Chapter 04

Jeff's Pov:-

I took a leave early today because you know why. I opened the shop door and went outside. I held the coat firmly against me as the cold hair hit me. I forgot my warm cap today. I usually carry it with me. I walked a little bit away from the shop so if he comes to pick, no one would see. I adjusted my muffler around my neck because I don't know how but the hair was hitting my neck and I was having goosebumps. I let out a cold breath. When is he going to come?

I removed my phone from my pocket and started scrolling through my phone. I decided to stalk my ex. I didn't block him neither did he. I saw new posts of him from 3 days back. He was in a bar, enjoying himself. He was surrounded by guys and chicks. I sighed and the memories flashed through my mind. How sweet he was, how we broke up, how we started dating. I was just going through his posts when I felt someone standing in front of me.

"Is that your friend?" He asked while looking at my phone. I immediately locked the phone. "Oh, yeh. I'm sorry, didn't see you coming." He smiled. "It's fine, ready to go?" I nodded and we went towards his car. He opened the passanger door for me and I sat inside. I felt warm inside his car. The heater was on which made me quite comfortable.

"I made a reservation at a table, after that we'll go for a small walk, if you don't mind." He said while his eyes were stuck on the road. "That's sweet. We can do that."

We reached an expensive hotel 5 star hotel. It looked so expensive from the outside. "Are you sure that we're at the right place?" I asked him while the glitters were stealing my attention. I heard him chuckle and say "Yes." He got out and opened the door for me. I looked way too poor to come in such a hotel. Did I mention he was in a black suit? The pants hugged his thighs perfectly. He kept his hand on my back which made me feel quite good.

"Do you have a reservation, sir?" A young woman asked us. She had a shirt on and a small skirt. The shirt was tucked in. Her code was red. "Yes. Xavier Martinez." This is the first time I heard him name. Holy fuck, I never asked him his name. She guided us inside and we got seated in a private room which gave a view of a lake which was surrounded by fancy tables. "Thank you, Xavier." His name rolled out very softly.

He looked at me a bit surprised. Maybe because of the name. "No problem, Jeff."

The dinner went by very good. We had a lot of delicious food and we also talked out ourselves. He told me he worked as an investor. He had a small company owned by his father. I also told him about myself. But kept some things private. Talking to him made me realise that I really need a person like him in my life. A person who would hear me, talk to me and care for him.

We were walking by the lake which was very peaceful. The noise of crickets, grasshoppers and bugs could be heard. And also the noise of us walking. The lake looked very beautiful and some trees had lights on them. The lights were hung on them which made them more pretty. We were quite but not uncomfortable. "Thank you for tonight."

"Always. Did you enjoy it?" We stood opposite to eachother. "It was fun. The food was enjoyable." I was fidgeting with my fingers. "How about a return gift?" I looked at him, confused and before I could process anything, our lips were against eachother. His one hand on the back of my neck and one on the waist resisted me from moving. I felt his tongue push something in my mouth and I don't know how, I gulped it.

He broke the kiss and I saw a small smirk on his face. "What was that?" My eyes were getting blurry. "I'm sorry, Jeff but he made me do it." My head started feeling heavy and I couldn't stand properly anymore. I shook my head trying to regain my senses. Xavier held me against him. "Shh, just sleep." Before I closed my eyes, I saw someone's car open up and many people stepping out.
