Forest mission 2

The moment Yes-man goes into the battle, the monkey monsters are getting killed right and left.

After a while, all the monkey monsters are eliminated.

"Group 2, please retreat back into the base to treat the injuries," said Operator.

40 minutes later, Group 2 and Yes-man arrived at the base. Almost everyone on the team has some kind of injury but no one got severe damage.

Haruna is included in this mission and her main job is healing. She rushed to them and healed them one by one.

The healed people immediately rushed to find water as the thirst for water after being healed is really getting to them.

Group 2 departed immediately after 1 hour of rest, the time is 10 PM, and every team in the forest is exploring and killing monsters. B-rank heroes are also running getting tired as more and more tiger-level monsters will be appearing frequently.

The team is able to hold and kill up to 4 tiger-level monsters but more than that will be above their capacities.

2 A-rank heroes are also getting ready as they can depart more quickly if the call for help has appeared.

Just like that the entire half of the forest is clear and the monsters in these regions are long dead.

The operator called every team back to the base to take a rest.

2 hours later, the combat unit is ready and they set out again. This time there will be only 2 groups which are groups A and B. Each group will have 3 B-rank heroes, 4 C-rank heroes, and 20 staff from her association. Genius and the 2 operators will be responsible to watch everything happening on the screen as this time Genius estimated that the monster attacks will be bigger and more frequent.

The two A-rank heroes are also ready to depart anytime.

'These two can handle the tiger-level monster if the number is below 20. So this mission is already in the bag as there is no way there will be an attack that involved more than 20 monsters in this forest according to calculation and attack pattern. I'm really glad that Dead lance is not necessary to be involved,' thought Genius.

In the car, Genius tried to talk to every member of A-rank heroes and Gin. Gin also talked back to him but the conversation always died with his words. Genius also doesn't know who to talk with him as he can't read what he is thinking with his poker face.

Genius became a hero because he wanted to prove that the brain is more powerful than brawl and he proved that to the heroes in A, B, and C ranks by becoming number 3 in A rank. Genius requested to the hero association that he is ready to become an S-rank but his request is rejected with the words 'Not enough strength'

Genius killed the monster with the things, he invented and these things are really powerful but the hero association is clearly worried about his capacity to fight with his props.

Yes-man and High might be promoted to S-rank as these two abilities are really useful and powerful.

Genius snapped out of his pondering because he saw that A group is attacked by many monsters which looked like giant beetles. These beetles are really big and they are standing on two feet which makes Genius question God which is not impossible in this world.

These beetles are slow but the attacks from its horn are really strong as the shield of the staff cracked a little after being attacked by it. The attacks from C-rank heroes and the staff are not working so they focus on retaining them and making B-rank heroes deal damage.

This strategy is working before the golden beetle came into the battle. The B-rank hero saw that and he attacked with great vigor but the golden beetle just gave him a kick from its left leg and the B-rank hero is out of the game.

Genies also saw that and he immediately make High depart as the ability of High is really suitable to this battle.

High went as quickly as he can to group A but 20 minutes delay is not unavoidable.

When High arrived, some of the shields are already destroyed and the Golden Beetle is glaring at the 3 B-rank heroes and 4 C-rank heroes.

"Hey, goldies, come here, come here, I will give you something good," said High, and he clenched his right fist and he is trying to pour something into that fist.

The fist started to glow red and when High thought that it is enough he rushed to the Golden Beetle. The Golden Beetle attacked High with its horn but High dodged that and he punched into the body of the Golden Beetle. The Golden Beetle which is confident in its shells is surprised as its vision gets dark.

High attack to the Golden Beetle is not the normal as he can manipulate the heat in the surroundings and bend around his fist till it is shaped like his hands become two ball-like shapes.

The heat of the fist with which he attacked the Golden Beetle is as high as 1500 degree Celsius. But High can only remain in that heat for about 40 seconds and more than that will make his hand becoming to feel the heat.

To bend around his fist, he will have to make the surface that is nearest to his hands to the temperature as low as he could and the outer surface's temperature will be 1500 degrees Celsius but heat is an element that is traveled so the outer surface temperature will eventually reach to the inner surface so he will have to finish the battle in as short as possible.

The genius looked at the battle and is not surprised by this result as High's ability is powerful but he needed to make his ability more fluid.

Genius told 3 staff of the hero association to come and get the new shields from the base and he continued to observe the battle of Group B.

Group B is smooth sailing even though they also encountered a big group of monsters like Group A. The reason is because of the hero named Buzzing Bee. This hero is included in this mission despite his low rank because the hero association believed that he has the skill to be in this mission.

The Buzzing Bee used shout spears as his weapon and he attacked long-ranged more than melee but his skill in melee is also not to be underestimated.

Every throw of the Buzzing Bee can kill or serious injury the wolf-level monsters and the monsters he can't kill with that throw will be killed after he threw another.

'This guy's skill is really crazy and I am not that surprised. From the age by looking at this man, is certainly in his 30 which is the age that most martial arts master graduated their students. At that age, the people who practiced martial arts seriously from a young age will gain strength that surpasses ordinary humans. And from the looked of it this guy can be called talented,' thought Genius.

'But what is happening with Z city as they have heroes who used weapons so proficiently and that Dead lance used his lance like his hands,' thought Genius while thinking about the battle between Dead lance and that weird demon-level monster.

High arrived back and he is soaking his fists with the wet clothes and talking with Yes-man.

The help request from Group B has arrived as Genius is sucking his strawberry juice.

When Genius looked at the screen for Group B, he saw that Buzzing Bee is fighting against the monster which looked like a big Porcupines. That big porcupine is shooting its spikes at Buzzing Bee and Buzzing Bee can only focus on dodging.

After it shoots, Buzzing Bee threw his spear but the spear is easily reflected back by the remaining spikes on its body.

Buzzing Bee is really in a hard place as the other people in Group A are also attacked by other smaller porcupine monsters.

Genius told High to go again as he can finish more easily than Yes-man.

High arrived quickly and kill the big porcupines easily and Buzzing Bee also attacked the other smaller ones with his spears and the battle ended quickly.

This battle is not that intended as Buzzing Bee managed to hold the big porcupine and the other can focus on the smaller ones.

The time passed and about 4 hours is spend Genius is about to call both groups to have another break but the ground is starting to shake in the camera of Group B.
