Billy Vs Markus

"You go Billy, that Nugeru girl was definitely his best fighter" Apollo instructed.

At this time, Apollo was holding back his shame, he really doesn't like the feeling of losing to his brother. But thinking about Nugeru's background he managed to calm down and instructed the green hair boy next to him. 

The boy looked to be about 17 or 18 years old, he has pale white skin and strangely slime green hair. After seeing the fight between Nugeru and Allen, he was starting to get nervous about his fight, but hearing his teacher's words he regained his confidence.

Billy nodded his head, and walked onto the now partially destroyed arena, and what welcomed him were the overwhelming cheers of the spectators. He could feel his adrenaline being boosted, and he liked this feeling.

A small smile escaped his mouth showcasing his white teeth, but whiles he was in his own world, he saw his opponent also walking onto the arena with a confident expression, and just like him the boy was welcomed with the cheers of the audience. 

The boy had short black hair, and tan brown skin, with a sword held tightly in his hands, he looked to be about 20 years old. Although his teacher told him that Nugeru is the only strong fighter on Agnes' team, Billy isn't dumb enough to underestimate his opponent because of that.

"What's your name?" the boy asked Billy.

"Billy! yours?" Billy replied.

"The names Markus, let's have a good fight Billy" Markus said as he raised his sword above his shoulders.

Seeing the two boys' interaction, Ranger didn't waste any time, he too was curious about who would win this fight. He already knew who was gonna win the last fight because he was aware of Nugeru's case, but he knew nothing about these two boys except their names.

"Begin!" Ranger shouted loudly to start the match.

'Swish' 'Swish'

Both Markus and Billy used 'Soru' and they turned into a blur rushing towards each other, Markus with his sword swinging down and Billy with his right leg outstretched.

'Bam!'

It seemed that Billy wanted to use his leg to compete with Markus's sword. It took only a second for the two to collide, leg and sword, causing a small collision, with the wind around them being repulse, blowing up dust in the arena.

Both of them retreated back after fully testing each other, but Markus had a troubled expression. He realized that he lost to Billy in their confrontation just now, which meant that he was gonna be at a huge disadvantage in this fight.

Unlike Nugeru who could already do flying slashes, he was only in the iron slashing realm. And he had only reached this level recently, this meant that, although he could dominate in close combat, he would be at a disadvantage in the long and mid range combat. 

But after his first collision with Billy he realized that Billy was stronger than him Physically. And it was obvious that close combat was Billy's specialty, so the only thing that could give him an advantage now is Haki.

But his Haki isn't really up to par compared to Nugeru and Allen, for instance, he could only cover his sword with Haki for a short period during combat, while Nugeru and Allen fought almost their entire match with Haki.

But while Markus was deep in thought, Billy was overjoyed. He didn't even think much as he covered his right leg with Haki and sprinted towards Markus. But Markus wasn't surprised as he sensed Billy with his Observation Haki.

Markus quickly covered his sword in Haki, he knew that although his Armament Haki might be weak, it's enough for basic defense, and its enhancing effect on his sword should be enough for Billy.

'Shiing'

Their collision sounded like iron hitting against each other, causing sparks, but unlike the last time, instead of retreating, Billy swung his other leg that was also covered in Haki aiming for Markus right rib. 

Markus quickly retracted his Haki covered sword that had collided with Billy's right leg, and swung it towards Billy's left leg to intercept his attack.

But when his sword collided with Billy's leg, he was flung back uncontrollably before he forcibly stopped himself by digging his sword into the arena ground. 

'Well, I guess this proves that his Haki is stronger than mine' Markus could help but think while trying to catch his breath.

'Swish' 'Swish' 'Swish'

"Shit!"

As Markus Observation Haki sensed multiple attacks coming towards him, he only had time to roll over quickly to dodge the attacks. And what landed in his previous position were three air blades sent out by Billy who was now.. In the air.

After his last attack, Billy, who sent Markus almost of his feet flying backwards, took advantage of Markus unstable state and moon stepped into the air whilst sending out three air blades.

He knew that Markus would sense his presence eventually, so he used the air blades to make Markus more flustered. He already realized that he had stronger Haki than Markus and although he can't cover his entire body with it, he also observed that Markus could barely maintain the Haki on his sword. 

Billy quickly swooped down towards the rolling Markus with his Haki covered legs aimed towards Markus.

The audience both in the coliseum and at the different big screen zones, held their breath as they watched Billy's next move. 

They felt that based on what they had observed so far of Billy's leg attacks, anyone that took a clean, undefended hit, might die, and that's after taking into consideration the defenders superhuman strength.

But as Billy's two Haki covered right leg was about to hit Markus, Markus almost instinctively horizontally raised his Haki covered sword to defend against Billy's attack.

'Boom!'

Their collision not only caused an explosion, but caused cobweb-like cracks on the arena floor, and the audiences anxiety only increased because they were unable to see the condition of the Markus and Billy thanks to the dust and debris blown up by the explosion.
