Prologue

Jane is a 22 year old girl from Bath. Two months ago she moved to London with her boyfriend so they can pursue their dreams, hers to become a writer and his to be an actor.

To make ends meet she started working in a cafe.

She thinks of herself as average and with two older sisters and two younger brothers, being the middle child she always did her best to be a good girl at school and at home. Like this she won't give any headaches to her parents, like her other siblings did.

That made her become rather shy. She also ended up being more reserved, trying not to stand out much in her daily life.

There is just one thing she would allow herself to have, music. She would secretly listen to korean pop and hip-hop because she felt like she could do anything in this world while listening to k-pop. It made her truly happy.

All was well, or so she thought, until a week ago. She found out that her boyfriend, Gary, cheated on her with his new friend, an actress.

At first, after kicking him out, her family tried to persuade her to forgive him because it was just a "mistake" and Gary had them on his good side. But...it didn't matter for Jane, he was never supportive of her or her dreams anyway.

She put her foot down and say no to her family,no to Gary.

After all this she realised how sad and lonely she felt but it was for the better.

She knew she was strong and things will be alright for her.

How will life go on for Jane and will she survive London, without Gary?
