Chapter 1 : Background

Life had been nothing more but a farce for our main character, Lee. Lee is currently 26 years old and had a stable income as an office worker. However, despite not being jobless, he had no girlfriend, no family, and no goals in life... The closest thing that he had in this life are his hobbies which is playing video games and watching anime. Most of his income is spent this way.

Despite being lonely, our main character is happy. However, it stops there when a man with a costume of a truck suddenly shows up in his apartment. Next thing Lee knows, he had a knife embedded into his chest. Knowing that he will die soon, Lee pleaded.

"God... if you exist, please give me happiness in the afterlife." Lee voiced out in the air, but darkness soon swallowed him whole.

20 years before Luffy's birth...

Somewhere in an unknown island, wild cries and painful shrieks can be heard in a cabin. A group of four people surrounded the cabin, waiting for the people inside to finish. Inside the cabin, a woman is giving birth to a baby. The doctor solemnly looked at the lady who is suffering from giving birth.

"Just push a little bit harder Miss." The doctor consoled the woman who is shrieking with pain. After a couple of push, the baby refuses to come out. The doctor immediately rushed to the nearest nurse.

"Tell Master Rocks that the lady might not survive the farce." The doctor said, giving the nurse a shove. The nurse immediately ran outside and told Rocks, the captain of the Rocks Pirates.

"Sir, the doctor said if we were to continue with the birth, the lady won't survive. However, if you wish we can secure her life at the cost of the baby." The nurse said after being pressured hard by Rocks. She immediately started to suffocate and kneel down.

"Captain, relax." Rocks' first man said, who was next to him.

The captain of the Rocks pirate, Rocks D. Xebec. This crew had banded one of the most infamous people in the world. Isaac Newgate, Kaidou, and even linlin.

"Thanks, Whitebeard." Rocks said after turning towards the nurse and apologizes. "Please tell the doctor to stop the bir-" Rocks continued before an explosion can be heard inside the cabin.

Rocks looked above the cabin and he saw a massive light stemming from the skies. This light hammered the cabin his wife is currently staying in.

Immediately, Rocks rushed inside as he can not feel any lifeforce from the doctor, the nurse, and even her wife. In fact, he could only feel foreign energy that he can barely perceive. This energy is nothing he had felt before. In fact, the only time he felt energy similar to this was when he fought one of the 5 grandmasters of the Marines or the gorosei. Rage had filled Rocks immediately.

Upon entrance, there was nothing in the room. The wooden beam is gone, the roof is nonexistent, the furniture is in disarray. There was a massive crater where the bed was initially posted. Seeing this mess, Rocks' knees gave up and massive shock overcame him. The only woman he had loved is now gone.

Despite being one of the strongest men on the planet, emotions still overpowered him. Tears started to stem down his eyes, dripping slowly to the ground. He knew he should have not continued with the birth, especially when he knows full to well how his genetics could potentially kill any wife who had given birth to his child. He knows this as something similar happened a year ago when the very same woman almost died giving birth to Shanks. Even still, his wife still wanted to have another child.

Rocks were knocked out of his stupor when he heard a cry sounding like a baby located in the middle of the crater. He immediately ran towards the hole that had damned his wife. There, he saw a baby, crying with innocence, and he felt a connection of himself within the baby.

Rocks picked up the baby, caressing it with the gentleness of a beast. Despite being rough, burly, and muscly, this exact moment truly shows Rocks' capability as a father.

Two men soon followed inside the cabin. These two men are Whitebeard and Kaido, his right-hand man and his apprentice respectively.

"Captain, are you alright?" Whitebeard asked his captain, who is holding a baby. He immediately understands what happened inside the cabin just by looking and seeing the mess.

"Whitebeard, Kaido. I am pretty sure you already understand what happened here." Rocks said before motioning towards the two. He then handed out the baby to Whitebeard"I wanted you to secure my wife's legacies. I want you to keep this child, alongside baby Shanks at our ship, and hide them from the eyes of the government. " Rocks said, soon handing out the baby to Whitebeard.

"Captain, I know someone in east blue where they can take care of the children," Whitebeard stated as he motions towards the baby he was given. "it is somewhere in Foo-" Whitebeard continued before being interrupted by Rocks.

"Don't say anything about their whereabouts. Even for me. Make sure to keep it to yourself and deliver the baby to a safe haven for them to grow. I wanted them to at least have a normal life, even if that is close to impossible." Rocks said. He looked towards the sky and started contemplating before deciding.

"I may or may not be able to see them again but I will atleast get vengeance for them." Rocks said, shocking a part of his crew.

The captain of the Rocks pirate, Rocks D. Xebec, had decided to attack the foothold of the Marine.

Whitebeard saw the conviction of his captain.

"Whitebeard, Kaido... Tell the crew that the ship has been disbanded." Rocks said as he left the baby to whitebeard and left.

Just like that, Whitebeard spent the next six months getting the baby to Hina and Coby.

6 Months later...

"Coby. Hina. Please take care of these two children for me." Whitebeard pleaded. His haggard looks make him look even more pitiable.

"Sure thing, Edward. It's very fortunate, actually, because I already had all the supplies for the babies. I had just given birth to Makino a year prior." Hina said with a smile. "First, let's clean you off. Go take a shower or something, you stink." Hina ushered Whitebeard to go to the bathroom.

Upon hearing this, Whitebeard was confused. "You are not going to even ask the identity of these two children?" Whitebeard asked.

"Hmm? All three of us had been comrades before and you saved my life once. Do I need to question the requests of the one who saved me?" Hina said, returning to her cheerful smile.

"Thank you, Hina and Coby. Really." Whitebeard said before handing them out two pieces of paper. "When they grow up, please give these two things to them. The first paper is the vivre card that leads them to me. If I am still alive, I will give them back their legacy and explain to them who their parents are. The second is a box. Please keep it safe. Give it to the two when the time is right."

"Don't worry. We will make sure to turn them into someone you can be proud of." Hina stated before handing out the baby to Coby.

Whitebeard then stayed for a day. After that, he was gone.

1 Year Later...

Rocks had found a lead that one of the Goroseis is the one who had caused the light that killed his wife. This immediately enraged him, clouding his judgment. Almost immediately, he, alongside some of his crew, sets out to God Valley in order to kill one of the people who had ordered the death of his wife, Donquixote Homing.

Initially, during his investigation, Homing was 'out of place' amongst the World Nobles. He was not arrogant, owned minimal slaves, and an overall nice person.

However, all of these were just a facade. Before the birth of his sons, Doflamingo and Rosinante, Homing was secretly forming an army. Although it's purpose is still unknown, Rocks inferred that he was trying to overthrow the current leader of the Celestial Dragons and take his position.

In addition, Rocks also found out that Homing will attack exactly during the day of the gathering in God's Valley.

For the hopes of stopping this and kill Homing in the process, Rocks planned to cause chaos in God's Valley.

The day of the event comes and the Rocks Pirate successfully created chaos. However, when Rocks was about to kill Homing, the Marines had made it to the scene. Not only that, but the captain of the Roger Pirates is also with them.

Seeing the amount of protection Homing had, Rocks and his crew ran away from the scene with their tails behind their back.

The ending may be anti-climatic, however, the crew had successfully freed half of the slaves during the chaos and killed 40 Celestial Dragons alongside the majority of the army Homing amassed.

But, the Rocks Pirate Crew had disbanded and disappeared from the public. No news had ever been heard of them since God's Valley incident.

In order to hide the shame of the World Government, they tampered the news with sweet words towards the masses. For one, they hide the fact that they worked with another pirate, which was Gol D. Rogers. Second, they stated that they had successfully killed Rocks. Lastly, they had hidden the casualties from their side but glorified the damage they dealt towards the Rocks Pirate.

Another year Later...

Homing ended up being depressed from the event. Most of the Celestial Dragons also started to shun him after finding out that he was colluding with the humans.

Homing had no choice but to leave Mary Geoise and live like a normal human. However, instead of the normal life that Homing was hoping for, he received massive oppression from the people.

[(A/N): The timeline shows that Homing left much later but since I am the author and this is a fanfic, I wanted him to leave earlier and die at a much earlier date so that he dies, Doflamingo dies, everyone dies. Yes fuck them I hate them so much]

In less than 6 months, his family was driven into a corner. They have no food, no shelter, clothes are all tattered, and life is basically a mess. They were ended up being killed by the hands of a bulky man wearing a leather hoodie. He introduced himself as Rocks.
