I didn't expect the merchant guy to like my idea and actually wanted to buy it from me, but thankfully I'm not foolish enough to accept that offer.
What I want is a share of the profits, rather than a single purchase agreement. While it could give me a lot of money right now, the overall benefit of the money it generates after it sells is simply not comparable.
It would be me who would be losing and not this guy, that's why I have to negotiate for a better outcome and after a while, we finally managed to strike an agreement.
Basically he gets 60% of the profits while I get 40%, because you say that I'm losing. Let me explain properly, while I sell my idea, the merchant dude will be the one who would use his resources to create the bicycle, everything is on him.
The creation, the advertisement and the necessary permits to avoid being copied by another merchant.
Basically I do nothing but sell the idea and wait for the money to grow in a bank, actually do banks exist in this world?
I asked the merchant and indeed, they did. This would be more convenient then, it would be really bothersome for me to carry a lot of money.
Although I do have an inventory thanks to the community, it's strictly limited in space and I don't really want to use it for money.
There's more useful things that could be put there, and something that could save my life in the process, not some overweight coins that I could get anytime.
Anyway, I'm definitely not losing. In fact , I'm surprised that I even managed to get that much profit from someone like him.
But I'm definitely not complaining, to think I would revolutionize the world earlier than I expected, this is the first step and next time I'll slowly introduce things that would shock these ignorant monkeys.
Thank god I'm in a fantasy world as magic is a norm and isn't uncommon, if this was similar to earth I wouldn't dare to invent things that were too complicated for a medieval man to understand.
Because I would most likely be branded as a heretic for using evil craft or something, the church is really corrupt in my world.
But thankfully, the church of this world actually has a divine and not like back in my world which the church deifies a human being.
A human that they killed by their own hands, either way I'm not going continue to thinking about religion as it's a very complicated thing.

After arriving at a town nearby, that's where we finalized the negotiation which includes a geass so that there wouldn't be any trick or backstabbing involved.
Then after signing it, I started making the blueprints of the bicycle, which I completely cheated by buying some from the shop.
It's dirty and scammy, but hey. It works, they won't know shit about it.
Have you heard of the quote 'Work Smarter, Not Harder' that's basically what I'm doing, since I have a luxury to do so, I'm making money with basically doing nothing.
And I would certainly do more in the near future, even Lloyd would admire me for this, even he has to work while I do basically nothing at all.
Anyway I won big time, and the cost of the blueprint is dirt cheap compared to what I will get in the future.

We stayed in this town for a couple of days before going to the capital, to be specific the Royal Capital.
It would be my first time being there, and several times for Frieren.
—
It didn't take more than a day to arrive outside the capital.
I stared at the fortress and the walls surrounded the city inside, I couldn't help but be fascinated.
After all, this definitely gives off a fantasy type of feeling within me, and the walls were amazing, even Donald Trump would be jealous of it.
"I wonder what's so amazing about this place, it's just another human city it's nothing to be amazed about." Frieren said, not caring about the royal capital.
I stared at her with a serious look and replied. "You don't get it, unlike you who probably saw the rise and fall of countless kingdoms, this is my first time going to a kingdom and experiencing what it's like to actually live here."
Frieren shrugged and said. "It's the same with every other city, though it's more populated and the prices of inns are well…expensive."
Then she remembers something. "I wonder if my money is enough for a few days of stay or else we'll be sleeping outside at this rate."
I waved at her and replied. "Don't worry about it, I have enough money for us to live comfortably for a few months, while I may not know the prices here. I think this will be enough."
I showed her my pouch which was filled with dozens of gold coins. Thanks to me hunting demon beast for the past 3 years, I earned a lot of money by selling some of its meat and other useful materials from its bodies.
It also helps the fact that Ūriel refuses any money from me, because she thought that it would shameful as an adult like her to leech of a child.
Thanks to that I managed to save lots of money, plus I wasn't really the type to spend a lot of it. Only buying what's necessary.
"Woah, that's a lot of money…you sure you're a commoner Stark? I don't think a child like you should have that kind of money, perhaps you're secretly a noble son or something." Frieren couldn't help but be amazed by the amount of gold coins laid beneath her.
She wasn't really the type to get moved by money, however it's astonishing for her to see this amount of money from a child.
I rolled my eyes at that. "I wish, but no, I'm definitely not a noble by any means."
Or at least I thought so, then I continued. "Besides, shouldn't you have an enormous amount of money since you're part of the heroes party? If I recall you guys raided a lot of dungeons and ancient tombs before killing the Demon Lord, you of all people should be as rich as a high-class noble."
Frieren shrugged and replied. "Not really, most of the treasures we get will be given to the people who need it, we only take a small amount of it for traveling funds."
That makes sense, after all considering what kind of person Himmel was, I'm sure that most of the treasures he gets goes to charity.
It only solidifies the fact that he's living in some ordinary house, when he could live in some mansion, which I'm sure the king would happily give them as a reward.
I'm also surprised that they weren't given a noble title after their deeds, probably because they refused it.
Maybe except for Hieter.
"Make sense..say, I wonder if people would recognize you after you enter." I gave her a shit eating grin.
To which she shuddered and replied. "I certainly hope not, I don't want to deal with a crowd of people. I never like being popular. What's so good about being surrounded by a crowd of people when you can just read some books in peace and be on your own?"
I was about to open my mouth, but then closed it again and became thoughtful.
"Actually, you're absolutely right." Says the former shut-in.
"Right?" Replied by another shut-in.
The two have reached an understanding with each other.
Both are hopeless with crowds.
—
We quickly arrived at the capital, the inspection with the guards went smoothly at least in my case, however for my traveling companion it's a different case.
"Excuse me, are you perhaps mistress Frieren who was the mage of the heroes party?" An old high ranking official said as he recognized the silver haired elf.
"No…"
"As expected it is you! Please let us guide you to the royal palace and meet the current king. I'm sure that the king would love to meet one of the heroes who vanquish the evil demon lord!" The high ranking official kept talking and didn't notice Frieren's expression.
"No, no…" Frieren's face cramped.
"Well then, let's get going mistress Frieren!" Then the high ranking official told lower rank soldiers to escort her, but it's more of dragging her away rather than escorting her.
"Noooooooo…!!"
It was such a pathetic sight and since I don't want to get involved with the royalty, I kept my mouth shut.
"Stark help me…! Please! I don't want to go!" Frieren shouted at me for a plea.
She's being dramatic, however I'm not stupid enough to do that, after all it could make me end up at the gallows if I'm not careful.
I'm not powerful enough to face an entire kingdom's force all by myself, at least not yet.
That's why, I did the only thing I could at the moment. "Good luck! We'll meet again later in the afternoon. I'll be waiting for you!"
"You traitor!" Frieren was nowhere to be seen after that.
I scoffed at that, I'm definitely not betraying her. It's not like she's in danger.
Then after that I finally managed to enter the capital city of central lands.
It's definitely an exciting moment and something I would definitely remember for years to come.
But before I could take a single step further, suddenly I heard someone shouting.
"AHHHGHH! OUT OF THE WAY!!"
I was confused as to where that came from, however when I figured out where it was already too late as I looked up and saw a girl about to crash into me.
It was too late to dodge.
Boooom! Whishh!
"Ack!"
"Ugh!"
Both of us definitely got hurt, I looked at the girl who crashed at me, and saw a familiar face.
The title that I received from meeting Frieren was already doing its work because this girl is someone who was shown in the series.
"Awwwuu, I'm sorry I was practicing my levitation spell and I couldn't control my landing, are you alright?" The girl asked out of concern.
Despite that I was looking at her with wide eyes and thought. 'Isn't this girl Lawine?!'
Once again I met another named character from this world.

Author Notes: Boy meets girl, now I would like to see where this is going. I'm not sure how old is Lawine as it never really mentioned in the series, but I'm guessing she's a bit older.
