However, just before the beams hit him, Alex swiftly leapt towards one of the robots, generating a small shockwave beneath his feet to propel himself above the beam.
Within a split second, he managed to close in on the robot, crushing its head with his hands.
Crack!
The head of the robot immediately crumbled into pieces, with thin electric wires jutting out of the side.
Before long, the robot dropped to the ground, its body spasming uncontrollably.
"You're all too weak to stop me." As he spoke, he clenched his fist around the shattered metallic remains, grinding them into power with his strength.
Swoosh!
He suddenly dashed towards the rest of the robots, his speed causing a strong gust of wind.
Every time he moved at least one robot fell under the ruthless attack of his claws, and before long, all the robots were lying destroyed beneath his feet.
The blonde haired man didn't bother doing much, simply leaving most of the robots for Alex to deal with.

Meanwhile,
"Argh!" Port'hov shouted, flinging the blue headset in his hand to the ground in annoyance.
Bang!
The headset instantly broken into pieces upon reaching the ground, the fragments scattering around it.
"Argh…" He grunted again, angrily pulling his hair.
He was currently in another laboratory within the building, and this room was a lot stronger than the one the experiment was held, so he felt a lot safer.
This whole place was one giant underground facility, mostly filled with laboratories where he carried out different experiments.
This particular lab was over ten times larger than the former, with giant tubes running round the walls, and different strange pods hanging from the ceiling.
Floating around in front of him were a set of holograms, each one displaying a different type of information.
"Am I dreaming…? Q-qer'sa… she's dead." He mumbled, his body trembling in fear.
Although he never showed it, she was the only person he cared for in this world.
After her mother died a long time ago, she was all he had left in this world… his only daughter.
His plan was for her to take over his position after he was dead, which was why he was always so harsh on her, to the point where it even seemed like he hated her sometimes.
However, all that was now impossible, since she was dead, and it was all his fault.
She had always hated his obsession with creating the 'perfect soldier', claiming it was nothing short of stupid and unnecessary.
But he never listened to her, instead, he punished her, by forcing her to take part in the experiment along with him.
Each time it failed, he transferred the aggression unto her, further worsening their relationship.
Most didn't even know she was his child, thinking she was just a subordinate to him.
However, he regretted it all now. If only he had listened and stopped with his crazy obsession, none of these would have happened. At least… she would still be alive.
He would have been dead also, if not for the fact that it was his clone Alex attacked and not his real body.
The clones worked similarly to a robot, except that he could transfer his consciousness to each and every one of them via the blue headset.
This allowed him to see through their eyes like a camera.
Usually, he did just this, to monitor what was going on around the clones. But when he thought the experiment was going well, he fully transferred to 'that' particular clone.
So although he wasn't actually present in the lab, he felt everything that had happened like he was, and it greatly terrified him.
So while he hadn't been present in the lab, he felt everything that happened, and it greatly terrified him.
Even now, he could still 'see' it at the back of his mind… those bright red eyes, looking down on him in anger.
The more he thought about it, the deeper the despair sunk into his skin, and his body shuddered even more.
Just what kind of monster had he created…?
Nonetheless, it was too late for regrets now. There was nothing he could do, except try to think up a solution to this problem.
He had to find a way to kill Alex, or else, not just this kingdom, but the whole of Zenon was doomed!
No matter what, he couldn't let such a thing go out to the world.
"F-first… I have to s-sound a warning to the kingdom…" He mumbled, his hands trembling uncontrollably.
He dashed to a set of keyboards a few steps across him, his hands still shivering as he frantically tapped on the keys.
'A creature that wouldn't die even after having his brains blown out… how the hell are we supposed to stop that?' He thought, biting his fingers.
'I hate to admit it… but he's at least… a red-grade threat…' He mumbled inwardly, the gravity of the situation sinking deeper inside him.
There were eight threat grades in the kingdom, the first seven corresponding to the colours of the rainbow, arranged in descending order. The least grade was violet, while red was the highest.
However, above those seven was the terrifying black-grade, which signified a threat that could pose extinction to the whole world!
The last black grade seen by the world were the vampires, who almost turned the entire of Zenon into their blood bags.
Nonetheless, it wasn't the end of the world yet. He still had one final plan… a last resort, one he hoped he never had to use.
With those robots keeping Alex busy, he should get enough time to prepare what he needed to finally kill him!
"But—"
Bang!!
A loud bang suddenly echoed behind him, and his eyes to widened in horror.
Before he could react, a strangely familiar hand abruptly gripped his neck from behind, sending chills down his spine.
Contrary to his expectations, the palm was… surprisingly warm, however, that only terrified him even more.
"W-what…?" He mumbled, slowly turning his head to the side, only for his gaze to meet with a devilish pair of bright red eyes.
"Did you really think you could hide from me?" Alex said, slowly tightening his grip on the man's neck.
