Chapter 7 The King of the City Clan

As the two sides were at a distance, Harry couldn't use his Insight spell, but he could hear the commanding voice of the opposing leader, which made him involuntarily admire the opponent.

It was important to note that this was just a game, not a real battlefield, yet the opposing players were disciplined and composed. One could imagine how formidable this clan was.

As soon as he finished speaking, the Warriors quickly retreated, and the Rogues moved forward to pick up the items dropped by the giant wolves. Then, they returned to the team.

After the team was organized, they didn't stop. Under KOC-Tartarus's command, they continued to advance into the forest.

"That KOC-Tartarus is the boss of King of the City Clan?" Harry asked Sunshadow as he watched them leave.

"No, according to the King of the City Clan forum rankings, KOC-Tartarus is only Sixth-in-Command in the clan. As for who the boss is, no one knows yet." Sunshadow shook his head and said.

Harry clicked his tongue. No wonder this clan was so powerful in the game. Only the Sixth-in-Command was already so shocking. As for their boss, whether in reality or in the game, he was definitely not a simple person.

Suddenly, Moonshadow let out a scream, startling Harry. He quickly turned his head to look and saw a snake slithering out of the nearby bushes, its tongue flickering as it swiftly approached them.

Sunshadow nodded and rushed towards the Venom Snake. He stabbed his sword and a number floated up.

"We can kill it," Harry contemplated. Sunshadow was currently at level 4 with a total of 320 health points, which was enough to withstand the snake's venomous skill.

Without wasting any words, Harry swung his staff, and a fireball flew toward the Venom Snake.

Not only Harry but also Moonshadow and Sunshadow reacted simultaneously and began attacking the snake's head. 

Following their previous strategy, if the snake's Aggro were to shift, Harry and Moonshadow would immediately stop attacking and wait for Sunshadow to regain aggro points before resuming their damage output.

Fortunately, the Venom Snake had only used its venomous skill once during the battle. However, the damage inflicted was much higher than that of the wild boar. In addition to the continuous health points loss from the venom, the snake's natural attacks were also challenging for Sunshadow to withstand. But with healing potions, he Managed to hold on.

Among the three, Moonshadow dealt the most damage to the snake. It seemed that the Venom Snake had a higher magic defense but a weaker physical defense.

With all three of them unleashing their full firepower, it only took a few minutes before the snake's health points reached its lowest point. Sunshadow became cautious because the Venom Snake had used its venomous skill once and hadn't used it again since then.

After regrouping and replenishing their status, Harry suggested staying in this area to farm monsters. Sunshadow had no objections, and although Moonshadow didn't say anything, she also silently agreed.

Before long, the three of them found a Venom Snake in a patch of grass. Following their previous strategy, Sunshadow approached to draw aggro while Harry and Moonshadow attacked with their full damage from behind.

Time passed slowly as they continued to Venom Snakes. Lin Harry also summarized his experience. Each snake would only use its skill once at the start of the battle and never again. The weak point of the snake was its head, where attacks would deal significantly higher damage and even result in critical hits, doubling the damage.

With this understanding, their efficiency in farming monsters greatly increased, and it even became easier for them. 

However, while Harry was farming, he often noticed other players with unified name prefixes and a leader figure heading deeper into the forest.

Harry watched the departing players and speculated that they were probably searching for a boss or uninterested in leveling up outside. After all, they had their own team and could venture into higher-level monster areas.

Of course, that had nothing to do with him. The most important thing at the moment was to quickly reach level 10 and then go to the main city to change the class. Along the way, he could also determine his secondary class, allowing him to earn some money in the game.

There was also the village chief's quest. Harry wondered if other players had found it yet. It wasn't the right time for him to return now. It was hard enough to form a team, and if he went back now, there was no guarantee that he could find another team when he returned.

Once he lost his team, he would have to compete with those outside players for monsters. Harry decided to use up his potions first before heading back.
