss we are ready.."He said these four words and shiyi looked at lili.

He made her sit on a chair and kneeled down in front of her. "Who were they??"She asked again to which he sighed.

"My enemies" She nodded her head. There was just confusion on her face, neither fear nor she looked scared.

"Don't be scared okay?"He told her and she nodded again. He was the one who was confused now.

She didn't looked scared. If there was a normal girl she would cry a lot and will be traumatized after it but Lili didn't, she just looked confused. He didn't asked her more as they heard a gun shot out there.

All the men went outside while picking up the guns. Shiyi looked at her and said" you know how to use it??"He asked and she nodded.

"Stay here and don't come out okay?"She can tell that he was really scared.

But she didn't know that he was not scared of the men, he was scared of her, If anything happened to her,he will not be able to forgive himself.

He went out and lili looked at the gun in her hand and then at the guns which were placed on the table.she stoop up and looked around and saw a small window and smirked.

There the men were entering in the building carefully. While Shiyi and his men were in the building ready to fight. And just when the door opened, the only thing there was the sound of firing.

Some men from their side fell down and some from the other side but the firing didn't stopped. The men were able to come inside and all the men of Shiyi hid using anything they got as a shield while firing on the opposite men whenever they got chance. And that thing happened which Shiyi didn't want to, their bullets finished. Some who were having extra bullets continued to fire but that didn't lasted longer.

Men were more on the opposite side and all looked at Shiyi to order them.He just swayed his hand towards their direction means that they are gonna attack together with leftover bullets and then fight. Shiyi and some chosen men were changing their positions by hiding themselves behind anything. As all the men were standing in the hall and shiyi's men were hiding, Shiyi decided to attack from behind.

Now Shiyi and his men surrounded the others. Shiyi signalled them and they all attacked them together,some were stabbed and some were fired. On the other side they were confused as they can't understand what's happening. And when Shiyi annd others were out of bullets they used their knives and hands to knockout their enemies.

Shiyi and others were fighting when a man stood up and held a knife in his hand and was walking towards shiyi. And just when he was about to stab him, a bullet was fired which startled all. Shiyi looked from where the bullet came and was astonished.

There stood lili in a very different and new aura. A M1911 in her right hand. And she stood on the stairs very dangerously.Her hairs tied in a bun.

She started shooting all while coming downstairs without any difficulty. And shiyi was shocked but covered it up and started fighting though he don't had to because she had already knocked out most of the men.

And she was soon beside him as he knocked out the last man. "Are you okay?"It was now her who asked him. He just nodded as no words came out from his mouth. Soon all the men were dead and his men gathered around them.

"Boss, we lost 9 men" The same man stated as he didn't dared to look up in his eyes. Shiyi sighed heavily as he was sweating.

"Shiyi...B...blood!!"He immediately turned towards lili and checked her from head to toe. But didn't find any stain of blood. "O...on your shoulder!!"Lili said while looking at his right shoulder which was bleeding, his white shirt filled with blood around his shoulder.

"This is nothing,tell me are you okay??"He asked while looking in her eyes but her eyes were just looking at his wound.

"L... let's go to hospital..now!!"She spoke and started walking while holding his arm but he didn't.

"Lili, there's no need for that!!, I'm totally fine!"but lili just glared at him and continued walking.

"I want the car in 2 mins!!"She stated firmly on her phone. They went outside and there shiyi saw a Mercedes Benz in Black and a man sitting on the driver's seat.

They got in the back seat and Lili told the driver to go to the nearest hospital. Shiyi didn't uttered a word the whole time.

...

"Sss..!!"Shiyi hissed as the doctor treated him while he clutched on Lili hand tightly.

"Please take care of yourself as the wound is really deep..and eat healthy to heal faster. Lili, can you please come with me.."The doctor said and lili nodded. The doctor went outside and lili looked at Shiyi who was still holding her hand. "Shiyi.."She uttered and he immediately let go her hand, missing the soft,cold feeling.

She went outside and saw doctor going through some files. "Yes Mr. Kim?"the doctor turned towards her and smiled. "He is lucky that the knife doesn't did severe injury but he need rest and take great care of himself and don't let him do heavy stuffs."she nodded and thanked him. "No problem Lili, it's my pleasure to help you again.."with this he went away from there and Lili went in the room.

"Are you okay? Do you feel any pain?"she asked. "No" he simply said.

And after half and hour later they were home. They didn't went to Lu Mansion as shiyi didn't wanted his family to worry about him and hence they are now in his personal apartment.

Lili made him lay on the bed and told the butler to make something healthy and she herself made him eat the food while he enjoyed it all. And after that he ate the medicine and immediately fell asleep. Though her mind was filled with questions yet she decided not to mention them to Shiyi yet.

_UNKNOWN PLACE_

"WHAT THE F#€K!! IT WAS A PERFECT PLAN AND YET YOU FAILED!! A man shouted at the people who were already trembling with fear.

"W..we are s..sorry Boss, we had won if that lady didn't came and shot all our men!" A man spoke meekly.

"Lady?" The man who was directed as 'Boss' asked in confusion.

"Yes Boss, He married some two weeks ago with the CEO of Chen Groups and she came and knocked out our remaining men."The man explained and the 'Boss' smiled evil while something cooked in his dirty mind.

_NEXT MORNING_

The Chen and Lu family had came in the morning as soon as they got to know that the couple had arrived and now all were sitting in the living room chatting and laughing while some munching on their snacks and elder sipping on their tea as Lili told them about everything and anything about the days they had lived to their full back there.

Shiyi had forbidden her to tell anyone about the incident and she obliged.

"Well, Lili why didn't you told us last night that you have arrived??!" Mrs Chen asked as Lili had called them today morning only. "Uh... actually..i...i was too tired that i just slept after arriving."she not really had lied as they were truly tired.

"Lazy ass!!"Chen qi uttered and Lili slapped him on his head as he ouched. After some bickering Lili whispered something in his ear which made his eyes widened and heat rise up to his cheeks.

"Well... how's your girlfriend??"He pressed his palm on her mouth to stop him from talking further.

"Don't!!"He whisper yelled and she nodded while rolling her eyes.

"You didn't told them yet!?!?!"She acted shocked.

"Actually I need some time and we both don't want to hurry.."He whispered calmly. And Lili wriggled her eyebrows. "ohhhooo... brother is serious huhhh??!!" And he sighed knowing too well that she will now don't leave any chance to tease him.

"Well, now we must go. It's getting late and you both rest well,okay?!!"Mr Lu said and they both greeted all before they left and chen qi winked at Lili and mouthed 'good luck' before getting out and Lili sighed at her crazy brother's antics.

Shiyi was currently in the study attached to 'their' room on his laptop working,sitting on the chair. Busy finding the one's location who attacked on them.

"Lang, did you found anything?"He spoke,still typing on his laptop. "Hmm, when you found it tell me immediately." And just then Lili entered and he immediately shut the laptop which Lili found suspicious.

"Remove your shirt."She said in her monotone. "what?!!?"He got confused. "I have to change the bandage."She replied. And he tried to remove it but hissed when it hurted.

"Oh my!! Lemme do it!!"Lili immediately went towards him and helped him removing his shirt and sat on the stool near his chair and started removing his previous bandage she gasped internally looking at his abs.

*Ohh god!!... I'm gonna die!!*

He really have a nic- ohh god what I'm thinking!??!?! Focus Lili focus!!!

And he smirked as he found her staring at his abs and her actions slowed down. "Liked the view??"He asked smirking.

"Huh??"She came back to earth from the heaven she just saw.

"View!! You liked it??"He repeated,his smirk same as always.

"Ye- i mean NO!!!" She immediately changed. His smirk widened and heat rose up to Lili's cheeks.

She started cleaning the wound and Shiyi hissed when it burned. Lili immediately started blowing on his wound to ease the pain and he involuntarily smiled thought his dimples were far away from showing.

"Is it paining?"She asked while bandaging the wound.

"No."He said still smiling and she looked up at him.

She looked deep in his eyes, the dark brown chocolate colour which she can't resist.

Lili...what are you doing??

She blinked many times and looked away while his smirk never left his lips. She got up and went out of the study with the first aid box before coming back again. "Would you like to explain now?"She asked straight forward while sitting in front of him on the couch.

"Lili, you....k.... know that our company is one of the top buisness in the world a...and obviously we have so many enemies and they were on of them."he explained after thinking then and now but that wasn't a pure lie though. They also want his company.

"But those guns.."She asked again and then his body stiffened. He looked at her and she stared back at him, looking for an answer.

"Uh..they... actually..we really need them as our enemies had attempted to attack before also." He stared at her as he explained his not pure lie again.

"And that building?"She bombed one more question and he looked away before looking at her again.

"To keep our weapons." And Lili nodded though she still doubt his answers as the weapons were not some which will be used normally,they were professional and were smuggled,she know.

And she stood up to go out when he stopped her. "Lili."she turned back. "How did you...i mean you...how did you handled the situation so easily?"he asked as he was really curious about that.

The way she fired with gun was way professional and the way he knocked out the men, her skills were not normal either. It was like she had been doing it regularly. Like she practice everyday or she's familiar with these type of situations.
