Chase and Water 7

*Alright well lets get on with my evolution then I can't wait to get even stronger from now on*

*Well since I can't do that for time being I guess I should use my Gatcha rolls* and so I did just that and here are the units I got

*Nice their all really strong units and maybe in the future allies that I can take with me on my journeys, I know who I'll call upon First from these five when the time is right and I can bring them here* I start to grin like an idiot and start chuckling to myself, with the girls seeing this Hancock comes over and punches me on the arm.

"Why are you sitting there giggling like an idiot?" (Hancock)

"Well were free!! Especially me I'm free, Finally after 10 long years of pain and suffering I'm out of there." I say as I proceed to hug her and twirl her around in joy, luckily we were in our cabin by now so none of the crew saw my happy celebration with the girls.

"HEY! Let go of me! Only married couple can hug each other!" Hancock says all flustered like trying to escape my arms.

I let go and look at her like I'm looking at a stupid person, "Are you dumb or something? Who told you that?"

"WHO YOU CALLING DUMB!!! YOUR THE DUMB ONE HERE!!! And my Elder told me that only men and women who are married can hug each other..... Well that was before she became a traitor and left Amazon Lily for good...." she said with a slightly sad look before soon going back to being upset with me

"You know there are different kinds of hugs right? A married couples hug is when there in bed and are hugging each other, a hug between friends and family is normal to have right, at least I hope you guys think of me as a friend..." I say as I start to feel a bit sad about it all.

"...." Marigold comes over and bites the bullet and comes hug me to cheer me up, I start sniffling as tears begin to form around my eyes, Sonia feels bad about the whole situation seeing me so vulnerable right now she glares at Hancock and comes to hug me as well as I'm silently sobbing to myself, even though Hancock feels bad she's not letting up and is still acting as if she's mad at me.

"I-I'm just g-glad to have met you girls *sniff* I've been wearing a mask most of my life *sob* you had to hide the pain and any emotions you felt or you'd be tortured even more for their amusement, those bastards love to see you suffer and I suffered since the day I was born....." tears keep flowing out of my eyes, but deep within my eyes a fire was burning, and it was getting brighter and brighter, "But one day I'll take all of them down off there high horse." I say with a look of absolute conviction on my face.

"...."

"Are you an idiot? What can a kid like you do to the government? Are you gonna join the revolutionary army or something?" (Hancock)

"No their too slow and sneaky, unless I absolutely have to, Like the plan for our original escape, that's not my style, hell I've been lying to myself my whole life as to what kind of man I really am just so I could survive that hell hole, I was a bird in a cage, now I'm free and the world is my oyster, but destroying the government is more an ultimate final goal for me, really my main goals are to see the world, become rich, and have a Huge family of my own either through blood, marriage or through the friends I make along the way." I look out to the sea as I say my most deepest wishes I have for this world.

"...I want to see more of this world too, but we need to get stronger before we can do that, so our primary objective is to get back to Amazon Lily, but how are we gonna explain to them how we got these abilities?" Hancock said with a worried look as she looked between herself and her sisters who both now had obvious snake tongues and there eyes would change to look more snake like every so often

"Hmmmm, what if we made up a story of you guys being cursed by a monster or something?"

"You heard of a monster that has stuff to do with snakes and can petrify there enemies into stone?" (Sonia)

"There is one that comes to mind, The Gorgon Medusa." I say with a sagely look on my face

"What's the story behind it?" (Hancock)

"Well there are multiple versions of it that take on different meanings based on the interpretation of it, which one do you want to hear? the version that she was always a monster, or the one where she was turn into a monster?"

"The one where she was turned into a monster."

"Then the story takes on a more sadder tone, Thousands of years ago when the gods still walked the world, the God Poseidon fell in love with a beautiful human by the name of Medusa, an apostle of the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena, there would have been nothing wrong with this love if not for the fact they wanted to consummate their love in one of Athena's temples. This was considered a disgracefully act to be done in a temple dedicated to a god so out of pure spite Athena cursed her by turning her into a hideous monster that resembled a woman mixed with a snake, with her hair turning into snakes and if you looked into her eyes directly you'd be petrified by her stare and turn to stone. Enraged at what had been done to her she destroyed the temple and turned the island inhabitants into stone statues. Furious at what Medusa had done Athena went to find a hero to slay the beast, and so she did just that a young strapping the lad by the name of Perseus, a demigod born from the union of the Sky God Zeus and a human woman, told through a dream by Athena that he would become a hero to the world and all he needed to do was to slay the Gorgon Medusa, after he awoke to find at his feet a sword that could cut anything and shield that was polished to a mirror shine, with these he boarded a ship to the Isle of Statues, where Medusa resided. After searching the Island he finally found her abode, but if your hoping for an epic story of a battle between the two that would make children shudder in fear and awe of his bravery sorry to say that he was a pragmatic hero, so he waited till she went to sleep, and snuck into her abode and cut off her head in her sleep, and that's how the story of Medusa ended and how the story of the hero Perseus began." *whew* "Man that's the longest I've ever talked in one sitting, so what do you think of the story?"

(A/N Sorry about adding about 300 words of fluff to this chapter, to make up for it I'm making this chapter extra long)

I wasn't really paying attention to the girls as I told the story but Sonia and Marigold were silently sobbing to themselves, Hancock was to focused on listening she didn't notice until now so she was trying to cheer them up.

"But you girls aren't ugly, isn't that right Vargas?" She says as she gives me a very pissed look, but instead of responding I get up and stand before the girls.

"Look at me."

"..." they don't respond and just look further down while crying more

"Look. At. ME!" I say as I place my hands under there chins and force there faces up to look me in the eye

"The only ugly thing I see here is the tears and snot coming from your face, but under all that I see to pretty snake girls who will one day become beautiful snake women, so cheer up you look better when your not sad." I say with a gentle smile on my face

*Sniff* "Do you really mean that?" (Sonia)

"With all my heart"

"You swear on it?" (Marigold)

"Cross my heart and hope I die if I say other wise."

*Badump Badump* (Sonia/Marie)

I then take out a cloth for both of them and wipe the tears from there faces, after I turn around to look at Hancock I see her acting all huffy with a pout while looking away from me, I could tell why she was upset.

"Your pretty to Hancock, but why do you need me to state the obvious right girls?"

They both nod and start showering her with praises to try and cheer her up, which causes her to blush and smile before giving out what I like to call the *Snooty Princess Laugh*

"OOOHOHOHOHOOO of course, I am the most beautiful girl in the all the seas after all!" She said with a cheeky look.

*Sigh* *This girl is gonna be a handful to try to keep from making trouble everywhere we go before we get back to Amazon Lily*

Just as I was hearing these thoughts I suddenly hear shouts from the deck and sounds of panic coming from the deck up above, "I'll go see what's going on."

"Be careful..." (Marie)

"I will" I say with a smile as I head towards the deck, but my heart was beating rapidly and my blood was pumping, *Finally I get to fight for real this time and not in the virtual battlefield, now its time to take all of my years of practice and put it into action!* I grin as I ascend the stairs to reach the deck.

"What's going on?" I say with a more serious looking face as I hide my excitement

"Were being chased down by pirates!"

"Big deal pirates always attack merchant ships this should be common for you guys now."

"Well that's true for most pirates but these ones are different, her look at there Jolly Roger." the captain hands me his telescope to have a better look of it and the flag flying over there ship had the motif of a shark about to chomp down on a skull and cross bones.

"It's the White Shark Pirates! Lead by 'SharkTooth' Jack, who has a bounty of 100,000,000 Berry on his head if including the crew it bumps that up to 150,000,000 Berry! WERE GONNA DIE!!!"

"What are they known for being extremely ruthless or something?"

"No It's not that, That's a Fishman pirate crew they always kill humans on sight, rape and kill the women, take all the goods, and sink the ships into the sea" he said with a look of terror on his face.

"Hmmmmm, so that means I don't have to hold back then, I'll leave only his ship and head intact." I say as I unsheathe my sword and let it rest on my shoulder.

*Sweats* "Kid I'm not doubting you or anything but you-" before he could finish talking I show him my hand lighting up on fire.

"Were gonna be eating cooked sea food tonight." I say with a scary looking grin on my face, as we were talking the White Sharks were catching up to us that they started firing there cannons at us, most missed and any that were about to hit were cut down by me

"Hooooo, looks like they got some decent protection, alright boys! Prepare to board!" (Jack)

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

Shortly after they began to board, but they started to get cut down one by one under my blade, normal blades would have a hard time cutting through these fishmen because of there naturally tough skin but Dandelga isn't a normal blade, it can easily take the heat generated from my body and transfer it to the blades edge making these fishmen butter in front of a hot knife.

Realizing that this merchant has stronger protection than what would be normally found on a boat of this size, it being a small merchant vessel after all, he needed to step in or his crew will be wiped out, and so with a leap he appeared before me.

"Your pretty strong for a human your size." he says as he pulls out 2 large scimitars from his back and points at me with one of them.

"What can I say, I like to eat seafood, now be a good fish and get in my frying pan cause I'm feeling pretty hungry right now." I say as I give a sinister look while licking my lips.

"THAT'S IT YOUR DEAD BRAT!!!" Enraged at my taunt he comes at me full speed. I knew I had to take him seriously unlike the rest of his crew and soon are blades began to clash.

*BANG-A-DANG-DANG* the sounds of our blades clashing was fierce and fast, I was more skilled than him but he had more raw power than me and it was forcing into the losing position slowly pushing me to the edge of the deck, if I fell into the water I'd be in their territory and it would be extremely difficult to succeed in defeating him. So I had to get creative with my moves.

"Your a dead man brat, I'm gonna mount your head on my wall as a trophy!" He says as he gives me a sharp tooth grin filled with razor sharp teeth.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, I'm not dead yet!" I say as I launch a fire ball into his eyes

"ARGH!!!" he was blinded from that attack as he held his face, but he was cautious enough to do something that looked like he hardened his skin to make it tough as steel (Armament Haki)

I knew I had to do something and I had to put in my all or he'll go all out to take me down, but I had fought enough to generate enough heat to use one of my skills.

"Brave Burst! FLAME RIDE!!!!!" I say as I channel all my heat into Dandelga and causing a sharp sword wave of heat to cleave right through Jack and the rest of his crew all at once burning all of them to ash but I grab Jacks head before it turned to ash like the rest of his crew.

"....." Everyone was stunned silent from what they just witnessed the entire White Shark pirates just, poof, gone just like that, but I had used up almost all of my energy, so I kneeled on one knee with my blade thrusted into the deck just to hold me up

"Since I'm not getting paid for protecting this ship the full bounty for their crew goes to me and everything on there ship is mine got it?"

"T-that's fine by me its what you deserve for saving us." (Capt.)

"Good, I'll go on their ship and see what they have of value, then I'll sink it before we head off on our way to Water 7." I say as I pick myself off the deck an enter the other ship to take anything and everything of value, but since I was so distracted from the attack I didn't even realize that the sisters snuck up to the deck and watched the whole fight between me and the White Shark's

"That was so cool!" (Hancock)

"It seems that he actually knows how to use that big sword of his after all." (Sonia)

*Badump* (Marie)

After scouring the ship I was able to collect all the valuable items and Berries which came out to about 500,000 Berries all together half of that value was based on the Jewels, Exotic goods and the like with 250,000 Berries already there just for the taking, I was able to stuff all of the goods and valuables into about 3 chests of goods and then brought it all back while taking there Jolly Roger as more proof of me taking down their crew.

"Alright I got everything I need lets head off to Waters 7." I say as I finish dumping oil onto the deck of the pirate ship and setting it ablaze with my flames, to let it sink into the seas below.

The captain nods and tells the crew to head out for Water 7, after that I go back down below deck and for the rest of the 5 day journey, we're not attacked even once and thus with me and the girls we finally reach Water 7.
