In the War

This is the eleventh day of land occupation by undeclared groups, which occupy large parts of the cities of Vijay, Raigwa, Aurakot. The manifestos, previously seen as protests, denounce a lack of action by the Radesh government. The proportions are increasing and lead to scenes of violence – Ravi questions the current president Radesh, current president of Manakistan. Both are face to face, with no other people present in the large interview room of the local station.

Both are dressed in suits. Their body and facial expressions denote tension, but it's hard to say who holds back more.

On both sides, soldiers stand close to both, thus preventing any unexpected event from happening, such as an attack perpetrated by journalist Ravi. There isn't even an instant that the soldiers' eyes leave Ravi's, nor does his body move.

There are no objects in the room that have not gone through their inspection, much less unauthorized persons capable of transiting through the surroundings.

The chairs are away from the window, but not so close to the only access door to the place, which is maintained by two more heavily armed soldiers.

Ravi's profession has always been that of a journalist. His career spans thirty years, many of them under conditions of persecution and danger that only he is capable of expressing. But he prefers to hide his defeats.

Ravi is dressed in a dark blue suit, dark blue tie and white dress shirt. There is great pressure present in his person, and he himself notices the sweat pouring down almost painfully.

It is a great pleasure to be here and to have the opportunity to share some of the opportunities worked on by our government – In the streets, demonstrators pay attention to what is reported on television, with the words of presenter Ravi. These protesters, in question, are in a grocery store in the city of Sath.

The city of Sath has the most brutal conflicts, which are recorded across the country. Blood flows along the edges of the streets, especially in the lower reaches, and remains with no chance of being cleaned.

Nobody present in the place is able to say a single word. Their weapons remain glued to their chests, for there is great certainty that government forces are kept at bay.

It is a pleasure to be in front of the thousands of citizens of our country – Radesh replies, while intertwining his fingers and employing a minimum of force to snap them. Next, he places his bent left leg over the right.

Certainly. But what does it have to say about the crisis in several municipalities, under the pretext of improvements in social conditions, such as employment and food? - Ravi goes straight to the point, swallowing all the fears that circulated in his head. The soldiers present at the site dedicate a fraction of their time to face it. Ravi is quite sure what is going on, but he doesn't seem worried.

Did you find anything concrete? - Radesh makes a brief pause, and then responds. He keeps his chin slightly down. His voice comes out clean, without the slightest hesitation in what was said.

Our teams clarified. Each one of them, and it's no secret, as you can confirm, due to the constant reports – Ravi advances with his index finger, in order to control the conduct of the interview. His eyes shine with the possibility of unmasking him – They insist on making it public. There is no reason to be otherwise.

Still, these are just rumors, and rumors spread by dubious people. The confirmation of a rumor does not mean that it is true – Radesh returns the same attitude used by Ravi.

Not by our professionals.

They are certainly professionals. There is no way to disagree with that – Radesh adjusts himself in the armchair, making his facial expression not seen by Ravi. They well know the consequences of continuing that conversation - I'm not here to cause greater discomfort to the many viewers present and hoping to hear what our government has done, and will do for the nation.

Due to the limitation in the performance of the armed force, when it comes to the non-motorized, the boundary cities become Berm, with an estimated population of three hundred thousand people and one of the greatest symbols of inequality. A fact reported in dozens of national reports and UN alerts – Ravi uses direct words too much, and is surprised by the sounds of some weapons being unlocked. He wishes he hadn't, but he can't escape reality, and reality takes a huge toll on him - and Sath, who suffers from being exploited for poppy planting. Thanks to the ease of cultivation and distribution fueled by bribes from the authorities and the local population, many neighboring Asian countries are afraid of the growth of international drug trafficking – Radesh is surprised by the way the words were said.

At the same moment, he stops and tries to adjust a tie. There is fury present in his face, such that he remains in pure silence. Both note that they crossed a fragile line and that they maintained a modicum of decency.

In Sath, people lie down on the side of the road, the road is made up of gravel and many of these fly into houses or small businesses on the side of the road. The constant danger of conflict prevents them from returning to their homes. They never know for sure, the immensity of the risk that walks on the horizon. They're not sure when it's time to leave, and they pretend they don't care.

Their weapons remain on their chests, for those who sleep on their backs, while others rest their heads under their weapons. But somehow, they want to hear what the president has to say.

We are here for the nation – Radesh's words sound generic, without any importance to what people think.

Where are we heading? You yourself have established that we are subject to erroneous conclusions. Even if we are able to explain them, we are perfectly flawed.

Of that, have no doubts. We have a long learning journey. All of us, even more so those who raise their weapons, with the intention of causing uprisings that only weaken our government. But they will learn from us... they will learn their place in this world, and they will understand that it is necessary to adapt – Radesh looks at the palm of his hands and really believes in what he says. His look takes on merciless tones, capable of bringing fear to anyone who stands in his way. But not all, not for the man in front of her.

This is quite encouraging. But people still fear the armed clashes that rage across three of the 10 cities that make up our beloved country – Ravi knows where the conversation will turn. He knows that the president in front of him will never give in to his answers. For a question asked, he will come with an answer, even if none of them are coherent with the question itself - However... - Ravi puts his right hand inside his pocket, referring to his jacket, and some soldiers point their weapons at him , even those having searched him.

Radesh does not get involved, and allows the soldiers to do what must be done. His breathing becomes slower, almost receptive to what's going on.

Ravi hesitates, for a moment, to the point where he pulls photos out of his pocket. The tension in the air is very evident, but he doesn't regress, as far as his choice is concerned.

This – Ravi throws several photos to the floor, very close to President Radesh's shoes. Radesh doesn't even lean down to look down, feeling disgusted.

And they are... - The words flow with difficulty, as Radesh comes back to himself.

The exams. How can you be sure. I reiterate that any investigation into their originality is unnecessary, because they are the most possible.

I apologize for the delay. This chapter made me reflect on which direction the work should take. Hope you enjoy.
