Chapter 347: Is it Really Haunted?

"What happened?" I yelled before I even reached their side.

"Ah, Yueming, I thought you had gone out. How did you come down from the second floor... What are you trying to do?" Wang Duo started to shout halfway through, quickly positioning Seow Seow behind him for protection.

Wang Duo's words took me aback. What did he mean by 'what I was trying to do'? I then remembered the knife I had picked up on the second floor; that must have been what Wang Duo was referring to. Slowly, I crouched down, placed the knife on the ground, and then kicked it aside with my foot.

"I saw something enter the bathroom just now, so I hurried back. But the door was locked, and nobody responded to my knocking, so I climbed in from the second floor. As for that knife, I found it in the room I entered." I hastily explained to prevent any misunderstanding.

Wang Duo and Seow Seow remained silent, watching me warily.
