Chapter Seventy Eight_ He Was My Hero.

Christine's POV

I crinkled my eyebrows and looked up at the path of the voice, only to see a tall man approaching our table with a smile. Moreover, I couldn't help but wonder how he knew Valerie and even worst, who is he to her? I stared at Valerie to see her reaction, only to notice the broad smile on her lips.

Furthermore, I knitted my eyebrows in anger and clenched my jaw. Though the man standing right in front of me now looks familiar, I can't pinpoint the exact place I met him.

"Ohh Sam, long time no see!" She said with a broad smile and stood up from her seat, and for some reason I almost lost my cool.

How on earth can I sit here with her, and she has the temerity and effrontery to stand up and hug a man as though I'm invisible? I folded my fist on my lap and stared at the two people acting like a couple.
