[Retrospection]

 "Why should Momoshiki become the leader of the Otsutsuki clan?"  Yashiki asked furiously  "But I'm the eldest son"

 "Because you are not worthy of the title of king"

Yashiki couldn't come to terms with his father's decision, so he left the palace

"I won't let Momoshiki become the king of Otsutsuki"

 "Would you like to be able to change reality?"

 "Who are you, show yourself?"

 A figure dressed in a black cloak appeared in front of Yashiki  "My name is Kashiro Otsutsuki, thanks to part of the power of God Otsutsuki Shibai, I can change reality as I wish"

"Shibai, God of Otsutsuki... I want you to frame my brother for something that would make him suffer serious consequences, so that my father will choose me as his successor"

 "I see..."

 Next day...

The guards brought Momoshiki to the palace where his father was

"What's going on, why are they treating me like this?"

"My son...no, you don't deserve to be one anymore...Momoshiki, you made a grave mistake destroying the temples and monuments of our ancestors, that's why from today you are exiled, you are no longer welcome on this planet"

Momoshiki couldn't believe what he heard, he was accused of something he didn't do, he immediately flew out of the palace and left the Otsutsuki kingdom.

 A few days later...

Momoshiki reached some battlefield and noticed the injured Otsutsuki.  He reluctantly went to him and treated his injuries

 "You saved me sir, please let me serve you?"

 "Your name?"

 "Kinshiki"

 "I will gain enough power to destroy the Otsutsuki kingdom" Momoshiki thought

 [End Flashback]

Boruto was surprised to see Momoshiki's memories

"Momoshiki you..."

"Shut up, brat, don't say anything.  I don't want sympathy from someone like you"

 "I see that you were killed by some mortal and, what's more, you marked him with your karma, you really are pathetic Momoshiki"  Yashiki mocked

 "It's true that I can't be reborn as this brat, but there's nothing stopping him from defeating you"

 "Do you really think such a mortal can defeat me?"

 "Yes, because this brat has the potential to surpass even the Otsutsuki God himself"

 "Don't be ridiculous, he's supposed to be?"

Momoshiki ended the conversation and gave control back to Boruto, the blonde was about to leave, but Yashiki had no intention of letting that happen.

 "And where are you going, I'm not done with you yet"

Yashiki appeared behind Boruto and was about to attack him, but suddenly his hand was set on fire with black flames

 "GHRAAAAAAARH!  WHAT THE HELL?"

 "Those black flames"  Boruto thought

 "BORUTO!"

Boruto turned around and saw a girl with long black hair, what caught Boruto's attention was her Mangekyo Sharingan

 "Long time no see"

 "This Sharingan, Hikari, is that you?"

 Hikari smiled seeing that Boruto remembered her
