Elizabeth Liang swallowed hard.
Hearing the sound, James Lu turned his head and squinted at her. "When are you going to start?"
Feeling a little guilty, Elizabeth lowered her head, "I..."
"Do you think you don't have to do anything but stare at me to draw me?"
With a deafening rush of blood, Elizabeth's face quickly reddened again.
But she didn't want him to actually believe that she was peeping at him, so she stubbornly denied his accusation, "Who... who said I was staring at you?" Then, in order to emphasize that she wasn't staring at him, she continued, "Stop flattering yourself, I... I was just thinking about how to draw... that's all..."
"Hmph!" James snorted, blew out the smoke in his mouth, and leaned a little closer. "Then why did I hear you swallow just now?"
Elizabeth winced. "That... that's because... because..." Because what? She couldn't think of anything! Damn it!
