Chapter – 167 (Desperate)

By now they returned to Rivira. And there was a big commotion going on there. Many Adventurers were going to and fro with nervous expressions while muttering Dungeon was angry and wanted to kill all Adventurers. So now all Adventurers had made a huge group and were sitting on the ground thinking about their next course of action. The best solution was to leave but today when they entered the dungeon in the morning, they decided to become stronger. Hence, they didn't feel like leaving like this.
Primis even saw Loki and Hephaestus Familia in between the group. They both were saying that they should check what's going on, but majority of Adventurers were against it. So, 80% were in the favor of leaving the dungeon.
'Primis: What a pain.'

Now even if Loki and Hephaestus Familia said something, their words fell on the deaf ears.
???: Quiet.
A single word resounded, and entire place became silent. They turned towards the location of voice and seeing who it was, neither dared to speak. Loki and Hephaestus Familia took a sigh of relief seeing Primis.
Primis: Is this a Pub or something? Can't you all discuss quietly? Why the commotion?
No one dared to say anything. They might get the guts to ignore two strongest Familia words after joining force but that's not the same case when they were in Primis presence.
Primis: Bunch of cowards. Just because you sensed a slight odd behavior of dungeon, the first that came to your mind is run instead of finding out the reason. How pathetic. You should all commit suicide by banging your head on the wall. At least with this you all be able to keep a little bit of your small pride.
All their heads were down even they heard Primis insulting words. Because they knew Primis was right. At this time, one of the Adventurer collected his courage and spoke.
Adventurer 1: B-But D-Dungeon was behaving o-odd.
Primis: And......
Adventurer 1: And?
Primis: Did it affect any of you? Were there any casualties?
Adventurer 1: That's......

That Adventurer no longer had any words to refute and he also to look down. Primis ignored him and turned his gaze at Loki and Hephaestus Familia.
Primis: Nothing is wrong with dungeon. It was just the aftermath of my fighting with a monster. You can continue your Expenditure.
They nodded before Tiona come forward to ask.
Tiona: By the way, who were you fighting which made almost the entire Dungeon tremble.
Primis: Juggernaut.
Then he turned around and walked away, completely ignoring all the shocked looks of those present in the scene.

After two hours.
Primis and others finally returned to the surface. When they left the area of Babel Tower, they realized that the people in Orario had decreased by quite a lot. They barely saw a pedestrian in the way. Then after some walking they reached the Hephaestus workshop where she was currently making the weapons for Lili and Haruhime.
Haruhime and Lili waited at some distance as told by Primis while he walked past the guards guarding at the door and entered the workshop. Like before they didn't see his figure at all.

Inside the workshop Hephaestus was hitting a metal with her hammer while Hestia was standing at the side and looking at her with serious expression even when she had no idea what method Hephaestus was using. When Primis entered he made sure that only Hestia could to sense him while Hephaestus won't get distracted.
Then Hestia sensed him in the next moment turned to him, seeing him she understood it's time to update Lili and Haruhime status. So, she quietly left the Hephaestus and came out of the workshop. Guards at the door nodded at Hestia before returning to their work again. Then after walking to some distance, Hestia saw Lili and Haruhime and smiled.
Hestia: Good to see that you both are ok.
Lili & Haruhime: Sorry for making you worry, Miss Hestia.
Hestia: It's ok. And I told you just call me Hestia.
Lili: ......…
Haruhime: ......…
Getting their silence response, Hestia didn't feel dejected. She understood that it will take time for them to open to her and treat her like family. She then looked at them keenly since she also realized that their aura and presence had a huge change, and it became sharper than before. Next, Primis waved his hand a barrier was erected around them.
Primis: Alright, with his no one could see or hear what's going on inside. Hestia you can start.
Hestia: Huh? Can't we do it in a place at least where there is a couch so that they can lie down, making it easier for me to update their status?
Primis: No. You need to return to Hephaestus, and I need to take them back to "Raven Sight" so that they can rest for the day.
Hestia took a sigh hearing this.

Lili was the first one. She lowered her clothes so that her back became visible and Hestia could update her statis. Hestia got stunned at first then shocked and then she became angry.
However, she just took the paper from Primis hand copy the status on it before giving it to Lili. Next, she did the same with Haruhime and her angry intensifies. After copying the status on paper and giving it to Haruhime, Hestua turned her attention to Primis. She was extremely angry this time.
Hestia: Primis. What is the meaning of this? How could you do this to them?

Hestia got both stunned and shocked when she saw such increase in stats. However, when she read their Falna, she understood what they both go through to get such increase in strength. This really angered her to the extreme.
Primis: I have no intention of giving any sort of explanation to you, Hestia.
Hestia: YOU----
Primis: And...…
Primis then glanced at Lili and Haruhime who were looking at him and Hestia.
Primis: Do they looked like someone who care what they just went through?
Hestia also turned towards them, and all her anger disappeared in an instant. Because of her "Divine Perception" she can saw through any fabricate or lie. Means if Lili and Haruhime had been hiding their true feeling behind some sort of mask, Hestia would have seen through them in an instant. However, she didn't find any such thing. As if they themselves didn't care what Primis made them go through.
Hestia: J-Just how desperate you both are for the power?
Lili: ......…
Haruhime: ......…
Again, silence was the only answer she received. Ais who was looking at them could see herself in them. They both are just like her. If by going through some pain, they can gain power and become strong then neither she nor they mind one bit. As Hestia was looking at them with speechless expression, she received Primis voice transmission.
Primis: Hestia, I told you before, didn't I? They both had suffered and gone through a lot since their childhood. So, they clearly understand the fate of weak. The powerlessness of not being in control of their own life. That time the only thing they could do was accept their fate. Hence, now that they have given chance to become stronger, they don't want to let go of this opportunity. They don't want to experience the same powerlessness again. That's why they are so desperate.
Hestia eyes turned sad hearing this. She knew that. But still she wanted them to take their time and enjoy their life which they didn't before pursing the power. After all, they are still just 13-years and 14-years old girls. Though, now she realized it won't work the way she wanted it to be. So, walked towards them. Once she was in front of them, she opened her arms hugged them both.
Lili: ......…
Haruhime: ......…
Both the bodies of Lili and Haruhime trembled. This hug brought a strange warmth with it which started to warm their slightly cold bodies.
Hestia: I am sorry. I never thought you both are this desperate. However, I still wanted you both to relax and enjoy your life a bit when you are free, ok.
Sensing the sincerity and care in Hestia voice, they both could only look down while nodding their head. That's the only thing they could do for now as they let Hestia hug them. From this hug, they felt the same sense of security which they felt when Primis was with them. Primis smiled witnessing this.
'Primis: Even though they didn't raise their arms to hug Hestia back, they still didn't reject her either. It's better than nothing.'
[Agreed. But still, I have to say, Hestia really have her way of reaching other people heart.]
'Primis: Because her feelings are genuine with no malice or any intention behind them.'

Ais showed a slight envious expression witnessing this. Those three looked like a family supporting each other. This also made her remember her mother "Aria" and her father "Albert Waldstein". As she was getting slightly emotional, Primis appeared behind and hugged her. Ais got stunned and turned her head back. Only to see Primis giving her the gentle expression which he showed during their fight.
Primis: You are also a part of family now, Ais.
Ais eyed then turned to Sheng Ming who was giving her knowing smile and Ophis who was even with her emotionless expression still looking at her. Seeing this a smile appeared on Ais's face as she nodded and hugged back the Primis arms which were holding her from behind.
Ais: Mn.
While hugging Ais, Primis eyes moved to the side where two twilight windows prompted. These windows were showing Lili and Haruhime status in details.
