_THIRD PERSON'S POV_

The engagement ceremony went good with elder's blessings and youngsters taunts three days ago. Today was Mehendi, and when Lili got down in her usuals pyjamas after a bath and she saw the decorated house and some corners were still being decorated. It was all cream and little bit green because the theme was green too. Bright lights, cream curtains and more.

(Mehendi- It is a ceremony where heena is applied on hands and feet of bride and groom both and all women apply this too. This function takes place in the groom's and bride's houses seperately cz after this the to be couple is not allowed to see each other as it is considered bad luck.)

"Good morning,lili."Pallavi wished her she wished her back and pallavi made her sit on the dining table and started serving her food while she insisted that she can do it herself.

"Don't worry, I'm not that old you know!"Pallavi stated and Lili gave up.

"Where's shiyi? He didn't came down?"she asked lili who said that he was still sleeping.

"Okay...And Lili after you did your breakfast come to my room."Lili nodded while Pallavi left from there.

Lili went to pallavi's room and saw her taking out a box from her cupboard.

"Ohh you came...take it!"She said giving the box to lili.

"what's this, masi?"She asked.

"Look yourself!"and she opened the box and saw a beautiful green coloured saree in there,fully covered with stones.

"Masi, there's no need for thi-"She was cut off by her.

"-Don't deny lili, this is a gift from me."She said while opening the same box by herself and it was a men's outfit which was green too.

"Thank you very much masi!!!"She hugged her.

"Now go and get ready fast,the function will start by 10." And lili was about to go when pallavi stopped her.

"Wait lili, take these jewellery for yourself and this brooch for shiyi!"She handed her the green coloured pearls necklace and a silver brooch.

She nodded and left the room while smiling widely and pallavi chuckled at her actions.

such a baby!! She thought and continued with her work. Lili entered the room and shouted "SHIYI!!!!WAKEUP!!!!!" And shiyi woke up with a jolt. "What happened??? What happened???"He asked in urgency while getting off the bed quickly.

"Nothing happened!! Today's mehendi so get ready fast!"Shiyi slapped his forehead and shoke his head while Lili chuckled.

Shiyi went in the washroom while Lili started getting ready, she wore the blouse and leggings but when she was about to wear saree she remembered she don't know how to wear it. She wore the first layer but was confused afterwards. She started panicking and decided to ask seher for help.

She will be busy too!!

And she picked her phone up but sighed when it was dead.

Now what??

"May i help??"She turned around and saw Shiyi leaning with the bathroom door!

His hair wet and his tight t shirt was sticking to his body from chest and biceps and his abs were slightly visible.

"Did i asked that loud??"She spoke to herself "Yeah!!" but shiyi answered and came closer to her.

"May i help if you're comfortable with it??"He asked again.

"okay..., Do you know how to-"

"-If I didn't know how to do it, would I have come to help?" He pointed and Lili permitted him.She removed the saree from her and gave him.

He took the saree from her and started making creases on it and when it was done he secured them with a safety pin and bent down and told her to place the inner corner in her legging she did it and shiyi started turning around her,making her wear the saree.

Sometimes his body touched hers and the drops from his wet hair fall on her skin. After two round he told her to tuck the creases in her leggings again,she took it from him and placed them in the centre while he gulped watching her. Her belly button was cleary visible as her blouse was not covering her waist. Her full waist visible to him.

She took the cloth again in his hand and took a round from her left to right again and placed the on the shoulder and told her to secure it.

She nodded as he checked her for a last time and was proud of him.

"How am i looking?"She asked while checking herself and turning back.

And shiyi's eyes widened and she stood still when he saw her back. The blouse was backless just a strip to tie it. He gulped a lump in his throat and shook his head, removing all the thoughts he was having in his mind and answered her.



"You l...look good, no doubt!"He stabled himself and Lili smiled and told him to get ready. While she started doing her make-up and jewelry. She did a light eye makeup with black liner and mascara. She took two silver bangles and put them on and lastly the necklace. She opened her hair from the bun and they flowed like a waved and she got happy with the natural curls.She applied some lipstick and started to spread it onto outside when she heard the door of the bathroom clicked open and her eyes met with his and her actions halted at their own. She noticed some stillness on his face but it faded away immediately and Lili rolled her eyes as he again put his exotic face on.



He walked to her while she was still working on her lipstick. He pulled her from her bare waist and she gasped on the sudden action and collided in him. Her both hands on his chest as he placed his hands around her waist tightly. Lili looked at him but immediately lowered her gaze. He looked dangerous.

"Lili, look at me!"He ordered and she stared at him.

Now what did you have done Girlll???!

I don't think that i did anything wrong, except his shirt fell from my hand when i was finding my nightsuit..

Ohh shit!!!! It was his favourite shirt!!!

He especially told you to pack it seperately when you was packing!!

Shutup!!! I had pressed the shirt again and hanged it where it was,no chance he can notice it...

He is the Great Lu Shiyi, he must have noticed it!!!

She was thinking this all while staring at him and he found it cute as she will change her expressions every second. He studied her features and was beyond shock, he was mesmerized by her. She looked like an enchantress,her light makeup was doing justice and her light highlighted and blushed cheeks were just like a witch's spell- beauty spells. His eyes went to her jewelry and thought that the set suits her.



He broke her chain of thoughts with a light pinch on her bare waist. She gasped and rubbed it with her hand,soothing the pain.

"Why did you did that!"She whined at him.

"Don't ever roll your eyes on me or the consequences will be worse than this!"He stated and held her impossibly close making her narrow her eyes at him.

He stared at her but suddenly her eyes watered and tears started coming out of it but she quickly held a napkin and placing it on her waterline,preventing her makeup from getting ruined,he got startled but his hold on her waist was same.

"Hey... lili!! What happened hey..are you okay??? Why are you crying??"He placed his hand on her cheek and rubbed her tear away with the pad of his thumb.

She placed her head on his chest and as she stoped crying but hiccups were still there.

"What happened??"Shiyi asked in a more soft and calm voice.

"I...want chocolates!"She mumbled but it was loud enough for shiyi to hear.

Lili can feel his chest vibrating while chuckling as she played with the button of his overcoat as his hand went to her hair,massaging it lightly, the other hand on her bare back, drawing patterns in order to calm her.

While he was chuckling remembering she's on her periods and having terrible mood swings.

"So let's go down and get you a chocolate milkshake?"He asked still hugging her as she nodded still on his chest.

Lili turned towards the mirror and fixed herself. She stepped towards Shiyi,ready to go and shiyi forwarded his hand and she accepted it smiling widely. He smiled that she accepted it and they both went down.

"Nazar na lag jaye in dono ko!"Pallavi said while turning her fists on the both the side of her head as Punjabis do.

(In india, when someone is looking beautiful they do this gesture to prevent them from evil eye.)

Seher was in the hall standing with pallavi and adoring the couple."Wow di!! You're looking hot!"She remarked as lili thanked her.

"And jiju you too!!" She complimented him.

"Thank you sali sahiba! App bhi km ni lg rahi..."He tilted his head at her as Seher smiled mischievously as he called her with lili's connection as she is her jiju's sali.



Seher's dress

Lili stared at him as he called seher his sali. She smiled a little while lowering her head but he noticed it and smirked.

"Let's go outside!"Pallavi said but shiyi said. "Masi ji we'll come after sometime"Pallavi nodded and they went to the kitchen.

"What are we doing here?"She asked as she was confused why they went to kitchen. He sighed.

"Don't you want to drink milkshake?"Her eyes lightened up.

"Lemme help you!"She said but he picked her up like a baby with his hands under her arms and made her sit on the counter.

"Shut up and just sit here!"He said as she nodded and shiyi took out the shaker and then the coffee powder. And started pouring it from it's small cap when the cap fully opened and all the coffee powder was in the beaker now. He groaned and Lili started laughing.

His eyes went dark as no one had ever dared to laugh at him . He went to her and was dangerously close to her and she immediately stopped laughing.

"Don't you dare!"He warned her and lili gulped hard looking straight into his dark eyes but giggled when she saw coffee powder on his nose.

He was shocked that just now he warned her and she again started laughing. He suddenly bit her ear and she cried and tried to push him away but all in vain as he held her hands and took them behind her back with his right hand and the other went to her nape.

He licked the area where he bit soothing it again but Lili finally pushed him and he was really scared after watching her all red face, angry. She looked here and there and smiled when she saw a knife and was about to pick it up when Shiyi picked it first as he ran the distance between them.

Lili looked at him and then at the fork which was in the stand she quickly took it and shiyi ran for his life. "Lili look I'm your husband you can't kill me...i...i....am sorry...i am really sorry but give me the fork!!..."He don't know what he was saying while running for his life and lili behind him with the fork.

"I'll kill you today!!"She shouted and ran faster. He looked behind and saw her coming so he stopped and when lili was close to him he went back her and held her by her waist and picked her up in air as she struggled to free herself from his grip. He took the fork from her and throwed it somewhere before making her sit on the counter again.

She started hitting him on his chest but he was not at all affected. She started shouting"Get out you dumbass, bastard, stupid, rude, arrogant,angry bird...."And etc etc while his ears went deaf and the only thing he see was her lips, her full,plump and red painted lips, he groaned as he was now out of control and kissed her.

Yup he kissed her...her eyes went wide like saucers when she realised what he's doing. She tried hard to get herself free but he put both his hands on the either side of her with her hands in her. Her skin felt so soft against his,as he kissed her.

Oh no no no not the lip kiss....a kiss on her cheek. ( hayee... it's fun screwing up the scene!!!sorry.. I'm really a cold hearted person) 🙇‍♀️

She hit him on his shoulder and he backed off. "WHAT THE F#€K WAS THAT!!!!"She shouted, but he put his index finger on her lip making her shut up again. "You talk too much Tereso and even swear!!"His deep husky voice was the first thing which send shivers down her spine.

"Now if you disturbed me the consequences will be worst than this!"He warned her, his finger was still on her lips and the other went to the cheek where he kissed her. He pressed his finger there while his eyes never left hers.

She nodded as no words came out of her mouth and he started making the milkshake again and this time finished with no disturbance.

"Here!"He said giving the glass to her and she was shocked to see the decors on it.

"Thanks but you didn't need to do these decoration you know!"She said as she ate the chocolate which was in it. Shiyi just shrugged.



Shiyi smiled looking at her. He huffed when he remembered she was about to kill him. She asked him if he want some but he refused saying he don't like sweets.

"Then what you like??? You don't eat spicy food, you don't eat sweet then what you eat??"She asked him getting shocked.

"Nor too spicy neither too sweet."He stated casually and she was shocked to hear him. That's why he don't have any taste in life.

She thought eating the icecream and they talked then and now and she finsihed it.

They went out and was shocked to see the heavenly decorations in the front yard it was green, cream and white. The flowers making them more beautiful.



Seher was sitting on the couch and two mehendi artists were applying mehndi,one oh her hands and one on her feet.



Others were sitting under the tent which was in front and close to Meher. Women were busy applying mehendi on their hands. All were talking and laughing. Meher was looking so etheral and the glow on her face was just looking so good.



"Lili, seher...come here, you also apply henna!!"The girls ran to pallavi as Shiyi went to where men were sitting. Karan was sitting in one corner looking at Meher as she talked and laughed time to time.

"She look so happy."Shiyi said and karan nodded his head, a tear escaped his eye but he quickly rubbed it away and smiled looking at Meher. She was his elder di, or he can say his another mother who always cared for hkm, loved him,told him what is right and all the things which a mother do.



"She will go soon, my...my di will go away from me!"He controlled his tears and his voice broke at the end.

"No one is going away from you and you dare to cry !!! look how happy she is, she chose her life partner by herself and she know what is good for her... Right?? So stop crying and go to her, tell her you are with her.....and for the doubt you have for the guy she's gonna marry...if he did something to her, he'll surely be in danger."He stated laughing at the end and sent him to Meher as she held her hands away from karan. She knew he's gonna ruin it and he teased her more.

Shiyi smiled looking at Them both as seher too joined karan and said something in her ear which made her red like a tomato. Meher was about to slap seher on her shoulder but stopped as she have mehendi applied on it.

They all laughed and he didn't noticed when Lili came and sat beside her. "How's it??"She asked as she looked at her and then at her hands which were fully covered with mehendi,and the smell of henna and her lavendery scent filled in her nose stills.

"Do you know you have your name in it!"She said chirping and got confused.

"The brides here write their husband's name on their hands which they have to find." She cleared his confusion.

"I told them not to do so but Masi said that she know that on my marriage there were no rituals like this and she insisted me so-"she was blabbering when shiyi placed his index finger on her lips to shut her up and spoke

"May i find it?" She was startled by his action but nodded.

"don't touch my hand,it is still wet!"She told him as he nodded and held her finger on which there was some space so he hold it and started roaming his eyes all around.

"It's in English only!"She chuckled as she thought he would find it in hindi or punjabi. He smirked and looked at Lili.

"You found it??"She asked shocked as he just checked her hands for some seconds and he found it???.

"Here!!"shiyi pointed his finger st the inside of her thumb as they both heard shoutings and saw all were looking at them. Lili's cheeks went red as shiyi smirked noticing it.



Her mehendi.

"Wow!!! Jiju.....so clever huh!!!"Seher stated as her elbow was on karan and he was clicking photos of them. shiyi was still holding her hand and the pic was awesome.
