Luk Yu took the biscuit, glanced at me, then at his father.
"No need to keep looking, eat up. It's not much, but it should tide us over. Maybe we can get out of here soon."
Seeing his father nod, Luk Yu stuffed the biscuit into his mouth and started chewing vigorously.
"Slow down, I've got more here," I said, shaking the packet of biscuits in my hand.
Then, I handed one biscuit each to Baldy and Luk Yu's father.
With Luk Yu setting the precedent, Baldy didn't hold back either. He practically swallowed the biscuit whole, reminding me of Zhu Bajie devouring the ginseng fruit.
"Yue Ming, aren't you going to eat some?" Luk Yu's father asked, puzzled, after I'd distributed the biscuits and put the rest back in the packet.
"Oh, I'm not hungry yet. I'll eat later," I flashed a grin at Luk Yu's father.
"Ai, you child…" Luk Yu's father sighed softly.
"Alright, let's get moving," I said, standing up once everyone had finished their biscuits.
